About: With over 8 years of experience in animal care, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of pets—including dogs, cats, rats, and even lizards! I’m confident handling pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions who need a bit of extra TLC. I also have experience administering medications like pills, topical creams, and pet inhalers. I’m always happy to learn your pet’s unique routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes and work, I’m fully available on Fridays and weekends and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. I look forward to meeting new pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick to their usual routine—whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or meds—whatever they need to feel at ease. I know how important it is to have someone you trust in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space and do my best to leave things just as I found them (or better!). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you're away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and try to make the time you're gone as stress-free as possible for both of you.

“Our dog usually takes awhile to warm up to people - and he loved Anna from the very first playdate! Anna is the best dog sitter we have had here in Minnesota!!”

About: I have years of experience taking care of dogs from all ranges of mobility, energy, size, and needs. Last year my puppy passed from bone cancer and with that came an extensive medicine regimen. I am comfortable giving medication and providing extra care for those senior dogs. I also have history with enrichment activities and playtime for those pups with extra energy. I am currently pursing my M.A. in English Literature at St. Thomas. I have class two days a week in the evening, but when I am not doing that I am either doing Fellowship work or am hanging out with my friends and their pets! My family has had pets in all locations from small backyards, to expansive acres, to a two bedroom apartment. I am comfortable navigating care and safety in all in environments to ensure your pet returns back to their home.

Mita is wonderful!!! She took amazing care of my cat while I was out of the country for 2 weeks. My kitty was so happy to have a lap to lay on and be petted everyday. Mita also made sure auto litterbox, feeder, and fountain were kept full and functioning. Her willingness to adjust her schedule to my overseas time difference was great of her. I would absolutely book her again and again.

Emily did such a great job taking care of my baby girls! She was communicative, sent me lovely photos of them and I had so much peace of mind knowing she was looking on in them while I was away! She even came over prior to the first visit to meet them and get to know their routines. I am so grateful for Emily's care and reliability! Thank you!

Olivia was great! She was responsive in communications with me, consistent in her visits, listened to what my cat needed, kind and caring. She sent short sweet messages each day with cute pics to let me know my cat was well taken care of. I’d surely book Olivia again!

This is the third time we have worked with Amanda to watch our cat on a prolonged trip. She takes such good care of our kitty. Amanda sends lots of photos, and our cat loves playing with her. Handing off of keys is easy, and she’s extremely flexible. We’ll absolutely work with her again.

We asked Tyler to do a drop-in visit for our three cats while away for the weekend, and he did a great job. Our cats were happy when we arrived home. Litter robot had adequate litter, water fountain and food bowls were full. One of our cats is very shy, he put in effort to find her to know that she’s well but ultimately respected her boundaries and put wet food in a safe space for her. Would definitely recommend tyler to others needing a rover sitter and would love to hire him again! Thanks again

Sara took wonderful care of our cat who can be quite shy. We came home to a happy kitty. Communication was great with daily photos, some even included the elusive cat. Sara even took care of putting peanuts out for the blue jays in our feeder. Highly recommend Sara and would gladly rebook.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
