“Olivia was amazing with my year old GSP. She was punctual, friendly and enthusiastic during the initial meet and greet. Afterwards, she was always on time and even stayed a few minutes past the allocated 30 minute session just to make sure my pups needs were met. I highly recommend her for any of your pet watching needs.”

About: Hi! I'm an animal lover who provides attentive, reliable pet care. As the adult account holder and caregiver, I will be responsible for all aspects of your pet's care, including walks, feeding, medication administration (if needed), and supervision. I also have a 10-year-old daughter who loves animals and may occasionally accompany me during walks or visits. Because of this, I ask that pets be comfortable around respectful, animal-savvy children. My daughter's presence is always supervised by me, and your pet's safety and well-being remain my top priority. I look forward to getting to know you and your furry family member! I work long days Mondays through Wednesdays but have more flexibility outside of that. Can accommodate before and after work visits. I love long walks! I cannot care for pets in our home but can come to you! Your pet MUST be kid friendly in case my 10 year old comes with!
“This was my first time using Rover, and I had a very positive experience with Sarah doing drop-ins for my cats! I could tell from the pictures she sent me that my cats were so happy she stopped by. I’ll be looking to book her in the future!”

“Christy was fabulous with our cat over the holidays. We had a family emergency arise and needed to leave early. She not only agreed to watch out cat a few days early, but even helped adjust the booking. I definitely recommend using Christy!”

“Michelle took wonderful and professional care of our cat and went above and beyond, even unpacking and putting away our chewy order that arrived while we were away.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old including walking my neighbors dog everyday and helping with my own pup. I prize my communication and reinforcement skills! I’m currently working part-time at a restaurant, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I will keep my availability posted as it changes per week. I want to create a safe environment for your animal. I pride myself on patience and compassion with animals. I will create a long lasting, loving relationship with your pet!

“Teresa rocks! She's so good with my difficult cat and communicative with me about everything that matters. She's clearly paying close attention and takes her care seriously. I really really recommend her and am so appreciative of the attentive care she gave my cat. Helped me stay worry free while I was gone for ten days!”

About: Caring for dogs since age 10, I grew up fostering pets and have experience with dogs, cats, and different personalities, providing loving, attentive, reliable care. I am available for Rover pet care services on most days of the week with a flexible and reliable routine. I can provide care in the mornings, mid-day, and evenings from Monday through Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday, making it easy to meet pets’ feeding, exercise, and companionship needs throughout the day. On Wednesdays, I am available in the morning and evening but unavailable during the afternoon, so care on that day would be adjusted to ensure pets receive attention before and after that time. I prioritize safe, respectful, and reliable care when looking after pets in their owner’s home. I carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medications, and daily routines, to ensure pets feel comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. I also take great care to keep the home secure by locking doors, monitoring pets closely, and preventing any potential escape or hazards. Cleanliness is important to me, so I maintain tidy feeding areas, litter boxes, and living spaces while ensuring anything unsafe is kept out of reach. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being, watching for any signs of stress or illness and keeping owners updated with regular communication. Above all, I respect each home and its rules, providing a calm, safe, and loving environment so pets can feel happy and secure in their familiar space.
About: Before moving to Minnesota I lived with my roommates dog for 4 years. Her dog, Tabby, was a part of our little roomie family and my roommate could rely on me to help out with daily care needs (i.e. watching her when she went on trips, feeding, walking, potty breaks, play time, etc.) I am now missing the presence of a fur baby in my life and would love to opportunity to work with your dog this summer and beyond. I am a kind, caring and responsible individual who you can rely on to treat your dog as if it were my own. I'm currently working part time so I have a fairly flexible schedule. I am free full time for weekend sitting Saturday-Monday. I also am free during the day some Wednesdays and every Friday. I have evening availability every weeknight except Friday. I am happy to abide by any house rules you have for your dog (i.e. furniture rules, crating, etc.) While I can't host dogs in my own home due to landlord restrictions, if I were to come into your home I would treat it as my own and leave it how I found it. I am happy to provide companionship, feeding, walks, or potty breaks depending on your needs.
“Ned came for a meet and greet so I could introduce LucyLulu and show him how I feed her, what commands we use and how to get her in and out of the house and kennel. LucyLulu liked Ned and he reported she was a good girl both visits. He lives very close and it is a good match.”

“Chloe was a superb dog sitter! We are so grateful she could stop in to care for our senior dog when we needed extra support. Would totally have Chloe back again.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Krista exceeded all of our expectations with her care of our 2 cats. She followed all of our care instructions, gave frequent and thorough updates, and made us feel confident that our cats were safe. We would absolutely work with Krista again for future trips!”

Expirence with many (and I mean a lot!) of breeds, and expirence with human/dog/food/leash reactive dogs of all types and temperments! About: With over 8 years of experience in animal care, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of pets—including dogs, cats, rats, and even lizards! I’m confident handling pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions who need a bit of extra TLC. I also have experience administering medications like pills, topical creams, and pet inhalers. I’m always happy to learn your pet’s unique routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes and work, I’m fully available on Fridays and weekends and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. I look forward to meeting new pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick to their usual routine—whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or meds—whatever they need to feel at ease. I know how important it is to have someone you trust in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space and do my best to leave things just as I found them (or better!). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you're away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and try to make the time you're gone as stress-free as possible for both of you.

Scott did a wonderful job checking in on my cat while I was out of town. Their communication was great and I appreciated the updates after each visit. My cat can be feisty when people who are not me enter our home, but Scott just went with it and I feel handled it great. I would definitely recommend and book with Scott again!

Julianne is a true angel! We are so grateful for her sweet care of our dog and our cats! She genuinely loves animals and they are very comfortable with her. Even our shy cat who never comes out for anyone, played with her and felt comfortable. She sends us updates with pictures and reassurance that all is well. We are confident knowing that our pets are safe and happy!😊🥰🦮🐈⬛🐈⬛

Trinity was a caring & attentive pet sitter to my two cute but somewhat high maintenance kitties. I especially appreciated her frequent communication & attention to all the pet care details as well as the various rules/ & regulations in my apt. building. I am definitely hiring her again for pet care & recommend that you do too!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Saint Anthony. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
