“Dave is the best! Our Sam just loved him. He was extremely well cared for and honestly the peace of mind knowing your pup is in good hands just can’t be beat. “Maria was the best sitter we could have found for Luna. We were always receiving pictures and video of how much fun our dog was having. She always looked extremely happy, well taken care of and loved. Communication was excellent, sitter was gracious, the house and backyard were big and spacious. Maria is our official doggy sitter.”

“Alvin is treated like a prince, pampered and spoiled. Elsa has investigated why his teeth are bad and purchased a syringe to improve his water intake. I love receiving pictures and films of Alvin playing with Elsa & Nick, and enjoying new friends. I appreciate that they were able to train him to use the stairs, and provide a bath. I could not ask for better care. I am able to relax knowing Alvin is enjoying a 5 star vacation.”

I hope my upcoming vacation aligns with your available dates so I can bring Maala back again. :)”

Together, we bring double the dedication and double the care to your home whenever you're away! Why Choose Our Duo? -Two Sets of Eyes & Hands: Your cat gets extra love, socialization, and supervision during every drop-in visit. -Respectful & Reliable: We follow your home rules and pet routines to a T, keeping your space tidy and secure. -Transparent Communication: While we don't have experience administering prescription medications or injections yet, we are honest, highly observant, and happy to follow simple non-medical care instructions. -Daily Updates: You’ll get clear check-ins and plenty of cute photos during every visit so you never have to worry.

“Ashley took great care of our two cats! She was extremely communicative, dedicated time and attention to making sure they were active, and made sure they exhibited normal eating/drinking habits while we were traveling. Loved the pictures as well!”

“Ciboney took excellent care of my senior cat — brushing her, providing her daily meds — and shared great updates during her visits! I highly recommend!”

“Sarah did a really good job while we were gone. It was hard to leave our cat Luna alone in the house for 10 days but I knew I could trust Sarah. She took care of him really well and by the time we were back Luna was safe and happy. Sarah shared daily pictures with me, let me know when she arrived and when she left and told me how Luna was doing. By the pictures and my security cameras I was able to tell that Luna quickly adapted to Sarah and that gave me piece of mind. They both loved spending time with each other. For sure I will trust Sarah again to take care of Luna next time I need to leave town. Thanks Sarah for being so good with Luna.”

“Sydney took great care of my three cats while I was away, and I was so appreciative of all the detailed updates and photos each visit. She even gave updates on what kind of food my cats seemed more interested in that day (note to self: they are out of their beef pate phase!). I highly recommend Sydney for cat sitting and will book again! She went above and beyond to make sure all of their needs were met, including playing with them and making sure they were comfortable while I was gone. My babies were happy and healthy when I returned. It was such a relief knowing my cats were in safe hands, and I truly appreciated Sydney!”

“Tanya is the most incredible sitter ever. We’ve been regularly booking her for nearly 6 months, and are impressed every time. She goes above and beyond to make sure our boys are safe, fed, and happy. We will never book another sitter as long as we have Tanya!”

“My boy and girl kitties love Mexi! My girl is a bit shy but came right up to her. Loved the pictures she took too I could tell they were in good hands . They were not too mad at me when I came back, which means they did not feel abandoned.”

“Dani has taken care of my cat Razzberry on two different occasions this summer. She took very good care of my little girl and I wasn’t worried about her at all while I was gone.”

About: I’ve grown up taking care of all kinds of animals; dogs, cats, fish, and birds! I have the most experience with senior care. Caring for animals is a true joy in my life. I’m currently working at a school, so my schedule is flexible in the afternoon and on weekends. I don’t own any pets due to my roommate’s allergies, so I want time out of my week to interact with pets and go on walks! I’ve previously stayed in clients’ homes for overnight dog sitting. I am comfortable administering medication and cleaning up after your pet. Most importantly, I’m super respectful of your space: your house, your rules.

“Amazing and very accommodating! My cat got sick right before I left town, and she adjusted to this change and helped administer medications while I was gone! My cat recovered well and appreciated her company! Would highly recommend to book!”

“This is my second time having Abby take care of Mochi. Just like last time, Abby showed up on time and carefully followed all the instructions to take care of Mochi. I’m very grateful for her help in keeping Mochi safe and healthy!”

“Anna is such an attentive and consistent sitter and goes above and beyond. I always feel like my cat is in good hands! I will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Pamela did a great job with my two cats! I got detailed updates every day which was really appreciated, and I had a worry free weekend knowing they were in good hands.”

“Dave was a fantastic sitter, so much so that I decided to keep him as my permanent one after using Rover for 2 years! My cat is very needy and he spent so much time with her, along with getting his whole family involved in her care and consistent updates. Could not rate him more highly!”

“Chloe was a superb dog sitter! We are so grateful she could stop in to care for our senior dog when we needed extra support. Would totally have Chloe back again.”

“This was the second time Teresa took care of my cats, and everything went as great as the first time. She spends real time with them, especially my needier cat, and I always appreciate the updates and pictures after every visit. She also gave medication without any problems, which was a big help. It’s a relief to be able to travel knowing my cats are in good hands.”

About: Hi! I’m a kindergarten teacher with a flexible summer schedule, which gives me plenty of time to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality care for your furry family members. I’ve always had a love for dogs and enjoy spending time outside on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, and, of course, giving plenty of cuddles and belly rubs. Every pet deserves attention, exercise, and lots of love while their family is away. At home, I have a puppy named B who keeps me on my toes! She loves meeting new people, playing tug-of-war, and—unfortunately—digging in the dirt whenever she gets the chance. Raising an energetic puppy has given me even more hands-on experience with training, patience, routines, and understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. I know that your pet is more than just a pet—they’re a beloved member of your family. I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. Safety is always my top priority, and I’m committed to making sure your pet feels comfortable, secure, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Whether you need a drop-in visit, a walk, or dog sitting, I’d love to help make life a little easier for your family while giving your best friend the care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup, and I look forward to walking your best friend soon! Currently on a teacher summer schedule, my schedule is flexible this summer! Just reach out and see what we can work out for the other of us. Pets are family, they should be treated like family. My dog is my best friend, I understand how you feel about your furry friend, I’m here for a peace of mind.

“Lizzy & her husband took GiGi for a fun hour long walk in the snow. They gave her a lot of attention and cuddles. They will be great caregivers for your pet.”

“As always, my dog had an amazing time with Kara and Adam! They are so sweet and she always is exhausted when she gets back to me. Her kids are so kind to Jovi and I always look forward to seeing all the pictures Kara and Adam take! Thanks again!”

“Big thank you to Nathan and family for taking Lincoln today. So happy to hear how comfortable he became today. He's a bit of a handful as you know, so thank you for all you do to make him feel anxiety free.”

About: About Me & My Family Hi there! We are a lifelong dog-loving family excited to welcome your furry companion into our home. Dogs have been a central part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and we know how important it is to find a safe, loving, and attentive environment for your pup while you're away. When your dog stays with us, they aren't just guest pets—they become part of the family! Why Your Dog Will Love It Here: -Constant Care & Supervision: Both adults in our home work from home full-time. That means your pup will almost never be left alone! They’ll get frequent potty breaks, steady companionship, and plenty of mid-day love. -Spacious & Secure Yard: We have a large, fully fenced-in yard perfect for zoomies, games of fetch, or lounging in the sun safely. -A Built-In Playmate: Our 2.5-year-old, 45 lb mutt mix is super friendly, energetic, and always eager to make new canine friends. If your dog loves to play, they’ll have a fantastic partner in crime! -Kid-Friendly & Loving Atmosphere: Our two kids (ages 8 and 11) have grown up around animals, know how to respect a dog's space, and love giving extra pets and gentle attention. Our Daily Routine & Environment: Because we work from home, our daily schedule is very flexible. A typical day includes: -Morning: Morning stretch and breakfast, followed by supervised yard playtime. -Mid-Day: Periodic breaks out in the yard, desk-side snuggles, and interactive play sessions. -Evening: Family relaxing time indoors, treats, and lots of cozy couch or dog-bed lounging. Important Notes for Guest Dogs: To make sure everyone has a safe and happy stay, we ask that guest dogs meet a few basic requirements: -Cat & Dog Compatibility: We have two resident cats and one playful dog. Guests should be comfortable around cats (or happy to ignore them) and enjoy playing or peacefully coexisting with other dogs. -House-Trained & Vaccinated: Up-to-date vaccinations and basic house-training are required to keep all our pets healthy and safe. We’d love to host a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a perfect match for everyone. We look forward to meeting you and your pup! Kids are both in soccer and if there’s a game, dogs will likely get some rest at home while we are gone. Otherwise home to supervise and play. Cat & Dog Compatibility: We have two resident cats and one playful dog with a large fenced in yard. Guests should be comfortable around cats (or happy to ignore them) and enjoy playing or peacefully coexisting with other dogs. Our dog is crate trained and sleeps there each night. Happy to crate as well. We have a separate guest space for dogs who want a bit more space to relax in an unfamiliar place.
“Pamela was great! She welcomed a meeting before dog sitting, and asked care questions. Arlington played well with my dog, and they have a great fenced in backyard for running around!”

“Lindsey and her family were so great! They took care of my 5 month old puppy for the day and treated her so well. Gave her lots of play time and walks and sent many updates with pictures. 10/10 would recommend them to take care of your pup!”

About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.
“Fernanda took great care of our dog. He was a little anxious because he had been traveling for several weeks and in lots of new places. She noticed his anxiety, and took him out in her yard to play. Perfect. He even ate a meal with her without needing special feeding (which he’d been struggling to do in new surroundings). Fernanda was easy to work with and a great communicator. I’d definitely use Fernanda again next time we’re in town.”

“This is is the first time I’ve left my dog with a Rover for day care. Kira does a great job with sending pics so you know your dog is doing great. When I picked my girl up she even walked back to Kira as though she wanted to stay haha. I’ll definitely use Kira again.”

“Thank you, Noelle, for being so caring with GiGi! I’m glad that she could enjoy your huge fenced yard and was able to chill at your house. Thanks for the pictures. It is true that she felt so comfortable with you so leaned up against your leg and loved to be petted. :) I WILL CALL AGAIN FOR GIGI’s DOGGY DAY CARE IN THE FUTURE!”

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. I work from home most days in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, with 1–2 days a week in the office. On home days I'm available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and check-ins. On office days, your pup will still get a solid morning and evening routine, and plenty of company once I'm back. There's no private yard, but there's a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience caring for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I've been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home a lot and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! One or two days a week, I have to be at the office; I'll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled before I go. On Saturdays, I'm less flexible for check-in and check-out, since I'm away in the morning for volunteer work. I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).
“Very flexible, great communication, and friendly! My pup had a great time and I felt confident that he was in good hands. Would definitely book again!”

“Archie had a great time bonding with Abrina during his first daycare stay! We have already booked an upcoming boarding stay and we are confident he will enjoy his stay with her.”

“Dave is very caring and will love your pet! He has a great back yard with a very tall fence. I have appreciated Doggy Day Care and boarding with Dave. I will be sure to book with him again!”

About: Introduction Hi! My name is Lori and I LOVE ALL ANIMALS! I am recently retired and I always said that when I had time, I'd spend my days helping animals, however possible. I am so excited to finally be in a place where I can make that happen! If you would help me get my new focus started, I'll offer you a $20 discount and I will treat your pet like family! I’m an experienced pet caregiver with over 40 years of hands-on time caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, and a genuine passion for ensuring pets feel happy and at home while their families are away. I have a special spot in my heart for senior dogs and cats but I also love puppies and kittens, and everything in between! I've cared for my own dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, and birds for over 40 years, so I understand the daily routines, quirks, and needs of all kinds of companions. I'm especially attuned to dogs and cats—I read their body language exceptionally well and know what they're "saying. "For example, a slow blink from a cat is their way of saying "I love you," while a soft "mee mee" often means "come here." With dogs, I always approach respectfully: letting them sniff my open palm first (never reaching over their head, as it can feel dominant), then gently petting the shoulder and down the side. Energy matters so much—staying calm, happy, and positive helps even anxious pets relax quickly. I have a whole "warehouse" of these insights from years of close observation, and I love using them to build trust and joy. I'm reliable, patient, and genuinely excited to care for your pets as if they were my own. I'll play with them, give plenty of love and cuddles, follow your instructions to a T, and make sure they feel at home. Being away from your furry family is tough—I get it, and I'll do my best to keep things feeling normal and happy for them (and send you lots of updates and pictures so you can see for yourself!). I can provide most of the same loving care as other sitters—feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, toy fun, and house check-ins—but due to some mobility limits, I focus on shorter, gentle walks (up to about 15 minutes) or indoor/outdoor potty time and enrichment instead of longer neighborhood strolls. This works wonderfully for calmer dogs, seniors, smaller breeds, or cats who prefer cozy companionship. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's energy level and needs! I can't wait to meet you and your beloved pets! What I'll need from you Age, personality/behavior, feeding routine and amounts, typical daily schedule, house rules, any favorite toys/treats, if they can have people food, medical needs, and anything else that helps me care for them just the way you do. No strong breed preferences—I'm happy with all! Let's Get Started! Availability I'm generally flexible and can arrange visits to fit your pet's schedule—morning, midday, evening, and bedtime routines. I can do drop-in visits, overnight sitting (if selected), or daily check-ins to ensure they're fed, pottied, loved, and happy throughout the day. A typical day We'll start with feeding, fresh water, and a gentle potty break or short walk if your pet enjoys it. Then lots of playtime with toys, gentle petting and interaction based on their cues, maybe some training games or just relaxing together. I'll refill water as needed, clean up any messes, and give plenty of love and attention. Everything will be done with your preferences in mind, plus updates and photos for you!
“We loved having Lindsey watch our dog, Maaya. She was very easy to communicate and coordinate with. She also shared lots of details and photos at the end of each day. Would highly recommend and have her watch Maaya again.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals in the house and on the farm my entire life, from small dachshunds to chow chows to large hunting labs. We’ve had very rascal puppies, young high energy dogs, and very senior dogs on medications and needing special attention. I’ve house sat all sizes of dogs, from terriers and corgis to golden retrievers, as well as cats, both friendly and standoff-ish. Growing up with animals in the house, I know firsthand that pets aren’t pets, they are family, you love them dearly, when they get sick you clean up after them, and they make the world go round. I love pets that are very involved with everyday life (see my photos) of pets “helping” with homework, regular walks and play time, and bedtime snuggles, as well as pets that are in their own world and coexistence works best. I work full-time outside the house, M-F, so I’m mainly looking for weekends and overnights. I’m able to check-in on my lunch breaks when needed, and happy to do so. I grew up in the country and our dogs roamed free, while most animals that I’ve house sat have fenced in yards, so regular walks and active play is necessary. I’m used to animals both being left to roam the house or be crated during the day. I’m a pretty active person and my animals are active parts of my life, so if your pet enjoys people and is able-bodied, we’ll probably be going on lots of walks, finding nearby parks, eating meals together, and snuggling up to watch a movie. No one is allowed to meet your animal unless there is prior approval, especially no other animals unless yours is friendly and willing. I (unfortunately) have experience with animals getting sick, jumping a fence and going for a run, and unfriendly dogs coming close. I recognize these are all unwanted, however very possible, and having experience navigating and handling these often stressful situations, is needed to keep your animal safe and comfortable. I take every precaution to mitigate these risks, and have learned from my own animals and their mischievery.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and absolutely love caring for them! I currently have a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very comfortable with puppies, potty training, walks, playtime, feeding routines, crates, and all of the energy that comes with younger dogs. I also have experience with adult dogs of different sizes and personalities. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet, and I’ll always treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and love that I give my own. I work Thursday-Sunday afternoons or evenings as a server. Here is a rough overview of my class schedule: Mondays: done by 10:30 Tuesdays: done by 12:00 and class again from 4-5:15 Wednesday: done by 10:30, class again from 6-9pm Thursday: class from 10-12:45 Friday: done by 10:30 Right now I live in an apartment, so id be able to stay at your house. I’m very used to staying overnight at other people houses
“Carolina is wonderful! Our Hank can be very hyper and excited, Carolina does a wonderful job working with him and has a gentle yet strong demeanor. She is communicative and great to work with. Highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals, including large dogs and cats. I can do medications and walks with no problem. I work from home so I can be available all day. I work remotely so I can be around all day. I typically get up around 6:30 and go to bed around 10:30 or 11. I can let animals out and walk them during the day. I have roommates with animals, so I am unable to board animals, but I can drop in to let animals out and walk them or stay and house sit.
“Anna has been absolutely amazing to our sweet pup! She makes sure he gets plenty of exercise & I get lots of photos of their adventures which I love!”

“i’ve been using emerson consistently multiple times a week for almost a year now- he is flexible, communicative and extremely reliable. he does a great job with my large doodle and even was able to manage my two large dogs when i had them both. will continue using emerson and highly recommend!”

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: Hi, I’m Lydia — dog mom, belly rub expert, and professional sniff-spot scout. I’ve spent 15 years learning what dogs actually want (hint: it’s all of the above), and a lifetime growing up with dogs and cats of every personality. Energetic or chill, young or old, I’ve got them covered. My daily and weekly routine revolves around pet care. My dog is my first thought when I wake up and the last thing I worry about before bed. I have an abundance of parks near my home that I can take your fur baby to for both exercise and play. I love a good adventure.
About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My sweet girl Sophie passed away this year after 14 loving years together. While I’m not quite ready for a new pup of my own a certainly miss caring for dogs. Maybe I can help you out there! I am a pet parent to all critters under the sun! I have extensive experience with dogs from young pup to seniors with medical needs including all sorts of breeds, large and small. I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I have two kittens and have cat sat for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. No matter how velcro-y or aloof your babies are Id love to keep them happy and healthy. Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! My wide expanse of knowledge means even if I haven’t cared for your exact critter yet I’m confident I’ll be able to pick up any new information easily and will make sure they are well cared for. No critter will scare me away! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins. My evenings can get a bit busy but with enough notice I can absolutely work in further care as well. I’ll be sure to adhere strictly to any instructions you give me. I also will be sure to send updates and pet pics every time I visit and you’re welcome to text me at any point for an update. I’m an extremely clean and tidy person and will leave your home better than I found it.

About: Hello! I have been consistently house/dog sitting since 2023. I have experience in watching dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I previously have watched three dogs at a time, so if you have more than one dog that is no problem. I also have experience in providing dogs with medications needed throughout the day. This includes insulin shots and capsules/pills mixed into their food. While you are away I prefer to keep the dog in its original home rather than hosting your dog. I do require a meet & greet before services. This is for my safety alongside for you and your puppies comfortability with my presence. Beyond all else it’s important to me that your dog stays comfortable. I have cared for anxious, storm scared, epileptic, loud barkers, and jumpy puppies. It’s important to me that you communicate your animals behavior or traits so I can care to the best of my ability. Without a doubt I will accommodate to your dogs feeding requirements and potty breaks. Alongside that give them lots of cuddles, kisses, playtime, and walks. As for you… I will communicate how your puppy is doing, when I arrive, if any complications arise, and send photos! Your dog is in safe hands. I currently work at a coffee shop a few times a week! My hours usually range from 4-5 hours. So it’s never long enough to leave your puppy for long periods of time. I will always honor your puppies scheduled eating times and potty breaks throughout the day! Pets are so so important! As a caregiver, I want to relieve your stress and allow you to know that your pets are in safe hands! If you would be so kind to welcome me into your home, I can take care of them there. I would prefer to keep your animals where they feel most comfortable. A fenced in backyard is preferred, but taking them out on a walk is no hassle! Provide me with all of the important details on your puppy, and I can provide service towards them! ❤️

About: Growing up, animals were always part of my life. My aunt managed our town’s humane society, so our home was often full of pets and foster animals. I grew up caring for both dogs and cats and have been hands-on with daily care for as long as I can remember. I’m patient, calm, and easygoing, and I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I have experience with everything from playful puppies to senior pets, and I pay close attention to routines, body language, and individual needs to make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I treat every animal like my own. I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and providing loving, stress-free care while you’re away. 🐾 I currently work part-time, which leaves much of my days available to give your pets love and attention. I have a good amount of flexibility, and keep my Rover availability up to date based on my work schedule :) It is important to me for your pets to feel safe and comfortable in their spaces, and I pride myself on being patient, calm, and caring even in the face of stressed or shy animals.
About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
About: Hi! I'm an animal lover who provides attentive, reliable pet care. As the adult account holder and caregiver, I will be responsible for all aspects of your pet's care, including walks, feeding, medication administration (if needed), and supervision. I also have a 10-year-old daughter who loves animals and may occasionally accompany me during walks or visits. Because of this, I ask that pets be comfortable around respectful, animal-savvy children. My daughter's presence is always supervised by me, and your pet's safety and well-being remain my top priority. I look forward to getting to know you and your furry family member! I work long days Mondays through Wednesdays but have more flexibility outside of that. Can accommodate before and after work visits. I love long walks! I cannot care for pets in our home but can come to you! Your pet MUST be kid friendly in case my 10 year old comes with!
About: I’ve petsit for neighbors and family since I can remember and we always had pets at home. I have taken care of puppy litters, German shepherds and even birds! I am in between jobs currently so I have a flexible and open schedule to be available for your fur babies when you can’t be. It’s so fun getting to know different personalities of our pets. I’m very patient and even shy dogs warm up to me quickly. I love showing love with cuddles and taking dogs on adventures.

“Dave is the best! Our Sam just loved him. He was extremely well cared for and honestly the peace of mind knowing your pup is in good hands just can’t be beat. It’s hard to leave your dog when you need to be out of town and I can assure anyone reading this review that your dog will be very well loved if Dave is taking care of them.”

“My dog had the best time staying with Amy when I went on vacation for a week. She took such good care of her and sent so many pics throughout the stay. It was my first time using Rover and I am glad I found Amy because I was assured from day 1 that my dog was in a safe and loving environment. Thank you so much Amy! I hope my upcoming vacation aligns with your available dates so I can bring Maala back again. :)”

She provided lots of updates and communication which meant a lot, and I know the cats were as happy and safe as possible in a new environment. I would recommend Lori!!!”

“This was our first time staying with Terrie and we definitely plan on booking again when we need to! We had to book semi last minute and Terrie was extremely accommodating. During the meet and greet, she gave off a calm level energy and by the end our pup Millie was laying at her feet like she felt right at home. During the stay she kept us update with pics and could tell she was having a blast. At pickup, Millie certainly was excited but also seemed very relaxed. Thanks Ms. Terrie!”

“They were great. I dealt with Kyle since Jacquie was away, probably at work. He was super kind and seemed to love and be very caring of dogs, exactly the type of person I would want caring for mine. He sent plenty of updates and photos. Highly recommend.”
