“Would rate ten stars if we could. We have never had to board our pup for longer than two days and we put our full trust in Timm for our nine day trip. It was also our dog's first experience with a cat and Timm made sure that experience went smoothly. Timm also set up a video call well in advance of our pup's stay to assure us of the other pets he'd be staying with and the home he would be staying at. When we arrived, he ran right up to the house and made himself at home. We got several updates throughout our honeymoon and enjoyed all of the photos and videos. About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

I also have a bit of volunteer experience training service dogs and have taken care of friends' pets while they're away. I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. I love animals and will do everything I can to take care of yours as if they're my own. In a client’s home, I respect their space while providing attentive care, including feeding, fresh water, playtime, walks, litter box cleaning, and plenty of attention! I also pay close attention to pets’ behavior and needs to help create a calm, stress-free environment while their owner is away.
About: I’ve been around animals all my life, including horses and cows so it’s safe to say I am comfortable with pets of all kinds. Im around dogs and cats most of the time these days and I enjoy playing tug-o-war or tease-pole and scratching chins, ears and fluffy butts! A few more things: -Im comfortable helping new puppies/kittens/adoptees learn any house rules and practice manners with positive reinforcement. -Im capable of administering medication with proper instructions. -Im capable of assisting elderly and/or disabled pets with a gentle touch Please reach out with any questions! I’m currently working part time and make my own schedule so I am very flexible. I’d like to take Sundays for myself so I’m not typically available, but I’m open to making special exceptions in an emergency so please reach out if needed. Your pets safety, and comfort is my top priority. I will always strive to not only meet your pets needs but make our time together something your pet looks forward to!

“Would rate ten stars if we could. We have never had to board our pup for longer than two days and we put our full trust in Timm for our nine day trip. It was also our dog's first experience with a cat and Timm made sure that experience went smoothly. Timm also set up a video call well in advance of our pup's stay to assure us of the other pets he'd be staying with and the home he would be staying at. When we arrived, he ran right up to the house and made himself at home. We got several updates throughout our honeymoon and enjoyed all of the photos and videos. We are so grateful for Timm and plan to book with him in the future.”
“I cannot recommend Dave enough! He took such good care of my pup Taco. He sent pics every day and included some details about Taco's stay. I really appreciated Dave's flexibility when my flight home was delayed by six hours--not arriving until 2:30 AM. He was able to keep Taco a bit longer--life saver!
