“Jailene was fantastic with my dog Riley. She sent regular update, photos, and videos. He stayed over the 4th of July holiday, and Jailene had great questions beforehand to make sure he was comfortable.”

“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! This was Zuri's first time staying away from home and Catherine went above and beyond to make her feel at home. Catherine sent daily updates and photos, which were much appreciated, and lots of special treats and special love were given. Zuri also enjoyed having another dog to play with, as she is an only child. I would highly recommend Catherine and will definitely use her again.”

“Eric and Martha are AMAZING!!! Crue and Cali had the best time cuddling up with them, playing in the yard, taking daily walks and more ☀️ I loved the frequent photos and videos to see how much fun they were having. It was such a peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands while we were on vacation. We can’t wait to see them again next time 🥰”

“Kelly and Jim and their family take excellent care of our pup. They have a clean and loving home that gives me confidence my dog will be in a wonderful environment while we're away. Plus their dog has become a great buddy and playmate for our Archie.”

About: About Me & My Family Hi there! We are a lifelong dog-loving family excited to welcome your furry companion into our home. Dogs have been a central part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and we know how important it is to find a safe, loving, and attentive environment for your pup while you're away. When your dog stays with us, they aren't just guest pets—they become part of the family! Why Your Dog Will Love It Here: -Constant Care & Supervision: Both adults in our home work from home full-time. That means your pup will almost never be left alone! They’ll get frequent potty breaks, steady companionship, and plenty of mid-day love. -Spacious & Secure Yard: We have a large, fully fenced-in yard perfect for zoomies, games of fetch, or lounging in the sun safely. -A Built-In Playmate: Our 2.5-year-old, 45 lb mutt mix is super friendly, energetic, and always eager to make new canine friends. If your dog loves to play, they’ll have a fantastic partner in crime! -Kid-Friendly & Loving Atmosphere: Our two kids (ages 8 and 11) have grown up around animals, know how to respect a dog's space, and love giving extra pets and gentle attention. Our Daily Routine & Environment: Because we work from home, our daily schedule is very flexible. A typical day includes: -Morning: Morning stretch and breakfast, followed by supervised yard playtime. -Mid-Day: Periodic breaks out in the yard, desk-side snuggles, and interactive play sessions. -Evening: Family relaxing time indoors, treats, and lots of cozy couch or dog-bed lounging. Important Notes for Guest Dogs: To make sure everyone has a safe and happy stay, we ask that guest dogs meet a few basic requirements: -Cat & Dog Compatibility: We have two resident cats and one playful dog. Guests should be comfortable around cats (or happy to ignore them) and enjoy playing or peacefully coexisting with other dogs. -House-Trained & Vaccinated: Up-to-date vaccinations and basic house-training are required to keep all our pets healthy and safe. We’d love to host a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a perfect match for everyone. We look forward to meeting you and your pup! Our Daily Routine & Environment: Because we work from home, our daily schedule is very flexible. “They were the most amazing family to have watch our two dogs. We reached out with very short notice and they took them in right away. They gave us updates every day and always sent pictures. Best family on Rover!”

“Terrie responded to my booking request right away and we met her the next day. I was impressed at how she let my pup explore and engaged with her on her own time. My pup had a blast and I knew Terrie was attentive and caring while she was with her. I would definitely use her again!”

“Sarah was great! She was able to watch Diesel within a VERY short notice from another sitter. (Diesel is not neutered and wanted to make babies with her dog) sarah arranged to pick up Diesel and took care of him. He was walked and could tell he had a good time because when we got him home he sprawled onto the floor tired lol. She took him on walks, played catch, cuddles and told me about his eating/bowel movements. She also sent pics while he was with her! I will definitely book with her again!”

“I’m really happy with my decision to trust Loraine with cat sitting. She loves cats and is very knowledgeable about them. She is super friendly and accommodating, and by the time I left after drop off I felt like my cats would feel very comfortable! She provided lots of updates and communication which meant a lot, and I know the cats were as happy and safe as possible in a new environment. I would recommend Lori!!!”

I am able to take them for walks around the neighborhood or relax and chill on the couch.
“Buddy enjoyed his stay! Great fenced in yard to run and play with the other dogs. We appreciated getting pictures and updates while we were away. Buddy came home ready to nap after having so much fun! Will definitely stay again. Thank you! Carrie & Dan”

“Luke was a great dog sitter for Tanner and Bruno. He sent pictures provided updates and was really looking out for the dogs. Would definitely hire him again. Thank you!!”

“Tobi had a great time with Brooklyn and her family. He loved their little girl and got along great with their gentle Bernese Mountain Dog. I received updates once or twice a day with cute photos. Brooklyn was accommodating of my request to change the pickup time. We look forward to having Tobi stay with Brooklyn again.”

“Susan and Craig did an amazing job watching my dog Odie for 2 weeks while I was in Thailand. They were on top of everything providing him all the exercise and love that he needs. “Wesley was fantastic with our dog while for four nights of boarding. He was exceptionally good at communicating, sending updaters with photos, and making us feel at ease even though we hadn’t worked with Wesley before. It was so lovely to pick our pup up from Wesley where he was smiling and clearly well cared for! We will definitely ask Wesley to help again in the future.”

“Our pug LOVED his 4-day stay with Brenda and her family! Our little guy got along great with her two pit bulls and really bonded with their little boy. The dogs played and ran together in the fenced in yard. Our pug came home happy and ready to nap. Each day, I received a couple of photos with a brief update which I appreciated. This was a short-notice booking, and I am so grateful that Brenda was available. We will definitely arrange dog-sitting with Brenda in the future.”

“I took a "mini" vacation to Florida a couple weeks ago. My Havenees Poodle mix "Jackson" bonded with Judy immediately. All he wanted to do was be around her & beg for attention & belly scratches. Judy followed the meal plan & even took him to Mcdonalds (at my request) so he could have some French ? Fries! He LOVES their fries! Judy would send a picture of Jackson each day & I really enjoyed seeing his smiling face. Judy also has a big back yard for "doggie exercise" There were no issues or concerns whatsoever. When I came back from my vacation, my Jackson was in good health & was wagging his tail. Judy is great. I will definitely ? use her in the future. One word of warning...her schedule fills up FAST! I give Judy 5 out of 5 stars.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Anthony
Lori was amazing with our Goldendoodle Emmy. Our dog was on two different medications at the time and Lori handled that with ease. She always sent updates on what they were doing! Emmy is very prone to stress and Lori gave her so much love and attention that I think Emmy would have stayed even longer! I really appreciate the love and care Lori gave our baby.

Our dog had such a good time with Frances and her dog Luna that I am not sure he wanted to go home! Frances also sent us lots of updates and pictures and she really has thought of everything with logistics. We will definitely be looking her up in the future! It is so much easier to leave your dog when you know they are going to have an amazing time!

Jana and her family were SO incredible! I left my dog and my cat with them for over two weeks, and I was so reassured to know they were in the best of hands, especially because I got so many updates and pictures. My dog had an absolute blast with lots of love, walks, and play time, but the real testament to Jana and her family’s care is my cat: she can be standoffish and warms up slowly to new people, but she let them pet her a little bit and played with them occasionally, which is a huge compliment from her! Absolutely would recommend them to anyone looking for their animals to be in good, loving hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
