“I was on a vacation for 2 weeks to overseas with my whole family (two 7 months old twin infants and my husband) and had to find a dependable sitter to care for my yorkie, Conan. We usually take Conan with us wherever we go, but it was not an option this time as our hands are full with our infant twins. Since Conan does not have much experience staying in other homes and other people, we were quite nervous if he is going to be fine during the two weeks. This was the longest time he was ever separated from us. He is also very shy with strangers and not very social. All these meant that we really needed to find a perfect sitter for Conan so he does not get stressed out during the two weeks. I searched Rover and found Terrie. Since Conan does not get along well with other dogs, we were looking a sitter not owning a pet. Another criteria that had to meet was a fenced yard. And the most important one, good reviews! All these limits directed me to Terrie. I can only say good things about Terrie. She was sending multiple pictures and video clips every day. Those pictures were showing how Conan was doing, not just a profile picture. I was so worried that he would be nervous and not get along with Terrie, but I was so wrong! He was playing with his toys just like he does at our home, he slept with Terrie in her bed, he got cuddled a lot, basically got all love he needed. He even got territorial and assumed every person come into Terrie's house is a intruder and got into a "guard dog" mode. He does that when only he feels home and comfortable. So I was very happy that he was having great time, get a daily walk, get attention, and lots of love. Conan stayed one night at Terrie's 1 wk prior to the long stay and I think it helped much him to get comfortable. Conan is not an easy dog to handle except for his tiny size. Despite his behavior problems, Terrie and her family were very patient with him and gave him lots of love. She is really a terrific dog sitter. I absolutely loved all pictures she sent. She is very reliable, dog loving, and nice person. If you are looking for a loving, kind, patient, dependable dog sitter for your four-legged furry baby, Terries is the one. For any future trips I will use her again!”
About: My husband and I have always had cats or dogs in her home. We are comfortable with most medications and typical pet behavior. Beyond our experience as long time pet owners, we have adopted rescues, fostered sibling puppies and pet sat for friends and relatives. Many of our photos are of the late and great Watson, my best boy. Please ask specific questions if needed. Between my husband and I, we are generally flexible during the daytime and commonly work from home. Ideally, we plan to schedule pet sitting on days when we can be available at home with your pet. We are generally home in the evenings with early bedtimes. I would not expect pets to be home alone for more than 4 hours at a time. We have a generally busy home with young children ranging from toddler to preteen. We would hope that your pet would be prepared for this level of chaos and attention. We have a fenced backyard. We prefer well trained visitors without escape artist tendencies. Our family has decided now is not the best time to permanently add a pet into our home and are exploring pet sitting an outlet for animal love and abundant cuddles. “If I could give Ken 10 stars, I would!! I was a little nervous about leaving my dog during a longer vacation, but figured I’d give Ken and rover a try. We had a meet and greet with Ken prior to the booking and he kindly showed us around his doggy safe and clean home. Ken put us at ease and provided phenomenal care for our dog while we were away. Ken provided updates and pictures throughout our trip which was nice and comforting. Our miniature poodle is full of energy and loves attention— I’m pretty sure Ken went above and beyond to meet our dog’s needs (walks, cuddles, play/fetch etc.). About: My husband and I grew up with pets. Now that we have 3 children of our own, we'd like to help out with others' pets until we're ready for our own. We've had one cat for a couple of years but we'd love to welcome a dog into our home at some point. I work part-time and our kids are done with school at 2p. We'll have lots of time to love on your pets all afternoon, evening, overnight, and most weekends! We have a good sized fenced in yard to play in on nice days. We have indoor space to explore or can crate your pet if that's what they need. We also have capacity to close pets into separate areas if they're struggling to get along.

Jana and her family were SO incredible! I left my dog and my cat with them for over two weeks, and I was so reassured to know they were in the best of hands, especially because I got so many updates and pictures. My dog had an absolute blast with lots of love, walks, and play time, but the real testament to Jana and her family’s care is my cat: she can be standoffish and warms up slowly to new people, but she let them pet her a little bit and played with them occasionally, which is a huge compliment from her! Absolutely would recommend them to anyone looking for their animals to be in good, loving hands.
Pamela was an excellent sitter. Communicating before and during the stay was quick and timely. She sent photos and videos, as well as administering an allergy pill each day. I knew my dog was safe and in good care and I never had any concerns. I would highly recommend Pamela.
