About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!

About: I’v had 2 cats, a german sheaperd & a husky mix. I also lived with both cats & dogs while with roommates & of course have been around many pets of family & friend’s. Currently, I have an elder pitbull named Ladybird with my partner. I am a big home-body who helps care for disabled people few times of week in the evening (usually 4pm-9pm). Other than that, I am usually available short notice & have plenty of time for check-ins to work with you & your pet. -Will always keep leashed when out -Understands pets come with many different personalities & will try to adapt to offer them the most comfort. I know it’s not any easy time for your pets or you to be away from eachother.

I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to providing loving, consistent care that pet owners can trust. Since moving to Minneapolis and currently having some free time. I have dedicated my time/availability to pet care and sitting at any day and time! For clients home I provide consistent, attentive pet sitting by following their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, daily walks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship to keep pets calm and comfortable in their own environment. I also administer medication if needed, monitor behavior for any changes, and ensure water bowls are always fresh and full. I keep the home tidy by cleaning up after pets and respecting your space. Regular updates with photos and messages help keep owners reassured while they’re away.

About: I have had my own dog since I was 4. I also have been a dog sitter for many of my neighbors for years. I have experience with frequent visits during the day and overnight sitting. I’ve also had experience with special conditions such as giving medication and caring for pets who are ill. For example, my dog needs ear drops and allergy medication, so I have experience with those types of medication specifically. I also have experience cat sitting and caring for other pets, like small rodents or snakes. Currently I am working full time, hybrid, with two days in the office. I’m available for visits during the mornings and afternoons/nights during the week or weekend. I will be more available during the holiday season as well and can sit for an extended period of time if you are on vacation. I have a cat at home so I cannot provide home services, but I am available for house sitting! I have done many extended stays and have the luxury of working from home, so if your pet needs to stick to their schedule, I can be there.

About: I have grown up having cats, and have experience caring for dogs since I was a child. I am happy to bathe and give medications to non - aggressive animals. I am best available after 5 pm on weekdays, and carried available on the weekends. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with owners. Unless noted the pet does well with other pets/ dog parks I will keep the pets away from other pets. I care greatly for your pets safety.

About: I’m an Animal Care Technician working for my CVT. I am CPR trained for dogs/cats. I foster cats and volunteer at humane societies. I have experience in medicine, disabilities and restrictions. I have had cat and dog litters ( and I can handle the mess! Haha!) I love to provide healthy treat options and enrichment for animals. Ask about a free nail trim!! I want to enjoy the weather so walks will be long and enjoyable! I’m close to a dog park too! I foster but sometimes that is unpredictable with when they will be adopted so I am looking for more of a schedule. I encourage play and lick/treat enrichment to tire out the free loaders for a long nap and cuddles. My dogs go outside 2/3 times a day but if your baby needs more I am happy to do so! This time can also be used for simple training or combing ( we don’t do it enough). I encourage independent play, co-playing and group playing. Some dogs don't like sharing and I get it!
