Family fun, puppy cuddles, & play!
We are a family of four who love dogs! We care for guest dogs as through they are our own. Dogs get plenty of time outside, and lots of love throughout the day. Daily walks, games of fetch, frequent belly rubs, and regular ear scratches await your pup. We care for dogs of all ages, and are experienced with senior dogs, dogs with special diets and needs, and oral meds. Your dog will have a blast hanging out in our home! Our neighborhood is walkable and we have parks nearby. We have a 3 foot fence in our back yard. If your pup needs extra space to be comfortable, we can make sure they have it. If your dog needs a extra play, we can meet that need! If your dog is low on energy, or likes their space - we have it! We have cared for dogs who like to watch the family activity from the couch or a dog bed. We set up dog beds throughout the house for dogs to be close if they want. There are clever cave-like spaces (i.e. tables) where dogs like to lay down and nap while our family is hanging out. We also are comfortable with dogs who like the familiarity of their kennel throughout the day or for sleep. Our kids are are ages 9 and 11 and have lived with dogs their whole life. They are flexible and gentle with animals, and have experience dog and cat sitting for our neighbors. Importantly, the kids love to have dogs nearby and are always up for giving a quick snuggle. Weekends (or non-school days) find our family at home or doing quick trips around town. I am currently working from home and love to have pups as my office mates Monday - Friday. We will communicate with you ahead of time if there is a day we would both need to be in the office to make a plan for what works for your dog. We found a lot of joy caring for guest dogs in our home after our beloved family pet passed away. We love the fun and silliness that guest dogs bring to our lives. With two grownups and two kids who love dogs, your pup will be in good hands! We look forward to meeting you and your pup!

This was the third time we asked Megan and Michael to care for our dog Simba while we were traveling. They have a cute and sweet small dog and a fenced backyard to run and play in. We got a lot of nice pictures emailed to us.. In addition, there are two school age daughters to play with Simba.

Megan, Michael, and their wonderful daughters are absolutely amazing! My pup LOVES going to their home to stay and I know she gets the best care. Megan is so responsive, flexible, and sends the best updates. I can’t say enough how great they are.
Megan and Michael are wonderful! We have a complicated pup, but they’ve always met all of his needs and made him feel comfortable. They’re our first choice when we need a pup sitter.
Megan and Michael are outstanding pet caregivers. This was Simba's second time staying with this family, which includes two lovely daughters. This time Simba stayed with them for 20 days while my husband and I were on a trip. Now this family includes an adorable Shih-tzu (Augie) who is about two years old. We had a meet and greet last Oct. and the two dogs had a great time playing. While we were away, we got lots of messages with photos from Megan and Michael, which illustrated that Simba was well cared for and having a great time playing with Augie or sleeping side by side with him. He also got nice lap time with family members. Whenever we looked at the pictures Simba looked content. He was very happy to see us when we picked him up after we arrived home in the evening. However, the next morning he seemed to be missing Augie. He soon starting exploring all parts or our house and playing with his toys and has settled into his routines at our home.
Megan and her family are absolutely WONDERFUL. My pup Lily loves going to their home. They keep her active, snuggled, and cared for. Megan sends great updates, so I never have to worry about Lily when she's there. Best sitters ever!

Dates de la garde
Caring for pets is something we enjoy to do as a family. Your pet may join zoom calls (if I'm working from home that day), lounge in the shade while I garden, or join a family movie night. I will be heading back to the classroom Monday - Thursday, and working from home on Fridays when school starts this fall, so we are available for school breaks and weekends (Thursday evening - Sunday evening). If your furry friend is okay to stay at home during working hours, please reach out with a message and we can see if a stay would work that includes days I go to campus. On days I go to campus, your pup would have a morning walk, afternoon play, and an after dinner walk. Due to our varying school and work schedules, your pup would likely be home along for no more than 6 hours on a day we all have school / work.

Our home is set up with lots of spaces for dogs to be with us, or take a snooze break in quiet. We keep "cozy corners" in most rooms. If your dog has a special bed or a crate, please bring it along. We can fit them into the room that makes sense for your dog. We have a fenced in back yard, and can also block spots of our house if that helps your dog feel safe.

Mornings your dog will get some outside time, and cuddles to start the day. If it is a week day, your dog may be there to take some zoom calls, or sleep right though them beside us! Weekend days are full of fun, and if your dog likes in on the action, there will be plenty of play time inside and out!
