WFH Dog Family | Big Fenced Yard

About Me & My Family Hi there! We are a lifelong dog-loving family excited to welcome your furry companion into our home. Dogs have been a central part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and we know how important it is to find a safe, loving, and attentive environment for your pup while you're away. When your dog stays with us, they aren't just guest pets—they become part of the family! Why Your Dog Will Love It Here: -Constant Care & Supervision: Both adults in our home work from home full-time. That means your pup will almost never be left alone! They’ll get frequent potty breaks, steady companionship, and plenty of mid-day love. -Spacious & Secure Yard: We have a large, fully fenced-in yard perfect for zoomies, games of fetch, or lounging in the sun safely. -A Built-In Playmate: Our 2.5-year-old, 45 lb mutt mix is super friendly, energetic, and always eager to make new canine friends. If your dog loves to play, they’ll have a fantastic partner in crime! -Kid-Friendly & Loving Atmosphere: Our two kids (ages 6 and 12) have grown up around animals, know how to respect a dog's space, and love giving extra pets and gentle attention. Our Daily Routine & Environment: Because we work from home, our daily schedule is very flexible. A typical day includes: -Morning: Morning stretch and breakfast, followed by supervised yard playtime. -Mid-Day: Periodic breaks out in the yard, desk-side snuggles, and interactive play sessions. -Evening: Family relaxing time indoors, treats, and lots of cozy couch or dog-bed lounging. Important Notes for Guest Dogs: To make sure everyone has a safe and happy stay, we ask that guest dogs meet a few basic requirements: -Cat & Dog Compatibility: We have two resident cats and one playful dog. Guests should be comfortable around cats (or happy to ignore them) and enjoy playing or peacefully coexisting with other dogs. -House-Trained & Vaccinated: Up-to-date vaccinations and basic house-training are required to keep all our pets healthy and safe. We’d love to host a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a perfect match for everyone. We look forward to meeting you and your pup!

We can’t recommend Laura and her son, Mason, highly enough for pet sitting! They’ve looked after our two cats on several occasions, and every single time we’ve come home to happy, well-cared-for kitties. Laura and Mason are incredibly responsible and reliable — they always follows instructions to the letter and keep us updated with photos and texts throughout the stay. Mason (son) has such a gentle, caring way with animals, and it’s clear our cats feel completely at ease with him. Communication was fantastic from start to finish; they asked thoughtful questions beforehand and kept us in the loop the whole time. If you’re looking for sitters who genuinely love and respect your pets like their own, look no further!”

Laura and her family are incredible dog owners! Active, thoughtful, playful, and planful for the puppers needs. Their own puppy and the training techniques they used inspired us to get our own dog! Their space is large (indoor and outdoor) and the backyard is fenced with plenty of room to run. The household has two lovely tweens who will give bonus love and affection.

Kids are both in soccer and if there’s a game, dogs will likely get some rest at home while we are gone. Otherwise home to supervise and play.

Cat & Dog Compatibility: We have two resident cats and one playful dog with a large fenced in yard. Guests should be comfortable around cats (or happy to ignore them) and enjoy playing or peacefully coexisting with other dogs. Our dog is crate trained and sleeps there each night. Happy to crate as well. We have a separate guest space for dogs who want a bit more space to relax in an unfamiliar place.
