Growing up in a pet-loving family, I had the joy of bonding with cats and dogs alike, and now I have a sweet pup of my own who continues to teach me every day. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to wise seniors—and have some training experience that helps me connect with each pet’s unique needs and personality. To me, animals are the most precious beings, and they deserve more than just basic care—they deserve to be loved, respected, and pampered. About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.

About: I have had cats and dogs in my household my entire life, I take care of them at home and also for many neighbors, and they continue to request my services. I love Animals I take car of the pets in our house and enjoy hanging out with them on a daily basis. I watch pets in our neighborhood almost every week as our neighbors have come to enjoy and rely on my pet care services I have watched pets in my home but have additionally visited neighbors and stayed at their home to watch pets overnight. I am comfortable caring for pets in any of these enviroments.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and I love them both! It was always my job to take the dog for walks and feed the pets everyday. I have watched a variety of dogs from great dane to chihuahua. I am currently searching for a job which leave me free pretty much all the time to hang out with your animals! I am available both weekdays and weekends for house sitting, drop in visits, or a walk. I have watched escape artist dogs in the past and have learned to keep an eye on them at all times! My parents dog is also quite reactive and I have learned how to best help her when seeing other dogs on a walk.

About: I have taken care of family/friends pets for 3 years and enjoy spending time with dogs/cats! I will provide your pet with loving care and keep them content while you are away! I am available overnight on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. I am not as available during the week as I have class Monday through Friday. However, if it’s a week in advance I may be available for a few hours on weekdays (not overnight). I send detailed updates and high quality photos as frequently as you would like. I treat your pet as if they are my own and always endure a safe and comfortable environment for them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old whether it was helping the neighbors, family friends, or watching my own while my parents were out of town! I’m a huge lover of animals and understand they are a huge part of everyone’s family. I currently live with a dog and a cat so I have experience with both. I also have two family dogs! Ava is a German shepherd/Aussie and Wippy is a chocolate lab. A little bit about me- I decided to join this app to make some extra money on the side. My normal job is working as an assistant director at a tutoring company. I graduated from the UMN with a degree in psychology and am currently in OT school at the U. I can’t wait to meet you and of course your fur babies 😊 I currently work from home for my main job. I will be starting clinical in September for OT school that will be about 7-3pm M-F in Minnetonka I cannot have dogs in my home due to my lease. However, my parents allow me to watch dogs at their home that has a huge fenced in yard! They do not currently have other pets but love all animals. When watching the dog at your home, whether you’re in a fenced in home or apartment I am willing to adapt to that environment and give your animals the exercise, love, and attention they need.

I've cared for my own dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, and birds for over 40 years, so I understand the daily routines, quirks, and needs of all kinds of companions. I'm especially attuned to dogs and cats—I read their body language exceptionally well and know what they're "saying. "For example, a slow blink from a cat is their way of saying "I love you," while a soft "mee mee" often means "come here." With dogs, I always approach respectfully: letting them sniff my open palm first (never reaching over their head, as it can feel dominant), then gently petting the shoulder and down the side. Energy matters so much—staying calm, happy, and positive helps even anxious pets relax quickly. I have a whole "warehouse" of these insights from years of close observation, and I love using them to build trust and joy. I'm reliable, patient, and genuinely excited to care for your pets as if they were my own. I'll play with them, give plenty of love and cuddles, follow your instructions to a T, and make sure they feel at home. Being away from your furry family is tough—I get it, and I'll do my best to keep things feeling normal and happy for them (and send you lots of updates and pictures so you can see for yourself!). I can provide most of the same loving care as other sitters—feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, toy fun, and house check-ins—but due to some mobility limits, I focus on shorter, gentle walks (up to about 15 minutes) or indoor/outdoor potty time and enrichment instead of longer neighborhood strolls. This works wonderfully for calmer dogs, seniors, smaller breeds, or cats who prefer cozy companionship. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's energy level and needs! A typical day We'll start with feeding, fresh water, and a gentle potty break or short walk if your pet enjoys it. About: I have experience with several long-term dog-sitting jobs, caring for dogs for multiple days and extended periods of time. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including different shedding levels, daily walks, playtime, feeding, and keeping up with their routines. I’m a genuine animal lover and love making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet like family and want you to feel confident knowing your furry friend is in good hands! If this is specifically for an over-night pup I would ask if it is possible to be accompanied by a friend that can also meet prior as it would make me more comfortable. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule! I only have one class a day during the week and work part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 4–8 PM. My weekends are completely open, and I have plenty of availability to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. About: Your baby or babies are in great hands with us! I'm an animal lover with a history of helping people take care of their fur babies. I am also more than willing and able to pick up your baby or babies if you'd like. I've had dogs and/or cats most of my life. My friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to take care of their fur babies of varying ages, breeds, species and needs for many years. One even had 2 cats, 2 dogs and a ferret. I have about 5 years of experience fostering puppies, with the biggest litter being 5 pups and the youngest being 3 weeks. I love animals and enjoy having fun and playing with them at home, as well as walking them and going to the dog park so they can socialize and run and play with other dogs. I have administered meds both orally and by injection to both dogs and cats. I've also had a cat once that I nursed, because he was about a week old when I got him and kept him. I currently have a full time job, usually working 8-9 hours a day 4 days a week, but my partner is available to be here on days I'm at work while I transition to dog sitting full time. I have a fenced yard and a dog at home that's sweet and gets along well with other dogs. I have plenty of room to run around and play inside also. My pup has lots of toys and is good about sharing them. She's not food aggressive. We enjoy going for walks and do our best to go to the dog park every day for extra exercise and socializing. I know how to give medicine orally and by injection as I have done both in the past.
