“Katelyn was great! Her communication was always quick and friendly. She was flexible the day of our outing which we greatly appreciated. She sent lots of great photos and we knew our 4 dogs were well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

“Anna took very good care of our cat while we were out of town. She sent great pictures and notes about how she was doing, and was quick to respond. Thank you Anna!”

“Tiffany accepted an urgent, last minute drop-in to take Bear for a walk and I am so grateful she did! She was responsive, communicative and I will definitely use her services again.”

“Elizabeth was a fantastic sitter for our 19 year old cat. She was happy and content when we arrived home. She is usually anxiety ridden even when left for several hours. Elizabeth is a cat whisperer. Thank you so very much. Think Sienna misses her.”

About: ✨️🐶 Please continue to read my profile (including availability and pricing sections) before requesting a meet & greet I have always loved and cared about the welfare of animals ever since I can remember, and even had several different pets of my own growing up that I cared for, including a couple of dogs (one of which lived to be 17 years old!). I have past experience with volunteering at organisations such as the SPCA (providing care for cats, dogs, and rabbits) and caring for cats at AniMall Cat Clinic. I have helped several close ones and neighbours thoroughout the years with pet care needs for their dogs and cats, which included: feeding, walking, providing transportation to veterinary appointments, and spending quality time with the pets, just giving them affection or playing games such as fetch/tug of war. I have experience with caring for breeds that are reactive to other dogs (but still love the company of humans), and with breeds that are often subject to housing or insurance restrictions, some of which have included: Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Huskies, Dobermans, and American Bullies. I focus on understanding each dog's individual temperament, communication style, and needs. I am also experienced in administering medication to both dogs and cats in oral, injectable, and topical forms. 🐾 I require a meet and greet with all new/first time clients before officially booking a house sitting. Please know that a stay is considered confirmed only after the meet and greet is completed, the booking has been mutually agreed upon, and has been officially booked through Rover. For longer stays (especially longer than 1 week), I would recommend you to reach out once you've fully decided that in-home care through Rover is the option you'd like to pursue. 🐾 Please also note that I do work M-F full time, excluding major holidays. For house sits that fall on weekdays, my standard on days that I am working onsite is to provide care mornings before work, evenings after work, and of course, stay overnight in the home. On the days that I am required to be onsite (which I communicate with pet parents), my ability to provide midday breaks is limited, and only available if my schedule and commute allow. For walks and drop ins in particular, I would be a great choice for pet parents that need care in evenings, nights, and weekends. I will listen to/observe your pet's body language and demeanour before approaching, and will always interact with them gently and kindly. On walks and out in the yard, I always use a leash or harness to keep the pet safe. Furthermore, I always strive to keep an eye out for any potential hazards to pets while they are in my care, whether that is something that spilled on the floor, or an unfamiliar object in the yard, and will always act swiftly to remove the hazard so your pet will be out of harm's way. I believe good pet care includes planning for the unexpected, so I like to establish emergency contacts, veterinary/animal hospital information, and contingency plans with every client before a stay (and preferably have these included in written directions too).
“Chloe was a superb dog sitter! We are so grateful she could stop in to care for our senior dog when we needed extra support. Would totally have Chloe back again.”

“Allison was great. She was very attentive to my cat and she was very understanding of the needs of a senior cat. I got regular updates and pictures and Allison put my cat, and me, very much at ease.”

“Shel did an amazing job stopping in while I was on vacation. She made sure to keep posted on how my cat was doing and gave my very social cat the attention he needed while I was gone. Will absolutely use again when I need someone checking on my cat.”

“Elizabeth always goes above and beyond to care for our dogs. You can tell this is her priority above all else, and always ensures they are safe and taken care of. 10/5 would recommend”

“Jill was absolutely wonderful with my cat while I was out of town. She took care of his medication & was so attentive during her visits. Franklin had a great time with Jill!”

“Heather is an amazing petsitter! Our dog immediately decided Heather is her new BFF and loved her instantly! Heather came to our house to hang out with Holly and sent us pictures and updates. Heather was easy to talk to and really cares about animals. If you need someone to care for your pet, Heather is your person!”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. Ciboney is so incredible- we have two cats and fish and lots of plants. She’s so communicative and kind! We’re so grateful to have her take care of our little ones❤️”

“Leann was punctual for the appointed times to feed our kitty (and our kitty loves to be fed on time). She sent lots of cute photos letting us know our cat was eating well. She was caring and our kitty cat was in good spirits upon our return.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Arden Hills
My dog Pepper loved Tyler. Being a Patterdale Terrier she can sometimes be "distant" to new people but the images Tyler included in the Rover card taken during his walks with her show she was enjoying his company. Tyler was reliable and felt totally relaxed know he was taking care of her.

Cari did a great job during a drop in with Honey! She was able to let her out twice and get her to take her meds even though she is anxious and wary of people coming into the house. Cari is a great communicator too! I would definitely recommend her and plan to use her again.

Another great experience with Amanda! We have a new rescue Corgi with some quirks and Amanda came every day during our vacation for walk/potty breaks and did a great job getting to know Reggie. She was flexible when it was too hot or smokey and just spent time with him in the yard, which was wonderful! She sent detailed updates and great pictures so I know he was well taken care of!

Ava was really amazing. She was very professional, and above all she was very thoughtful, kind and caring with our senior with special needs dog. She met with us prior to our scheduled drop ins so she was familiar with Cole’s needs and routines. She was an exceptional communicator, sending pictures and updating us with how things were going, and very understanding with our shy senior dog. We would highly recommend her and definitely look forward to using her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Arden Hills with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
