About: I do not currently have a cat but I have lived with cats most of my life. Inside only, and in/out cats. I understand that cats do things on their own time but I also know that sometimes cats need pills or claws clipped for their own good. I love petting and brushing and also have no problem letting them be who they are and leaving them alone until they’re ready to be friends.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. Our family dog was the same age as me, so I truly grew up side by side with a pet and learned what it means to care for an animal through every stage of life from the beginning to the end. I started pet sitting for family friends back in junior high, and I grew up helping care for our own cats and dog in my parent’s house. While in college, I had roommates with cats which I enjoyed and would frequently pet sit for my godparents and other friends as well. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention and love they need while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I currently have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a variety of bookings. In the coming weeks, I will be working Monday through Friday from 8:00–4:30, but I will still be available for pet care after work on weekdays, as well as available on weekends. About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

Her dog, Tabby, was a part of our little roomie family and my roommate could rely on me to help out with daily care needs (i.e. watching her when she went on trips, feeding, walking, potty breaks, play time, etc.) I am now missing the presence of a fur baby in my life and would love to opportunity to work with your dog this summer and beyond. I am a kind, caring and responsible individual who you can rely on to treat your dog as if it were my own. I'm currently working part time so I have a fairly flexible schedule. I am free full time for weekend sitting Saturday-Monday. I also am free during the day some Wednesdays and every Friday. I have evening availability every weeknight except Friday. I am happy to abide by any house rules you have for your dog (i.e. furniture rules, crating, etc.) While I can't host dogs in my own home due to landlord restrictions, if I were to come into your home I would treat it as my own and leave it how I found it. I am happy to provide companionship, feeding, walks, or potty breaks depending on your needs.
About: I have had two dogs in my life but have been the “best aunt ever” for many of my brothers and friends dogs. I understand that not all dogs are the same, they have their preferences, their likes/dislikes, and their levels of activity and stimulus. As a sitter I believe it’s important to keep up with the pets regular routine as much as possible by following the rules established by their owners. I love to spoil a dog and take them on more walks and more cuddles than normal because when owners/parents are on vacation i want the pet to have a fun vacation as well. I currently don’t have any pets so am able to care for the animal that needs to be an “only pet”. But I have friends and neighbors with dogs so I also have a way to help they socialize. I work a full time job but can do it from anywhere with internet. My job is pretty flexible so if I need to walk a dog at a certain time or have a cat sit on my lap all day I can usually make that work. I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of fun smells. Most of the yard is five+ feet fence but some is a traditional chainlink fence. We have a magnetic screen on the back door so when the weather is nice we have the option of opening the door so the dog and go in and out as much as they want. We also have a full door that can be closed if the pet needs someone with them when in the yard.
