About: I do not currently have a cat but I have lived with cats most of my life. Inside only, and in/out cats. I understand that cats do things on their own time but I also know that sometimes cats need pills or claws clipped for their own good. I love petting and brushing and also have no problem letting them be who they are and leaving them alone until they’re ready to be friends.

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. I love animals and will do everything I can to take care of yours as if they're my own. Let's discuss medical needs before booking, and I will make sure I have your vet's information in case of emergencies. I require a meet & greet for first time bookings. This is a complimentary visit to meet your animals, learn the routines, and ask each other any questions we need to make sure they get the best care.
About: I grew up with animals and have never lived in a home without at least one! I have extensive knowledge and experience with senior diabetic dog care and adhere strictly to diet, activity level and have years of medication injection, and general medication giving experience. I also have personal experience with special needs dogs who may be blind, deaf, or hard-of-hearing. Available every day of the week. I live with 3 cats and am currently open to services outside of my home. Very flexible this summer. Currently offering overnight pet sitting in your home, drop-ins and walks. I currently have a part time job but am planning to do full time school in the fall. I will have time outside of classes, and plenty of time over the summer, to care and play with your pets! I will try to get to know your pet as best I can. I am flexible and willing to snuggle, play, go on walks or look out the window with your furry friend. About: I am 31 years old and have taken care of pets for as long as two months to weekends. I have spent the most time with dogs of varying sizes as well as cats. I usually watch pets in the summer when I am not working as a teacher. The most pets I have done at a time is four, two dogs, a cat and duck for two months. I have summers off as a teacher! I end my days at 2:30pm and am single and available to help out most weekends as well! I am very attentive to keeping a house tidy and providing quality care to animals. I have to members of my family who are vets and am saving money to be a pet owner myself. I will not care for animals in my home at this time.
