About: I have had two dogs in my life but have been the “best aunt ever” for many of my brothers and friends dogs. I understand that not all dogs are the same, they have their preferences, their likes/dislikes, and their levels of activity and stimulus. As a sitter I think they key thing is to keep up with their regular routines and following the rules established by their owners. I love to spoil a dog and take them on more walks and more cuddles than normal because when owners/parents are on vacation it can also be a vacation for the dog(s). But if a dog needs specific guidelines and rules then it’s more important to keep up with their routines because routine is so important for pets! I work a full time job from anywhere with internet. My job is pretty flexible so if I need to walk a dog at a certain time or have a cat sit on my lap all day I can usually make that work. I also don’t currently have any pets so pets can also stay in my house if that’s more comfortable for the owners. I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of fun smells. Half the yard is five feet fence but some is a shorter chainlink fence. We have a magnetic screen on the back door that pets can go from inside to out which we can have open so they have full range of the yard or we can close it so we can be with them when they go out.
“Xinia has been a blessing in my life! Bingo is so lucky to have an amazing walker that goes out of her way to ensure my bingo is well taken care of and most importantly she makes sure my bingo is loved! Xinia has been very patient with my bingo as it takes her time to trust new people, but Xinia has done and outstanding job being patient & caring towards her. I would recommend her to anybody that’s looking for a a sitter, or a walker! 12/10 from me!”

“Robert is absolutely amazing! It has made a huge difference in me and my dogs lives and training. I am super busy, but he is great with working around my schedule and leaving detailed reviews/updates for me to review later. I have a hard time trusting people with my baby but his incredible growth has helped me immensely.”

“Jennifer is our hero! She helped us take care of our elderly mother's dog, Aussie, while she was in Hospice. Jennifer walked Aussie three times a day and Aussie loved her! I would highly recommend Jennifer -- she is caring, communicative and always bright and cheery!”
“Highly recommend! Although our dog was nervous at first, Nate spent extra time getting our puppy to trust him. They had a wonderful walk together. We would book again!”

“Gretchen is the best! She accommodates our last minute requests, is flexible with our schedule and takes such good care of our dog, Ruby. Ruby is very high energy and she always comes back tired and happy from her walks with Gretchen. She loves loves loves her time with Gretchen and our lives have become simpler knowing we have a great option to come be with Ruby.”

“Amanda is the best! My girls or rescues and very people selective. She is so patient with them and really got them to warm up and come out of their shells. Definitely recommend for anyone with anxious or stressed dogs!”

About: Hi, I’m Destiny! I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember—growing up on a farm in North Dakota, I was always surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. From feeding bottle calves to walking dogs, animal care has been a natural part of my daily life since childhood. Now, as a third-year veterinary student at the University of Minnesota, I’ve combined my lifelong love for animals with professional training. Whether your pet is high-energy, laid-back, senior, or needs special care, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after while you’re away. While I am watching your pet, they can expect lots of play and/or relaxation time, whatever they enjoy. I have a passion for brushing dogs and removing all that excess hair, so if your pet needs a good brush, I am your gal. I also love to be outside and go for walks, so if your special pet enjoys walks, I am game. Every pet's needs and likes are different, and I can't wait to tailor their time with me to fit their preferences, whether it’s at my house or yours! Dogs have a special place in my heart, but I love all animals and will treat your pets like my own! I can't wait to meet your furry family members! As a veterinary student, my schedule can be a little chaotic, but the good news is, I live less than a mile from campus, which gives me a lot of flexibility. On the rare days I have class from 8 to 5, I can still come home over my lunch break to check in on your pet. Most days, though, I'm only on campus for 4–5 hours, and I’m often able to attend classes or meetings remotely via Zoom. That means I can usually be around for walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company throughout the day. I do my best to stay communicative and flexible to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve! Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority, whether they're staying with me or I'm caring for them in your home.I have been caring for animals my entire life and have dedicated myself to this work. I have always had a variety of pets, including horses, dogs, cats, and hamsters, which has given me extensive experience. Since starting veterinary school, I have also provided pet-sitting services for veterinarians and fellow veterinary students. If your pet is staying at my place, they'll be in great hands, not just mine, but also those of my three roommates, who are all third-year veterinary students like me. We’re well-versed in animal behavior, health, and emergency care, so your pet will be in a calm, safe, and knowledgeable environment with plenty of attention and love. If I’m coming to your home, you can feel confident knowing I bring a strong foundation of veterinary knowledge and experience. I’m trained to recognize signs of stress or illness, and if something doesn’t seem right, I have quick access to licensed veterinarians through my personal network. I’m also familiar with many of the clinics in the Twin Cities area and would not hesitate to get your pet the care they need in an emergency. No matter the setting, I’m committed to treating your pet like family and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times.
About: Hello, my name is Nora! I am an experienced and reliable pet sitter, open to caring for all types of pets. I pride myself in being careful and responsible for the pets in my care as well as reliable and communicative with their owners. Ever since I was young I have been interested and passionate about animals. When I was a child I cared for many small pets (mice, gerbils, fish, newts and toads) and starting around 10 years old I started cat and dog sitting for friends and family members. As I grew up I gained experience in animal husbandry and worked in two animal rehabilitation centers, feeding, providing medical care and caring for sick and injured animals. I am now based in the Twin Cities and have expanded my own fur-family - I currently have a 12 year old calico cat and a 6 year old bully breed dog. I am available full time for pet care. I can provide dog/cat/pet sitting and house sitting in your home, drop-in visits, or dog walking. When you entrust me with your pets you can rest assured that I will treat them as my own and will deligently follow any pet care instructions or routines. I am currently doing pet care full time, so I have an open schedule for pet/house sitting, walks/playtime or drop-in visits to check in on your pet throughout the day. I can provide care in your home, secure yard, or neighborhood/area that your pet is most familiar. I will always follow your care instructions and work with you to ensure that your pet is safe. I also have experience providing medicine to dogs, cats, and small pets.

About: Hello! My name is Ava, and I'm new to Rover though certainly not to pet care! I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, so I'm lucky to have grown up with a family who owned both cats and dogs, teaching me the responsibilities of pet care from a very young age. Additionally, I spent 3 years throughout highschool and into college employed as a supervising kennel attendant at a dog and cat boarding facility. In this role, I learned so much about the patience, attention-to-detail, compassion, and dependability required for pet caretaking, and can say with confidence that these assets have stuck with me and now shape the way that I care for my own pet, Mickey :) I've had the opportunity to work with dogs and cats of practically all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am also experienced in administering medications, caring for pets with seizures, and faciliating pet socialization! I understand how difficult it can be to leave home and trust your fur baby with someone new. It is for that reason that I promise to do my very best to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease with my care! Please reach out with any questions about my services! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon! While I do work a fulltime job Monday-Friday, I am happy to help with your pet needs whenever I can! I am available most times on the weekends for overnights and walks, and available any day of the week for check-ins, especially for cats! I take pride in creating a comfortable and personalized experience for pets in my care. In caring for pets in clients' homes, I communicate effectively about your animal's favorite activities, toys, treats, etc. in order to best provide them with comfort and fun while you are away!

I work in vet med so and enjoy being able to help and spend time with any type of animal. Claudia did a great job walking my lab, Cleo, while I was out of town! She is very prompt with any communication. She always sent photos from the walks, and the map of the walks; and let me know how Cleo was doing. I felt very assured that Cleo was in excellent hands. Claudia is experienced and was sensitive to Cleo’s needs!

Michelle has been walking our dog, Teddy weekly for the past few months and does a great job with him. He really looks forward to seeing her and she sends us pictures and updates on how things went! We are so grateful we found Michelle to help us out during this time in our lives. Thanks for loving our fur baby! 🩷

Patrick has been dog walking for me for a few months, and I couldn’t be happier. He is so caring and thoughtful, and always makes sure he gets a good walk. He goes the extra mile and communicates really well. Couldn’t ask for a better dog walker when I’m at work.
