About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. About: I have years of experience caring for many different animals at once of all ages and energy levels. I am responsible, trust worthy and reliable. ai currently work as a registered nurse in minneapolis. I work full time as a registered nurse but have a very flexible schedule outside of work. I am looking to fill my free time dog walking, drop in visits or house sitting. I make sure the pets I am looking after are well cared for, happy and have met all their basic. About: I have grown up with all sorts of dogs of all sizes. I have taken part in both training and caring for our family dogs, and there has not been a dog that I do not immediately love. I am available for Rover pet care services on most days of the week with a flexible and reliable routine. I can provide care in the mornings, mid-day, and evenings from Monday through Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday, making it easy to meet pets’ feeding, exercise, and companionship needs throughout the day. On Wednesdays, I am available in the morning and evening but unavailable during the afternoon, so care on that day would be adjusted to ensure pets receive attention before and after that time. I prioritize safe, respectful, and reliable care when looking after pets in their owner’s home. I carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medications, and daily routines, to ensure pets feel comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. About: I grew up in a 3-dog household, so learned to love animals at a young age. As I got older I helped my family care for our pets, which meant helping them as they reached older age. My dog Buddy developed glaucoma and I often helped my parents with his eye drop regime, among the other tender responsibilities of walking and caring for elderly dogs. I’ve dog sit for several friends and family since high school as well, which often meant going over to house sit and stay with the dogs for company. My current job is remote, part time, and lets me set my own hours week-to-week. As such, I’m fairly open throughout the weekdays and weekend. Reach out and we can figure something out! I enjoy being outside and taking pets for frequent walks to ensure they feel tired out, as well as playing with them to keep them mentally stimulated. About: I have 23 years of pet ownership experience (cats, reptiles, and a simple fish tank). I also have a bit of volunteer experience training service dogs and have taken care of friends' pets while they're away. I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. I love animals and will do everything I can to take care of yours as if they're my own. About: Worked with PAWS at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking summer classes but when im not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that cats and dogs especially can get pretty uncomfortable with sudden changes to their routines and schedules. So expect a full interrogation before i take your pet!

About: I've been caring for neighborhood pets since I was 13, and now I’ve been all over the Minneapolis area! My family rescue dog and elderly cat are my babies, they make me the best temporary pet parent I can be for you. I lost one of my elderly cats rather suddenly this fall, so I can say I definitely understand the anxiety of being away from your pets especially those with health issues or behavior quirks. I do what I do because of her, and as a Minneapolis transplant away from my animals, I am more than happy to spend time with yours! I work part-time, though my hours fall in the 9-5 window. However, there is flexibility for me to work remotely for part or sometimes full days with advance notice, depending on the project. I can usually accommodate whatever exercise your pet needs! I am also a dancer, so if your dog has acute health issues or requires constant supervision, we may not be the best fit, as training does require me to be out of the house in the evening. No 4-hour rehearsals right now, but I do take class most days of the week. I'll do my best to stick to a comfortable, consistent routine for your pet and make sure they get all the proper attention and love they need while you are gone. I'm happy to accommodate any medication or feeding requirements.
