“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Did a great job with our dog, gave regular updates of how things were going, and sent pictures. Kyle was also quick and responsive with questions and communication. Overall, great stay for our dog!”

“Erin was a great pet sitter for our Bernese Mountain Dog. She accepted our meet and greet request right away and we were happy with Erin, her dog Eggie and her home and fenced yard. Erin did a great job providing us with regular updates and photos. She was also flexible with changes to our travel plans. We recommend Erin if you are looking for a dog sitter in the metro area.”

“Our chihuahua/terrier Fitz loved his stays with Lan! He returns to her house with a hop in his step, running full speed ahead into her arms. His behavior says it all - he feels safe and we’ll cared for. What more could we ask? We live out of town and connected with Lan on a family visit - we hope to have Lan care for Fitz in future visits!”

“Lisa was a wonderful pet sitter. She was very accommodating and willing to make sure our pup was comfortable staying with her. The yard is very well secured and equipped for active dogs. She sent regular updates with photos. It’s clear Lisa and her husband love dogs. We will happily bring Shadow back for any future stays.”

“This was our first time working with Susan and she took wonderful care of our Naboo. Susan was communicative and was very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience in Rover!”

“The best rover sitter we’ve had so far! We have a high energy dog, and their family gave Winnie all of the love and care while we were gone! Thank you for watching her! We also appreciated the updates and pictures.”

“Wow! My little Luna had the pleasure of staying with Betsy for a quick last minute overnight, and she had such a great time! Betsy sent me updates and made sure Luna felt right at home during her stay. Luna is a little shy and timid with people she doesn’t know, but warmed right up to Betsy. She was able to accommodate my last minute need for a dog sitter, and I truly appreciate that. Luna will be so excited to visit Betsy again! :)”
“Catherine is amazing! She was super responsive & flexible with a last minute change in schedule, administered antibiotics while we were away, and we feel totally comfortable leaving our pup in her care.”

“I would give Colleen and Joe ten stars if I could. They were absolutely wonderful pet sitters and I recommend them without hesitation. Our dog loved their fabulous and safe yard and Colleen is so kind and caring. Truthfully, it was worry free on our end we we loved the pictures and updates we got.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Kara and Adam. I have been consistently using their family for the past two years and have never had anything but great experiences. I always get a flood of pictures from Kara of her and her family loving on my dog. It is such a good feeling to see how excited my dog gets when we pull up to their house and makes leaving her for trips a little bit easier.”

“Katie did an awesome job taking care of Copper! She did a great job sending updates that included pics and videos. Could tell that he had a great time with her! Would highly recommend.”

“Lizzy was absolutely wonderful in caring for our dog while we were away for a few days. She sent so many pictures and videos throughout each day which we were so appreciative of. Will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Pamela goes above and beyond. Our dog developed a cough and she took him to the vet for care and administered his medicine. She is kind and loving and care deeply about the adjustment and well being of your pet. I was able to enjoy our vacation knowing he was in Pamela’s care. She keeps in communication with you and sends pictures. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable caring compassionate dog sitter and boarder.”

“Winnie was well cared for and had a great time! My family had a negative experience with a corporage dog boarding facility several years ago, and finding Lydia and being able to have our dog somewhere safe and comfortable close to home really was such a relief. We will be back next time we travel 💛”

“Alvin had a fabulous time with Elsa and Nick. He learned how to go down stairs and jump onto the sofa. After 2 years I have never been able to teach hi. To see him happily descending stairs was a wonderful shock. It was wonderful to receive pictures, videos and updates daily. Alvin has only stayed away from me twice, and often ignores my visitors. So seeing how much he enjoyed his one on one pampering by Elsa and Nick was wonderful. I will be booking a date in May. Thanks for taking such wonderful care of him.”

About: With over 8 years of experience in animal care, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of pets—including dogs, cats, rats, and even lizards! I’m confident handling pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions who need a bit of extra TLC. I also have experience administering medications like pills, topical creams, and pet inhalers. I’m always happy to learn your pet’s unique routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes and work, I’m fully available on Fridays and weekends and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. I look forward to meeting new pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick to their usual routine—whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or meds—whatever they need to feel at ease. I know how important it is to have someone you trust in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space and do my best to leave things just as I found them (or better!). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you're away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and try to make the time you're gone as stress-free as possible for both of you.
“Chloe was a superb dog sitter! We are so grateful she could stop in to care for our senior dog when we needed extra support. Would totally have Chloe back again.”

About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.
About: Hi! I’m Noah and I have 15 years of experience with all sorts of dogs. I grew up with dogs of all sizes, from Great Danes to miniature dachshunds. My favorite part of being around dogs is playing with them, seeing their happy faces, and getting to experience nature with them. While I’ve never had a cat to call my own, I have played with and taken care of many cats over the years! I am currently a dog dad to a three-year old energetic dachshund and a German Shepherd mix puppy! I can’t wait to meet your pets! I work from home and am generally available after 4:30pm or before 7:30am, but I can be flexible! I live in an area with access to convenient walking trails and parks. Your pet’s safety, security, and health are my top priorities. I understand the trust you're placing in me to care for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously.
“This was our first time using Rover, and Nathan made the experience seamless. He was wonderful about meeting our dog on our dog's own terms—gentle, approachable, and incredibly communicative. I really appreciated that he had a thoughtful plan to make our dog feel welcome in his home and comfortable around his other dog guests.”

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).
“This is is the first time I’ve left my dog with a Rover for day care. Kira does a great job with sending pics so you know your dog is doing great. When I picked my girl up she even walked back to Kira as though she wanted to stay haha. I’ll definitely use Kira again.”

“Thank you, Noelle, for being so caring with GiGi! I’m glad that she could enjoy your huge fenced yard and was able to chill at your house. Thanks for the pictures. It is true that she felt so comfortable with you so leaned up against your leg and loved to be petted. :) I WILL CALL AGAIN FOR GIGI’s DOGGY DAY CARE IN THE FUTURE!”

“Karen and Ryan were fantastic caregivers for our senior dog, Kurt. Great communication before and during the visit. Beautiful home with a wonderful fenced yard. Super flexible with drop off and pick up times. Very friendly and professional. Kurt loved his three days with them. I highly recommend Karen and Ryan for your pet-sitting needs in Minneapolis.”
“Pamela was great! She welcomed a meeting before dog sitting, and asked care questions. Arlington played well with my dog, and they have a great fenced in backyard for running around!”

“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
“Lindsey and her family were so great! They took care of my 5 month old puppy for the day and treated her so well. Gave her lots of play time and walks and sent many updates with pictures. 10/10 would recommend them to take care of your pup!”

“Fernanda took great care of our dog. He was a little anxious because he had been traveling for several weeks and in lots of new places. She noticed his anxiety, and took him out in her yard to play. Perfect. He even ate a meal with her without needing special feeding (which he’d been struggling to do in new surroundings). Fernanda was easy to work with and a great communicator. I’d definitely use Fernanda again next time we’re in town.”

I am committed to doing everything I can to ensure they are happy and comfortable. I also have experience with senior pets and puppies. I'm currently a student on summer break, so I have plenty of time to care for your beloved fuzzy friends. I will, however be moving back to school at the end of August. I am committed to doing everything I can to ensure they are happy and comfortable.

About: I’ve always had animals to take care of since I can remember. Both cats and dogs, and even some other small animals/exotic pets. I worked at a boarding facility with daycare, and I have fostered many dogs in the past. I’m an animal science major and have many hours of experience working with animals of all kinds. I have worked with reactive dogs and I’m always up for keeping your routine consistent with any training you might be working on as well! I will be working a summer job along with pet-sitting this summer. I will only be working max 8 hour shifts and will always have time to care for my own pets, along with yours. If you choose me to take care of them. I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a tether that I can attach a dog to. But of course, I can walk them around the yard on a leash, if that works better for the dog! A typical day with my dog looks like: Wake up and immediately feed him and replenish his water, then out for a potty break. We then spend some time relaxing while I get ready for the day. If he wants, we spend some time inside playing with toys. If I need to go to work, he resides in the common areas of the house. He will always get let out before I leave. If we spend a lot of time inside/if I have to work, I’ll get home and we usually go for a walk to get some energy out. We usually do some training and other daily activities either on the walk or after. Then in the evening he eats again, we go out for a potty break. Normally my dog doesn’t have an overabundance of energy, so we spend the rest of the night cuddling on the couch.

About: I’ve provided pet sitting and care for multiple dogs, and cats including feeding, walking, and maintaining routines for friends, family and even people around my neighborhood. I’ve loved animals since childhood, and even had my own lab for 16 years who I loved to the moon and back but sadly passed away late 2024. I know older animals require a certain level of attention and care. I love staying active, and high energy animals and I get along great! I do not mind larger animals. I have consistent availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with additional flexible availability throughout the week depending on my schedule. I’m great with planning ahead and keeping a reliable routine with my clients! I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. I maintain feeding schedules, regular walks, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and stress-free. “Madisen has been so wonderful with my dogs! I trust her completely to take great care of them. She keeps me updated and sends lots of adorable photos too. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since the day I was born and have always had genuine love for them. I potty trained my first puppy when I was 8 years old and have potty trained rats & rabbits as well! I have two cats of my own and they are the sweetest boys, but I unfortunately cannot have a dog right now, and honestly could use some good dog time! I have experience with behavioral issues, medication administration, and special routines. I am currently in-between jobs after moving back to Minneapolis from Denver. I am available most days and have blocked out my schedule for weekends I will not be in town. That being said, I am able to stay with your pets all day, each day you book me! I have two cats, both of which have automatic feeders and a water fountain with a filter. I make sure the litter box is scooped everyday, and the feeders are full. They both get outside time on the balcony and once a week we take them to a grassy area to play. :)
About: I have lived on a hobby farm ever since I was born. I love all kinds of animals! I have bottle-fed, baby goats, walk my dogs as often as I can, and love to snuggle with my kitties. I have taken care of and had experience with all sorts of animals because of living on a hobby farm the animals that we have had on our farm include dogs, cats, and even bunnies. I am such a big lover and will take great care of your fur baby! Whenever I am back home on my hobby farm, I am always taking care of our animals. I love sitting outside with the goats, feeding them leaves and animal crackers, and snuggling with them. My one dog loves to play fetch and whenever I can, I go sit outside with him and throw his tennis ball our cats love to play in cardboard boxes, so I like to set up little houses for them to play in with each other. I will always make sure to keep my entire focus on the animals and if something feels wrong, I will contact the pet owner immediately. I will play with your animals if that’s what they like to do, or I can just snuggle with them on a couch, or just sit there if they like to be around someone.

About: I’ve had family pets ever since I was brought into this world, and my life would’ve been incomplete without them! In terms of experience, I worked as a dog handler for a summer and worked with dogs of all types, sizes, and personalities! I’m taking a summer off before my last semester of college, and thought that maybe I could make this a part time gig for the time being, so my availability is incredibly flexible, especially in the month of July. In my home, I stay consistent with basic pet care rituals like feeding and watering, potty breaks, and play time! For my clients, I do exactly as they ask in order to keep both me and their pet safe and cared for!
“Kate is seriously the best! My dog loves going on long walks with Kate and getting a bunch of attention. I can tell Kate really cares about the pets she helps out with.”

I can bottle feed and help with disabled animals as well. Not only am I able to look after your animals with the care that is necessary, I can also ensure the loving environment any animal deserves :) I am a college student who has lots of extra time this summer. I recently moved states and I deeply miss my own pet family; for that reason I plan on working with animals as much as possible. Tell me what you need, I'll work with you! I don't plan on hosting because I live in an apartment, however I am very respectful of spaces that aren't mine. If you need me to watch your babies over night, I promise I'll treat your space with as much respect as my own- even if your pet makes a mess, you wouldn't be able to tell because I'd clean it asap!
About: I have 23 years of pet ownership experience (cats, reptiles, and a simple fish tank). I also have a bit of volunteer experience training service dogs and have taken care of friends' pets while they're away. I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. I love animals and will do everything I can to take care of yours as if they're my own. Let's discuss medical needs before booking, and I will make sure I have your vet's information in case of emergencies. I require a meet & greet for first time bookings. This is a complimentary visit to meet your animals, learn the routines, and ask each other any questions we need to make sure they get the best care.
About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)
About: Hi friends! My name is Robin, I’m 29, and I’m an artist living in northeast Minneapolis currently working in the service industry. While I don’t have any pets of my own, I am my community’s right-hand-gal when it comes to pet care. I also spend my free time often reading and consuming content about dog training and working with reactive pups. It is important to me that my presence is known by the animals in my life to be calm and joyful and consistent. I’ve got lots of attention to give and lots of patience - looking to overflow back into the families around me through helping care and tend to their pets. I am most familiar with having small dogs be a part of my family but have built my pet experience recipe to the brim with dogs of all sizes and ages as well as playful & shy cats and kittens. Don’t let the “gap in my resume” fool you - I’ve been servicing families in my area consistently (they just text me the old fashioned way ;)). I am currently in-between jobs so I have more open availability than normal. I currently have a standing commitment Wed-Friday 1pm-3pm, but that is my only limitation at this time. I am located in NE Minneapolis. I like to simulate what a normal day might look like for them while adapting to their particular needs surrounding getting to know a new friend (me!). I pride myself in being able to match the energy of animals and display to them that my job is to make sure they’re safe and I do not need to be in their physical space when they don’t want it. I love cuddling up with a lil silly sleepy pal but I won’t even be putting my hands on them regularly until/unless it is absolutely clear that they’re ready and wanting attention from me like that.
“Emily took great care of our dogs! She was on time for our meet and greet and made sure she got to know both Pete and Rosie. When she came to walk the dogs, she was able to get Rosie outside and down the road (which is a big accomplishment with a timid, blind dog)! We definitely would recommend Emily.”

About: Hi! I'm an animal lover who provides attentive, reliable pet care. As the adult account holder and caregiver, I will be responsible for all aspects of your pet's care, including walks, feeding, medication administration (if needed), and supervision. I also have a 10-year-old daughter who loves animals and may occasionally accompany me during walks or visits. Because of this, I ask that pets be comfortable around respectful, animal-savvy children. My daughter's presence is always supervised by me, and your pet's safety and well-being remain my top priority. I look forward to getting to know you and your furry family member! I work long days Mondays through Wednesdays but have more flexibility outside of that. Can accommodate before and after work visits. I love long walks! I cannot care for pets in our home but can come to you! Your pet MUST be kid friendly in case my 10 year old comes with!
About: I grew up in a 3-dog household, so learned to love animals at a young age. As I got older I helped my family care for our pets, which meant helping them as they reached older age. My dog Buddy developed glaucoma and I often helped my parents with his eye drop regime, among the other tender responsibilities of walking and caring for elderly dogs. I’ve dog sit for several friends and family since high school as well, which often meant going over to house sit and stay with the dogs for company. My current job is remote, part time, and lets me set my own hours week-to-week. As such, I’m fairly open throughout the weekdays and weekend. Reach out and we can figure something out! Above all, I care about keeping your baby comfortable and happy! I enjoy being outside and taking pets for frequent walks to ensure they feel tired out, as well as playing with them to keep them mentally stimulated. Tell me what your pets like, and I’ll do my best at keeping them happy while you’re away :)

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Martha and Eric are just amazing! They provided the best care for Etta - it’s clear that she was SO well loved while she was there 🥰 We loved that they sent lots of pictures and videos along with their updates. It gave us such peace of mind to see what she was up to each day. Etta looked right at home (so much so that we weren’t sure she’d even want to leave with us when we came to pick her up 😂). We’re already hoping our next travel plans align with Martha and Eric’s availability because they are so fantastic! We are so grateful!”

“Promise was so good with our nervous yorkie-poo! She sent us multiple updates and pictures throughout the day and I can tell she really loves all of the dogs she cares for!”
