“I am so happy I chose Carolyn. My dog sometimes takes a while to warm up to people, but she liked Carolyn right away. Carolyn is an excellent and prompt communicator, which I really appreciate; my dog always looks so happy when Carolyn sends me pictures from their walks. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Carolyn!!”

“Tacy was wonderful with Sky. She is kind, flexible and communicated well with us. She even stopped over the day before the walk to help Sky feel more comfortable on her first Rover walk. We will hire Tacy again!”

About: I have been dog sitting for over ten years. I’m my regulars go to, because I’m enthusiastic about watching their animals and I provide them with top notch care. My professional background is in elementary education. I believe these skills help me in accommodating the needs of each dog I interact with. I am off work in the summer, so your animals will get lost of my attention! I am sometimes in and out of the house to bring my son to various activities, but try to bring animals with me if I can. I live in a ground level condo. Easy access to outside. Dogs must be leashed in public areas here, but there are surrounding areas close by for dogs to get exercise. I try to walk dogs I care for at least once a day.
“Shayla has been an amazing dog walker for our little Mabel! She’s very attentive, fast at communicating, always takes lots of pictures and always fills out the Rover card! If I could give her ten stars, I would! 😊”

About: I have two dogs of my own, one small two-year-old coton and a larger 11-year-old poodle. I've helped take care of both of them while growing up, so I'm very familiar with dogs' general needs. I'm used to both short walks and longer walks due to the energy level differences in my dogs, so I'm perfectly comfortable with doing both! I'm currently on summer break from college, so I have lots of extra free time to walk your dog! I'm pretty flexible overall, but later in the day usually works better. I have a large backyard where dogs can play, and I'm very familiar with the surrounding area from walking with my own dogs. I adore animals and treat every pet like they were my own!
“Gavin did a SUPER job with our 2-1/2 year old red lab, Ruby! Gavin obviously loves dogs, and Ruby took a shining to Gavin. Gavin always arrived promptly and sent us great photos of Ruby on her walks! We definitely plan on asking Gavin to walk Ruby in the future!”

“Highly recommend! Although our dog was nervous at first, Nate spent extra time getting our puppy to trust him. They had a wonderful walk together. We would book again!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and reptiles. I also have experience dog sitting. I do all in my power to make them as comfortable and loved as I can. I’ve researched and researched everything I can about all the animals I take care of and would do everything I can to protect and care for your pet. I am currently out of school for the summer and will be able to care for your baby(s) whenever necessary. My Availability is very flexible. I have two small yorkies and love to take care of them and I have experience caring for other types of animals as well I try to make sure a pet is safe, secure, and loved to the best of my abilities.

“Robert is absolutely amazing! It has made a huge difference in me and my dogs lives and training. I am super busy, but he is great with working around my schedule and leaving detailed reviews/updates for me to review later. I have a hard time trusting people with my baby but his incredible growth has helped me immensely.”

“Amanda is the best! My girls or rescues and very people selective. She is so patient with them and really got them to warm up and come out of their shells. Definitely recommend for anyone with anxious or stressed dogs!”

About: I love being around animals and eventually want to have a career where I can help them! I have grown up taking care of dogs and cats, so I have experience with both. Additionally, I currently have 3 cats of my own! I am very flexible and able to work any day of the week! Preferably after 8:00 AM, however I can adjust the time if needed! Whenever I am taking care of someone’s fur baby, I make sure to follow all instructions given to me and always make sure to clean up any messes they may make!
About: Hello my name is Chelsea and I love animals. Growing up I lived on a hobby farm with cats, dogs, horses, goats, fish and chickens to now when I have reptiles, two dogs and a cat. My dream job would be to work with animals every day and build a trust between owner and sitter because I know the feeling when you can trust that your animal baby will be cared for to the fullest extent. I have always cared for animals and have been to a few basic animal emergency classes that I learned a lot from such as cpr on cats, dogs and reptiles to learning basic signs of pain or uncomfortably. I can’t wait to meet more animals and am excited to start. I have always had a routine and the pets were just a part of that. If I leave the house the have each other but I’m never gone for more then an couple hours. I care for them as I would my own, they are apart of the family and I wouldn’t want it any other way. If they need water; I would fill the bowl, same with food. If they needed potty break I would take them outside; and if they wanted to cuddle and watch a movie on the couch I would allow it.

About: I absolutely love working with animals! I started out volunteering at the SPCA where I got to cuddle and play with adorable cats and dogs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for all sorts of animals, including some sweet pups, cuddly kitties, and even some friendly pigs! Whether it's just stopping by for a quick visit, giving them medicine, or taking them for a walk, you can trust that I'll treat your furry (or not so furry!) friend with nothing but love and care. I have an extremely flexible schedule right now so I have time for any of your pets and their needs. I always try my best to be on time & as thorough as possible even if that means I have to spend more time to get everything done. In my clients home I am always respectful of house rules & what is going on with their pets. Always being attentive and observant of what is going on. While outside on walks it is exactly the same of where we are walking and who is around.

I have a fenced in yard for lots of fetch & play time. We love walks & hiking so lots of opportunities for exercise, fun & bonding with the dogs. I also have experience with crating if that is necessary.

I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I work from home with a ton of flexibility. My schedule allows me the flexibility to give your pet all of the care they need. Little Canada dog parents share their Rover experiences
Reliable and generous, ensured my dog was walked with plenty of play time every day even in rainy weather. My energetic mini labradoodle was excited to see Jae H when he arrived for walks. Responsive communication . Clear commitment. Daily photos and reports. Jae H noticed and reported on a bug bite. Flexible when I had to change dates. I will definitely rebook, given the opportunity.

Anna is so patient and kind! She literally goes the extra mile. I have a couple of rescue dogs that are still in the process of learning better leash manners and she’s giving me good, honest reports. She’s also not letting them get away with too many shenanigans! I appreciate her hard work and dedication.
