9. Madi R.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was a child, so I know how to have fun with them and make sure that they are being taken care of properly. It's not just about walking or dropping in to see if your pet is okay--I try to build a bond with pets (and their owners!) so that the pet is comfortable with me. I understand the importance of individualized care because pets have personalities just like people do! Every pet is different and that's okay! I'm not the sitter or walker that will do the same things with every pet. Whether it’s daily walks or drop ins while you’re on vacation, you’ll get detailed Rover cards and lots of pictures! I am a stay at home mom, so i can be very flexible with scheduling! i like to have repeat clients but will absolutely take on one-timers :) Since I do not offer boarding, I treat the client’s home as if I was never there, meaning that I provide top notch pet care without leaving a mess. Consistency is key with pet care so I will follow the owner’s instructions so the pet(s) do not feel like their routine is changed!

10. Andrew F.
“As Andrew’s mother, I have known him his whole life. From a very young age, he has been enamored with puppies and dogs. We always had and still have our own dog(s) and cats and I know Andrew really would love to have a dog of his own, but he knows his full-time job and living in an apartment is not conducive for giving a dog the best life right now. He gets his dog fixes whenever he sees one and stops to pet it if it is allowable. Our old neighbors had two dogs and one of them did not like most people, but especially guys. The exception was Andrew – the dog really liked Andrew. Andrew has helped out friends by pet sitting before, and he is an honest, responsible young man.”

11. Shontay E.
“I wanted to send a quick message to let you know how pleased I was with Shontay this past weekend. She really showed great concern and care for my 2 dogs and was very descriptive in her emails to me while I was away on vacation. By far, she has been the best pet sitter I’ve had. I would really like to keep using her from here on out as the pet sitter for my dogs. My dogs really liked her and she just took such good care of them. Please, if it’s possible I really want to keep Shontay as my pet sitter from here on out. It was a great experience and I knew from the “get go” upon meeting her, my dogs were in excellent hands with her. I am truly a satisfied and happy client! I’ve always been happy traveling knowing Gizzy & Blue was in good hands. We want to thank you with all our heart for taking outstanding care of our little fuzzy faces. They are our babies. ~ Kelly.W”

12. Tacy G.

“Tacy was wonderful with Sky. She is kind, flexible and communicated well with us. She even stopped over the day before the walk to help Sky feel more comfortable on her first Rover walk. We will hire Tacy again!”

13. ROBERT W.
“Robert, Cato's foster dad, was a true hero. He rescued Cato from the streets, a scared and distrustful dog, and transformed him into my best friend. Cato was a handful, stubborn and fearful, but Robert's unwavering love, patience, and training turned him into an amazing companion. With Robert, Cato felt safe and secure. Robert's calm demeanor and gentle spirit have a soothing effect on dogs, making them feel at ease in his presence. I 100% recommend Robert for any of your pet care needs.”

14. Brenda S.
“Brenda is a responsible and loving pet caregiver! No worries when Brenda is caring for my fur babies! I highly recommend Brenda to care for your pets when away!”

15. Chioma U.
“Chioma has taken care of my two cats three or four times when I go out of town. She has always kept their water fresh, food filled (they're grazers), and cleaned the litterbox. My kitties are true scaredy cats, but Phoenix comes out to greet her whenever she comes over now. I trust her to care for my cats more than anyone else at this point!”

16. Emma R.
“Emma is an extremely responsible animal lover. She has watched my cats and dog in our home and she took care of all their needs, was very attentive and I never had to worry about them. She’s very respectful of any guidelines and restrictions we have for our dogs meals and treats.”

17. Zeek L.
“Zeek loves animals and nature. He's always friendly and gets a positive response with dogs when approaching them for the first time. Zeek has a lot experience taking care of bigger dogs and as well as smaller dogs. Zeek has taken care of my cat numerous times while I was away for the weekend and always has done a great job playing with the cat, petting him, and feeding him as instructed.”

18. Kayla M.

“Our first time with Rover and Kayla was fabulous. She stopped by before we left to meet Winston and had great communication with us throughout the week.”

19. Andrea Y.

“Andrea was great with my dog, Ivy! Ivy is a rescue and I have only had her for about two months. She is very nervous with new people, but Andrea knew how to handle it and Ivy warmed up to her. Andrea was responsive, courteous, responsible and easy to work with! I hope to use her again!”

20. Lynnette I.
About: I am available full time to care for your pet while you are away. Through the years I have cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, chinchillas, parrots, cockatiels, parakeets and rats. I also worked at Myrick Park Zoo (through City of La Crosse) so I have animal husbandry skills that span a wide and extensive range of animal species - porcupine, badger, fox, bear, deer, monkeys - you name it, I've probably cared for it! I will treat your pet as if it is my own and insure care & safety at the highest level possible! I work full time and can watch your animal friends on weekends and/or holidays. I can also accommodate night time checkin, feeding and walks in the evening.
