About: Been taking care of animals since I was a little kid. Dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, hamsters, snakes, turtles, pet fish. Eventually I hope to open a bigger home boarding practice ❤️ They will spending with me while I work from my room. After work will be park time. They will be walked at least once a day, if not more. 😊👍 Currently I live in a condominium, there is a small dog park right outside the complex. Nice trails for walks and exercise. I always try to make time for pets. I do have another job but I’m trying to lean more towards rover for my love of animals! I usually take the dogs on walks whenever i can and whenever i see they need their energy out, I always feed them on time and have no issue needing to put dogs in crates if needed. About: I’ve watched after family and friends pets since I was young, and have worked in several professional dog walking/pet sitting settings, it’s what I love to do most, meeting new animals and discovering each personality. There’s nothing better than becoming best friends with new animals every day. I’ve had several professional roles in dog walking and pet sitting, I have a lot of experience with reactive and aggressive pets, as well as disabled pets, mentally challenged pets, medicated/sickly pets, and elderly pets (of all kinds except birds) My hours are always open, I’m hoping to start my own business some day and am wanting to continue taking care of pets while working to make my dream come true I have one cat, and two dogs, short haired White Russian cat, A golden lab, and a husky. I spend most of my time playing and cuddling with my pets, all of my babies enjoy spending time outdoors chasing balls or sun bathing on the porch, our golden lab has seizures so he has to take two different meds two times a day right now, but he is still the sweetest and most excited pup around! He loves to play fetch and run as fast as he can around the yard! Always has to make sure we’re watching him!

About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!
