“We were first timers on Rover and Patti and Patrick were the first match that came up... and I never looked for another option. Best decision I made! Our 13-year-old AmStaff, Jackson, had surgery the Friday before his stay and by Monday night, drop-off night, we were in the doggy ER. I texted Patti from the waiting room, explained everything, and without hesitation she said bring him... we want to care for him. We showed up at 11p with a loopy, post-ER dog, a bland diet we'd just cooked up, a pile of medications, and a whole lot of apology. They took him in like he was their own. What followed was a week of daily photo updates, warm compresses on his incision, anxiety meds crushed into peanut butter, small-batch feedings, middle-of-the-night potty runs, and more love than I could have asked for. Patti was his constant and his nurse. Patrick became his cuddle buddy. They even scored him a Dairy Queen pup cup. I cried every single day from the updates they sent out of pure joy, appreciation and knowing our special Jackson was being unconditionally loved and doted on non-stop. They even checked in on him after we got home. They missed him. That's not the job... that's just who they are, and it says everything about the care and love they pour into what they do. About: I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life. I grew up with dogs but had my first cat at around age 12 and currently have 2 cats, so I am very familiar with caring for them! I had also started watching cats and dogs for friends, family, and neighbors throughout those years.

About: I've had lots of experience with a wide variety of dogs from family pets to working with Wag! I have a 8 month old German Shepard/Lab, Opal, so I am comfortable with puppies and high energy breeds. I also have experience caring for senior animals. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. I am mostly available for weekend care but can do walks & check ins during the week if I bring my youngest with me. I am open to boarding and other care during the weekends. About: Dogs have been an important part of my life for many years. I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. Each day, we go on at least one longer walk with our dog, in addition to shorter potty breaks and outdoor time as needed. These walks are a regular part of our schedule and help ensure our 8-year-old Siberian Husky gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. We also spend time in our large fenced-in backyard, which gives additional safe space for activity and play. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to be flexible and responsive to a dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or adjusting activity based on energy level or weather. Overall, pet care fits very naturally into our household rhythm and is already an important part of our daily family routine. We start the day with feeding, potty breaks, and a walk, and we typically do at least one longer walk each day to make sure our dog gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. Since we have an 8-year-old Siberian Husky, we’re very familiar with meeting the needs of high-energy dogs and making sure they stay active and engaged. Throughout the day, pets are part of our home environment. Because I am a stay-at-home mom to two young children, I’m home and available to provide regular supervision, attention, and outdoor breaks as needed. We also have a large fenced-in backyard, which allows for safe outdoor play and extra exercise time. About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. About: Hey, my name is Amy and I have a natural love for animals my whole life. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My 7 years of experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I have a dog named Cody and I’ve become known as the “Neighborhood Sitter” where I live because I babysit and dog sit for EVERYONE I know. I am very fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic and that all comes to life more when I’m around animals. I am currently working full time but my shifts are spaced well enough for me to be able to care for pets around my schedule. “We were first timers on Rover and Patti and Patrick were the first match that came up... and I never looked for another option. Best decision I made! Our 13-year-old AmStaff, Jackson, had surgery the Friday before his stay and by Monday night, drop-off night, we were in the doggy ER. I texted Patti from the waiting room, explained everything, and without hesitation she said bring him... we want to care for him. We showed up at 11p with a loopy, post-ER dog, a bland diet we'd just cooked up, a pile of medications, and a whole lot of apology. They took him in like he was their own. What followed was a week of daily photo updates, warm compresses on his incision, anxiety meds crushed into peanut butter, small-batch feedings, middle-of-the-night potty runs, and more love than I could have asked for. Patti was his constant and his nurse. Patrick became his cuddle buddy. They even scored him a Dairy Queen pup cup. I cried every single day from the updates they sent out of pure joy, appreciation and knowing our special Jackson was being unconditionally loved and doted on non-stop. They even checked in on him after we got home. They missed him. That's not the job... that's just who they are, and it says everything about the care and love they pour into what they do. If you have a senior dog with special needs and you're terrified to leave them — choose Patti and Patrick! We will never use anyone else.”

About: I have had dogs most of my life and have always been a responsible owner. I know how important it is for dogs to get exercised and stimulated. I work during the week during normal business hours but my adult son is with me and would see to it that your dog is taken care of during that time. He is also a dog lover and is very responsible and used to volunteer with the humane society. I would be attending to your dog in the evenings and early morning. I am available throughout the weekends. My back yard is not fenced and is adjacent to green space. I would make sure that your dog is walked regularly with a leash (at least twice a day).
