“Kyle did a great job caring for our pup while we were out of town and was extremely prompt with all of our correspondence; including in our request to watch our pup, which really put us at ease! I definitely recommend him! :)”

“Returning client! Our dog settles right in at Rachel’s which tells me she’s comfortable and at ease. Rachel sends daily updates and the peace of mind we have while we are away from home without our dog is such a relief. We’ll be back again!”

“Lisa was a wonderful pet sitter. She was very accommodating and willing to make sure our pup was comfortable staying with her. The yard is very well secured and equipped for active dogs. She sent regular updates with photos. It’s clear Lisa and her husband love dogs. We will happily bring Shadow back for any future stays.”

“Lan did a great job caring for Martha and Susan! The picture update was appreciated, but girls looked very happy. Lan’s dog, Lucy, was adorable and friendly.”

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“J is the best! Super communicative and really loves my pup. I can tell my dog is happy in the photos he sends and when I pick him up! So grateful to have found J!”

“This was my first time working with Erin, and she is fantastic! Excellent communicator, quick with replies, and accommodating/transparent with any changes. Most of all my dog Madigan loved her time with Erin and her two dogs. Will definitely look forward to boarding with her again in the future!”

“We had a great experience boarding with Susie! We felt very comfortable leaving our dog in her care. In fact, after seeing the photos and getting reports, we were worried our dog may not want to come home with us! Thank you!”

“Betsy is honestly the only person I trust to watch my Miniature Dachshund! She has experience with a wide variety of dog breeds. She will send daily updates & photos, which gives me sense of ease while I'm away. On our most recent trip, our flight kept getting delayed, so I was stressing out since we were getting into town much later than expected. She told us not to worry & had our dog all ready to go when we got back! :) Would highly suggest booking with her!”

“The whole family loves animals and knows how to keep a happy calm household. The fenced in yard has shade and places to play and explore. The human family can watch the canine family through the patio door too.”

“Megan and her family are absolutely WONDERFUL. My pup Lily loves going to their home. They keep her active, snuggled, and cared for. Megan sends great updates, so I never have to worry about Lily when she's there. Best sitters ever!”

“Katie was helpful and communicative from the start. When our plans changed she was able to accommodate those changes and work with us. The flexibility was appreciated. Would be happy to work with her again.”

“Luke and Rachel are the best! Harry always has a wonderful time at their house. They are caring and so sweet and attentive to our pup. Thank you Luke and Rachel!”

“My Lumi had a great time at Dave’s. She can be shy of new people but she took to him right away! You can tell how much he truly loves and cares about animals. If you’re looking for someone to watch your dog, I would 100% recommend Dave. I will definitely be reaching out to him in the future!”

“Takenya was great to work with. She is a great communicator and sent a bunch of photos and videos, which was fun and helped me not worry about my dogs. This was my first time using Rover, and Takenya allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation.”

“Ashley did a wonderful job watching my goldendoodle Crosby! She sent an update and/or picture everyday to let us know what kind of activities they got up to each day. I was very happy with how much exercise she gave Crosby, sometimes I was worried that he was having so much fun that he wouldn't even want to come home! Knowing that Crosby was in such good hands with Ashley while I was gone gave me a lot of peace of mind.”

Meagan did a great job of keeping us posted about our dog Jackie. It was our first time away from our six year old rescue for more than a few hours. We didn't know what to expect or how she would do. From the pictures Meagan sent daily, Jackie seemed happy to be with other dogs. Thanks, Meagan. We appreciate the good care you provided. Pat B.
I wish there were more stars to leave for Robert. He deserves about 1000+ gold stars. 1. He was very clear when he had questions regarding Elwood's 'weird' behavior(s) and accepting of Elwood's quirks. 2. Robert sent photos and texts frequently to update me on their adventures. 3. Robert introduced his 3 yo child to Elwood and it was copacetic. 4. Elwood went on many walks and had many sniffing experiences. 5. Elwood misses Robert. He is sad without his new friend. A huge thank you to Robert.

Super thankful that Joshua was able to take care of my dog last minute. They were super friendly and provided the right amount of updates as well for me to feel comfortable about leaving them. My dog is high energy and has anxiety issues, but Joshue was able to find a way to keep them calm, happy, occupied, and tuckered out at the time I picked them up. I would highly recommend and would book with them again 🙏🏻

Destiny did a great job watching my quirky dog. She adhered to all my instructions and sent me photos every day. My dog has some behavior issues and is not always easy to watch. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Destiny and would use her again as a dog sitter.

We were so glad that Jada took care of our very senior dog! He's 17 years old and never boarded before. She took care of his feeding and medication needs, gave him frequent walks, and did a great job of communicating. We were able to do our cruise, and our dog came home healthy and happy.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
