About: I do not currently have a cat but I have lived with cats most of my life. Inside only, and in/out cats. I understand that cats do things on their own time but I also know that sometimes cats need pills or claws clipped for their own good. I love petting and brushing and also have no problem letting them be who they are and leaving them alone until they’re ready to be friends.

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve had animals around me, giving them all the love and spoiling them just a little too much. About: I have had two dogs in my life but have been the “best aunt ever” for many of my brothers and friends dogs. I understand that not all dogs are the same, they have their preferences, their likes/dislikes, and their levels of activity and stimulus. As a sitter I believe it’s important to keep up with the pets regular routine as much as possible by following the rules established by their owners. I love to spoil a dog and take them on more walks and more cuddles than normal because when owners/parents are on vacation i want the pet to have a fun vacation as well. I currently don’t have any pets so am able to care for the animal that needs to be an “only pet”. But I have friends and neighbors with dogs so I also have a way to help they socialize. At home, I measure food and free feed my cat and she has an automatic water fountain that's maintained regularly and her litter box is spot cleaned twice a week and fully scrubbed twice a month. She has many toys that are always available and I always spend some time playing with her every day. She loves cuddles and has them on demand because as soon as she sits on you kitty law is invoked and you can't move till she does. When I have cared for dogs I have done everything from walks in parks, neighborhoods, and dog parks as well as just playing in the house or yard as well as taking take of outdoor dogs, like working dogs. I have done scheduled feeding, free feeding, medications, etc. If I am staying in your home I will do my best to keep life as close to normal for your pet, apart from there being a different human in the house. I would also prefer to meet your pets and see your home before any official start date of a booking for us both to get a feel for each other.

“I couldn’t be happier about finding Shevon & Ian - they are a perfect fit for Loki. Very caring, very attentive and understanding of a young but very large dog’s needs (and quirks!) They have a wonderful house with a huge fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood, and their daughter and dog Warren are equally awesome. Shevon even went out of her way between visits to help us find a new vet when Loki was struggling with a severe case of pneumonia. Can’t recommend them enough!”
