About: No matter the size, breed or personality of your pet, earning their trust and friendship (along with your own trust) is my top priority. I grew up in a multi-pet household taking care of dogs, birds and small animals. Since then, I have taken care of horses, anoles, cats, parakeets and my curiosity for getting to know an animal's individual personality has only grown over that time. I currently have two dogs: an Australian shepherd and border collie mix, both of whom I raised from puppies by myself. We are an active family, walking/hiking and in general spending time exploring the neighborhood for hours a day, traveling together for camping or cabin vacations in our free time. It's cliche, but my dogs are truly my family and as a long-time Rover user on the customer side, I understand what it means to have a sitter/walker you can trust while you're away. I love finding people who strive to understand them as individuals and who are sensitive to their needs. My border collie is highly sensitive and I have learned to work within his limits, giving him the stimulation he needs by finding more isolated parks to sniff around, mental challenges inside, etc. that keep him entertained while reducing stress. I am more than comfortable getting to know your own pets' quirks and finding ways to keep their days consistent and stress-free. Pet care is already at the center of my life, as I have two energetic herding dogs. We walk frequently every day to help burn energy -- I like to let my dogs walk at their pace so they can sniff around and stimulate their brains while getting exercise. As someone with pets I understand the importance of trust-building in drop-in visit situations. As your schedule permits, we can meet beforehand via a meet and greet to get a feel for your schedule and space, and how to support your comfort and your pets'. Pets thrive with routine, and I strive to support that.

About: I am a current cat mom and grew up with an outrageous amount of animals ( at one time we had 4 cats and 2 dogs) and truly made me appreciate all animals. I watched some dogs throughout college and have pet sit for my sister on multiple occasions- i work from home 3 days a week and work super close to home so i would be able to get around quickly if needed. i love walks and usually walk for about an hour to hour and half after work and would love to be able to bring a doggy with me i work full time however only in office 2 days a week - i like to have outside time perfect for dogs to join me especially when it is nice out however a little rain never hurts. i work pretty close to where i live which means being around to take care of any animals is very easy. the weekends are pretty free usually and would love to be able to bring a pup for any adventures to burn some energy or have a cat to hang out with and kill time with some cuddles and possible treats and playing with toys currently having one cat it is pretty easy, she has way too many toys for one cat and has an automatic litter box and food bowl to make it easy sine she likes to wake up at 4am however i make sure she gets a great amount of attention with having play time every night, some other cats or dogs may not be into everything so i like to hang out and see what animals are like before doing new things so i dont stress them out and get them to like me first and be on common ground before starting any negotiations with them about walks or treats or pets

About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and have been around many different animals over the years. I started out pet sitting for friends of family members, and families in my local community in my spare time. I have also taken care of a few senior pets over the years by making sure they get their right medications and foods throughout my stay. I also help take care of farm animals, outdoor bird feeders, along with indoor and outdoor plant watering and care. I currently have two cats, Scooter and Goose and they are my world. I am currently working about 20-25 hours a week. My current job is very flexible with hours and time that would allow me to stop in a care for your pets. I am available to do a few days, with the possibility of extending that period of time. I would be able to stop in and care for your pets before I head to work for the day (roughly 4 to 8 hours regularly, but can be flexible) and again after I am done with work for the day before engaging in any activities or turning in for the evening. I am open to stopping in daily and caring for you pets in your home as I dont have much space while I am currently living in the city with roommates and multiple pets in our household. If your pet has a favorite park, or yard to play in, I would be happy to engage in their favorite activities hwith them in those places.

About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. Whether it’s putting pets into crates, or active play, or if meals need to be more hands on, I feel comfortable caring for them in pretty much any situation. I don’t have much experience caring for dogs with special needs, so some animals who need that type of assistance might be out of the realm of care I can provide.

About: I have always had dogs in my life and became the extended family pet-sitter in my early teen years. My care ranges from puppies to senior dogs. I am not a certified trainer but I follow any rules, skills or tricks your dog has developed or is working on. I have had 8 dogs in my lifetime. My oldest dog lived to be 15.5 years old. I've cared for dogs with medical needs - kidney disease, seizures, hip dysplasia, depression and anxiety. I have administered medication in all forms. I work remotely from home on a flexible schedule. My availability is not restricted. I am available at all times during the day and night for bathroom breaks, walks or any other care that is needed. At my home, I have a 6-foot privacy fence. Your dog will be safe in my space. Besides being able to roam in the backyard, I enjoy any type of walk - snifari, gentle stroll, get the heart rate going or a pee and poo mission. Rain, snow or full sun - I am willing to get moving. Furniture is available for lounging plus multiple dog beds throughout the house. A dog-bed right next to my desk at home, absolutely! If your dog is crate trained, I have a quiet space for set up. In your home, I will abide my your rules and schedule. In my home, I have two cats. Your dog must get along with cats.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I understand how important pets are, and that they are more than just dogs or cats- they're family. And for some, they're the only family one's got. I will make sure your family is properly cared for no matter if it's an overnight stay, a quick play break, or a long walk. I'm currently working part-time and will be available to care for pets all day Friday-Monday, before 11:30 am Tuesday through Thursday, and after 4:45pm Tuesday through Thursday. In the month of July I will be working two full-time jobs so my availability will be strictly on weekends. The comfort and safety of your pet is my top priority. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! I used to work at a dog day care (small and large breeds). I also volunteered at OTAT in Chicago for a year before recently moving to St Paul. Volunteering for OTAT required extensive training. Looking to add furry friends back into my life 💛 I currently work full-time but remotely and am very flexible. I’m available to drive and provide care in the mornings before the work day begins, during lunch hours, and after 4 pm. I live in an apt building and have plenty of grass surrounding. I’m near a lovely riverwalk which would allow for amazing walks as needed.

About: As long as I can remember, I've absolutely adored playing with and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Having had a dog since I was ten years old, I've had many years of personal experience caring for them, including but not limited to responsibilities such as feeding, walking, bathing, and distributing medication to them. As a full-time graduate student, I'll largely be available in the early mornings and late afternoons, as well as evenings, to care for your pets during the week. On weekends, I can be very flexible with timing based on your needs. Since your pets are a part of your family, I know just how important it is to have them feel safe, secure, and loved. About: I have grown up around pets all of my life, having had multiple dogs and cats throughout. As a teenager, I would be trusted by neighbors to sit multiple pets at a time while they went on vacation. More than that, I am familiar with senior pet care and administering oral medicine. I am currently working part-time so I am available and ready to handle pet care most days of the week, including weekends. More, I am able to do early morning and late night care. I can create a safe environment for your pet by finding their comfort and acknowledging what they need within the home. Likewise, on walks, I am able to handle large dogs and other animal contact, making sure your pet stays safe in my care.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid. In middle school, I began taking care of family & friends’ dogs. I love spending quality time with dogs, getting to know their unique personalities, and honoring their needs. I am also an experienced dog groomer who values building a bond of trust with pets and their families. I am a full-time student from September-May. I work part-time during the summer, so I generally have more time to spend with your pet throughout the week. I play organ and sing at various churches every weekend, which occupies my Saturday evenings & Sunday mornings. I also practice music every weekday morning. My home does not allow for pets, so I will be happy to stay in your home and take care of your dog in the environment they know best.
