About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. Whether it’s putting pets into crates, or active play, or if meals need to be more hands on, I feel comfortable caring for them in pretty much any situation. I don’t have much experience caring for dogs with special needs, so some animals who need that type of assistance might be out of the realm of care I can provide.

About: Hi, I’m Caitlyn, you can also call me Wren! I have experience caring for several family dogs, one of which was a senior and had lots of mobility issues and pain, so I got comfortable helping her get around safely and giving her medicine. I have also watched many dogs of various sizes & needs for neighbors and friends. I love taking dogs on walks (if they are able), and am happy to match whatever their energy level is! I have a flexible schedule, working just part time and attending one college course, so I have plenty of availability to spend time with your fur babies! I understand the level of trust placed in me when going into other peoples’ homes to care for their pets, so I am conscious to always leave the space as I found it and go over with clients the spaces and items I should and should not interact with. About: I grew up with cats and dogs, and I've got two cats and a doggo of my own. I'll treat your pup like their part of my pack. I'm working from home on Mondays and in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. I can come home over lunch if boarding during the week. I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for taking walks. I can provide a separate room for pets, as well as a crate, if needed.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. Having companions of various dog breeds and cats. As well as lizards and Guinea pigs. I also have fostered many different cats and dogs through the Humane Society for North Texas for the past 5 years and have done pet sitting for friends and family. I work full time so but will always do my best to take time to care for and spend time with the fur babies throughout the day and adjust my schedules best I can. Whether stopping in before or after work. Or even-spending the whole days or weekends. I can definitely be flexible to meet the pets and families needs. My home has a fenced in yard and I would definitely be aware of any fencing at a clients home as well. Or any special cage/pet area they have. I love going for walks and getting outside and playing. My personal animals definitely have a routine, feeding and walk schedule to I would be attentive to whatever routine a client has for their pet.

About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of many types of dogs from shepherds to mini poodles. I’ve previously trained basic commands, taken pups on stimulating walks, and maintained each pups routine. :) I work remotely as a researcher with a flexible schedule, so I am available any day and am ready to build a consistent routine around your pet’s needs. During drop-ins and walks, I focus on engaging with each pet, actively playing, exercising, and winding down so they feel satisfied and content when you’re back.

About: I was an active Rover sitter from 2017-2022 before going on an extended leave. My partner and I have decided to lightly reopen (0-2 stays per month) our home for dogsitting clients because I miss it. If folks are interested in a housesitter and live closer to Edina, my partner Ryan is available for housesitting. He can only housesit for clients with dogs who can handle a standard work day alone. I have a broad experience with many different types of dogs. Since I was young, my family always took in strays and rehomes and it's something that I have continued with as I grew up. I have experience both owning and watching small dogs, large dogs, high energy (border collies and heelers), low energy, high work drive (malinios), anxious, reactive, confident, and multiple dogs. I also have experience managing multiple dog households in which one dog was dog aggressive/reactive. I state this since I know what it's like to try and get a sitter for the "problem child" of the household. I believe dogs are happier when they have a job and love working to find out what dogs enjoy doing! Some dogs enjoy using their nose, others enjoy climbing and jumping on things, some dogs like trick training and some dogs enjoy chasing the ball! But at the end of the night, all dogs like some cuddles and sleep. I currently have multiple dogs that are active in various dog sports, dog training, and walking (slowly getting back into running after an injury). I do not have a fully fenced yard but I also don't ever use my yard as a way of exercise, the yard is purely to go potty or to lay down in while I work outside. Your dog will always be on leash when going potty even if it's below freezing. I am a big believer that there's rarely bad weather just bad gear, your dog will get outside most days with me or at the very least some one-on-one time to play, train, or mental/physical exercise every day. Ryan has experience with anxious and high energy dogs but prefers dogs who enjoy cuddling and long meandering walks. Currently, I am available all day to care for Rover clients. I do have training commitments for Search and Rescue on Saturday mornings but your dog will be exercised either by Ryan during that time or exercised by me afterwards. Clients have their own separate room (my home office) for bedtime and when dogs need to be separated (calm time, feeding, needing to be left, etc). I do not require crating but strongly prefer to take on clients who crate their pups due to poor experiences of client dog’s shredding door frames. If your dog isn’t crate trained, we may have a conversation beforehand about a plan of action if your dog does destroy things when left alone.

About: My names Jeremiah and I'd love to take care of your pet. Been around pets my whole life. Mainly cats, but I love all animals. Most pets I've known or taken care of before have warmed up to me quick cause I let them get comfortable at their own pace and show lots of love and patience. Owned many cats myself and have gotten really engaged with taking care of other relatives or friends of relatives pets. I enjoy watching sports and trying out new food and going places I haven't been before. Huge fan of history and reading in my spare time. About: Growing up in a house of animals, and having a small zoo of my own (2 dogs and 2 cats), I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have dog and cat sat for friends for years. I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I understand that all Walks aren't created equal. My Walks always vary based off of the needs of the dog. I am also an avid cat lover. I am more than happy to stop by and feed, clean the litter box, and snuggle/play with your feline friends. Currently I work full time on the West side of the cities, but I have Sundays and Mondays off to help with your animal needs. My hope is to expand my availability over time. My current weekend lines up with some weekdays. I spend most of those days out and about, so I'd love to check in on some cute animal while I am at it! Slow and steady is always best. I am a believer in letting animals come to you. I have experience with a kennel trained and unkennel trained dogs. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I am experienced in walking all sizes of dogs.

About: I have always had dogs in my life and became the extended family pet-sitter in my early teen years. My care ranges from puppies to senior dogs. I am not a certified trainer but I follow any rules, skills or tricks your dog has developed or is working on. I have had 8 dogs in my lifetime. My oldest dog lived to be 15.5 years old. I've cared for dogs with medical needs - kidney disease, seizures, hip dysplasia, depression and anxiety. I have administered medication in all forms. I work remotely from home on a flexible schedule. My availability is not restricted. I am available at all times during the day and night for bathroom breaks, walks or any other care that is needed. At my home, I have a 6-foot privacy fence. Your dog will be safe in my space. Besides being able to roam in the backyard, I enjoy any type of walk - snifari, gentle stroll, get the heart rate going or a pee and poo mission. Rain, snow or full sun - I am willing to get moving. Furniture is available for lounging plus multiple dog beds throughout the house. A dog-bed right next to my desk at home, absolutely! If your dog is crate trained, I have a quiet space for set up. In your home, I will abide my your rules and schedule. In my home, I have two cats. Your dog must get along with cats.
