About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

“Paige was so sweet with our cats! She was patient and knew how to read their body language. She took the extra time to give them treats and pets and was very thorough. She provided detailed updates and pictures from her visits which were so fun to see while we were gone. Would definitely recommend!”

“Penny was my favorite sitter so far. She was great at communicating before, during, and after the trip. She left my house almost better than it was before I left. But most importantly, she bonded with my cats. I felt completely at ease while away because I could tell by her messages and photos that she genuinely liked my cats. Bonus... She also has a sense of humor. I will definitely be booking with Penny again.”

“Allison was great. She was very attentive to my cat and she was very understanding of the needs of a senior cat. I got regular updates and pictures and Allison put my cat, and me, very much at ease.”

“Donna took great care of our two cats over the holidays and updated us regularly. They seemed very happy and calmer than usual when we got back. It was our first time booking through Rover and we really appreciated the positive experience! Would be happy to have her sit for us again. Thanks!”

“Jayda is amazing! She took great care of my cat Ellie while I was on a two-week trip. Ellie is usually a very shy cat, and I was told before that she rarely showed up to sitters. To my surprise Ellie made friends with Jayda, was very affectionate, and definitely didn’t seem like she was stressed at all (that used to happen with previous sitters). Jayda provided daily updates on Ellie’s well-being as well. I’m beyond happy that I was able to find Jayda’s profile! 100% will return in the future!”

About: My favorite animal as a child was cats and I was blessed to be able to have and care for my own cat (Tiger Stripe) at the age of 7. I have many friends, neighbors, and family who have trusted me with the care of their cat(s). I have taken care of multiple cats who require medication and have special dietary needs. I treat every cat as if they were my own and love to let them cuddle in my lap or wherever they're most comfortable.

“Andrea was phenomenal! It is evident that caring for pets is her area of expertise. I was apprehensive about hiring someone to watch our cat but Andrea put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We received daily updates of texts and pictures which we looked forward to seeing at the end of the day. I look forward to having Andrea take care of our cat in the future and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Hannah was so great with our cats (one very timid, one very playful) and even helped put a cone on one of the cats which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!”

“Katie was great, she came through on a somewhat last minute request when my prior sitter was no longer available, and made it work! I came home to a pretty mellow kitty and had the ease of knowing she was getting some love while I was away. No complaints!!”

About: Hi, I’m Emily! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I feel so lucky to turn that passion into a career. I’ve worked as a wedding pet attendant, dog groomer, training, and even at a vet hospital—so I’m comfortable with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog is full of energy or a little shy, I meet them where they’re at and treat them like my own. I’d love the chance to get to know your furry family member and make their day a little brighter! Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life—I truly build my schedule around it. Whether I’m out walking dogs, checking in on pets, or helping with training, being around animals keeps me grounded and happy. I treat each visit like quality time, not just a task to check off. I’m used to working with a variety of pets throughout the week, so I’m very flexible and always make sure I have time to give each one the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow your routines so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any special needs like medications or training cues. I keep things clean and calm, and make sure your pet gets lots of love, playtime, and attention while you're away. If your pup is staying in my home, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I provide a cozy, safe environment with plenty of supervised play, cuddles, and outdoor time. I always prioritize their comfort and make sure they have everything they need to feel right at home.
“Brenna really went above and beyond! Highly highly recommend. I have a diabetic cat and another one on Prozac and to say I was worried to them is an understatement. Brenna noticed right away when my diabetic cat wasn’t eating, which can potentially be a big issue when on insulin. She then took it upon herself to play some music and sit with him while he ate and this worked like a charm! Also her frequent communication and journaling/pictures/videos put my mind at ease, she really is exceptional at what she does. Thank you Brenna”

About: I great up in a household of mainly dogs. I adopted my first cat 8 years ago and instantly became a cat person. I am known by family and friends as the person who befriends cats anywhere I go. My cat obsession has gone so far as to invade my home decore and clothing

About: I’ve cared for dogs since my teenage years, from puppies to seniors. Lately, I’ve fostered and adopted senior rescues. I consider dogs some of the most special creatures on Earth. I work full-time from home and love having dog-walking breaks throughout the day. I can sit in your home (as long as there’s wi-fi so I can log into work) or mine. My 15-year old Chihuahua mix passed away recently, so I currently do not have an animal companion in my home, though that doesn’t last very long with me! I do not have a fenced-in yard; however, there is a walking path across the front street of my home and a city park across the street in the back.
About: I have had my own dogs (and cats, chickens, bunnies, etc!) my whole life. I have also been relied on by friends, family, and neighbors for years to care for their fur babies while traveling. My husband and I also foster dogs through various local rescues! I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule. Usually, we are both home and able to provide 24/7 care for the animals we board! I have a very large fenced yard with two dog pools for hot summer days. Our chickens stay in a separate enclosed area. My home offers multiple rooms and, due to the fact that we often foster, we have several kennels and other “safe space” areas if your fur baby feels safer hanging out or sleeping separately from the rest of the pack. Although, we are a household that encourages pets to curl up on the furniture! We have 3 dogs- a collie/Aussie mix, yellow lab, and husky. All are friendly, up to date on vaccines, and love other dogs! Lastly, we are a cat friendly home but do have separate spaces available if separation from them is best.
About: I have experience working with various dog (and cat) breeds since my childhood through adulthood. I have experience pet sitting, fostering and raising/training dogs. I am experienced giving medications and taking care of fur babies with special needs or requests. I love taking bigger, more energetic dogs for runs, playing fetch, and getting their energy out through active play times. I also love smaller, older or less active dogs, I have an 12 year old puggle, Fritzie, who I have had since he was a puppy, playing tug, going for walks and short play times is all in our daily routine. I would be happy to spend time with your furry companion giving them lots of love, attention and meetings all of their needs! I am currently back to work. I work 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, therefore, your pup would need to be comfortable relaxing at home during the day on the week days and have open availability on the weekends for all the play, adventures and snuggles. I am available to stay at your place to maintain your pups regular routine as much as possible. Due to recently relocating I am unable to board pets at my current home, but at looking forward to being able to do so very soon! I am available to come to your home for in home boarding, doggie daycare or daily exercise. I am an outdoor enthusiast who loves having a four legged running partner, exploring near by dog parks or strolling around the neighborhood on a daily walk and playtime. I love sharing the daily moments and bonding with your pet as well as sharing pictures of them with you while you are away.

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. About: Hi, I’m Caitlyn, you can also call me Wren! I have experience caring for several family dogs, one of which was a senior and had lots of mobility issues and pain, so I got comfortable helping her get around safely and giving her medicine. I have also watched many dogs of various sizes & needs for neighbors and friends. I love taking dogs on walks (if they are able), and am happy to match whatever their energy level is! I have a fairly flexible schedule, working part time and attending a few college courses, so I have plenty of availability to spend time with your fur babies! I understand the level of trust placed in me when going into other peoples’ homes to care for their pets, so I am conscious to always leave the space as I found it and go over with clients the spaces and items I should and should not interact with. I am happy to provide extra services like grabbing mail & watering plants if you would like, just let me know!
“Remy is great with my dog! She is communicative and thorough. I know my dog is in great care with her. She is also a great photographer and sends the best pictures! I highly recommended Remy!”

“Jackie is absolutely the best! She took Siggy on nice long walks, kept us informed of little things. She's been our caretaker now twice and we have had zero problems. We hope she's available every time we need her in the future.”

About: I have had pets all my life and currently have a Great Dane who is the sweetest dog.i have had cats, dogs, and a rabbit. I can take care of pets on the weekends. I love to stay active so dog walks are fun. I work from home during the week. I take my dog outside frequently for potty breaks. Long walks are her favorite. She’s not a big cuddler but i do like dogs that like to cuddle.

About: Caring for animals has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and owned several of my own as an adult, so I know firsthand what it means to love an animal like family and what owners need when they hand them off to someone else. I'm comfortable with the full range of needs: puppies, senior pets, animals with medical conditions or special diets, and multiple pets at once. I've administered daily medications, followed strict feeding routines, and handled it all without missing a beat. Because I don't currently have pets of my own, I bring a lot of enthusiasm to every sit. Honestly, I miss having animals around and your pets get the full benefit of that. I take this seriously enough that clients have flown me across the country to care for their animals, which I think says more than anything else I could write in a bio. If you're looking for someone who will love your pets like their own and give you genuine peace of mind while you're away, I'd love to meet both you and them. Pet care isn't something I squeeze into my day. It is my day. I'm fully available and not juggling a rigid 9-to-5, which means your pets get consistent attention and care throughout the day rather than just morning and evening check-ins. Walks, feeding times, medications, cuddles, everything happens on their schedule, not mine. Whether you need someone for a quick drop-in or an extended house sit, I'm flexible and can make it work. I primarily care for pets in their own home because I believe animals are happiest in a familiar environment. Uprooting them from their space adds unnecessary stress, and keeping them in their element means they stay calmer, eat better, and settle in faster. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I stick to your pet's existing routine as closely as possible, follow all instructions to the letter, and keep everything clean and tidy throughout my stay. I send regular photo updates so you always know how things are going without having to ask. My goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy pet and a home that looks exactly as you left it. The trust you place in me when you hand over your keys and your animals is something I take seriously, and I make sure you feel that from day one.
“Donna was awesome. Have two sweet but strong dogs and she took great care of them on their walks. We were staying at a hotel locally and needed our dogs walked mid day. Highly recommend her!”
“Tilia did a great job with our pups. She was very kind and generous with her time and made it super easy for me as the owner. I barely noticed her coming and going but I know the dogs got some good exercise in. I appreciate her flexibility with splitting the walk between our older and younger pup who walk at very different paces.”

“Sy has been a lifesaver helping me with Lilly during the week!! She was super quick to respond to my initial request, which I was so grateful for because I needed services suddenly. And to top it all off, Lilly loves her so I feel like she’s in great hands whenever I’m gone! She goes above and beyond, even helping me with her medication when I asked. And she seems to really care about Lilly’s wellbeing, like she’s her own. Definitely recommend!!”

About: I have not been without pets since I was born. My beloved senior pittie recently passed away so my one floor house with southern facing windows, and a good sized fenced backyard to have zoomies and sunbathing in is open to dog(s) for boarding! I have dog beds (washed after every visit), water bowl, and toys ready if needed. I have experience with senior dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with additional needs, and dogs who are reactive. I understand how hard it is to find a pet-sitter or walker who you can trust, especially with rescue dogs. I will follow your instructions to a T. You are the one who knows your dog the best. Having a peace of mind is a huge thing and you will get it with me. I look forward to loving your dog(s)! I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can be home most of time if it is needed for your dog(s). If I do need to step out, it will only be two hours, maximum. Not all dogs are the same therefore not all the care/walks are the same. They will get care/walks that are the best for them. It's up to us (human beings) to ensure that they are in the safest environment possible.

“Kristen and her family helped us out over a weekend. Her young girls have a lot of energy but she kept and eye on our Leo to be sure they were good with him. He sleeps a lot and they let him do that. All evidence was that Leo was cared for.”

“This was our first time using in-home boarding for our dog, Ruby, and we were nervous about what to expect. Ashley was great! She answered all of our questions and let us know what to expect. During the stay, Ashley sent us pictures and updates. When we picked up Ruby, she clearly had a good time! We will definitely having Ruby stay with Ashley again in the future.”

“Teddy’s stay with Nichole and Jacob was his first overnight since he was adopted. They sent plenty of photos and loved him like he was their own. I will definitely use them again and may even be setting up play dates with Teddy’s new friend Koda (their dog).”

“Mckenzie was amazing for our nervous dog Winnie - she kept us updated with pictures and made sure Winnie was well cared for! She was also super flexible with pick up time when our flight kept getting delayed. Highly recommend having your pups stay with Mckenzie!”

“Rosie was very happy at Kyle’s. We saw some sweet photos of her during her stay. We appreciated your flexibility in picking her up too. Thanks much. We will definitely request to rebook with Kyle.”

“Catherine and her husband took excellent care of our dog. Very communicative with pics, video and messages. Made us feel very relaxed with the care of one of our family.”

About: Our beloved dog passed away earlier this year. Our family would love to take care of your furry friend in our home before we get another dog in the future. We are mostly away from home during the weekdays and home on the weekends, so your dog would need to be OK being home alone for 8-10 hours if it’s during the week. We have a fully fenced backyard and very walkable neighborhood. Multi-story home with wood, tile and carpeted floors. We have many dog toys and two kids who will love to play with your pet!
“Jenny and Mark took excellent care of our dog over 2 weeks. Communication was easy and we received regular updates. I would definitely have them dog sit again!”

“Amanda and Leif are absolutely amazing!!!! They responded to us so quickly to doggy-sit our Rott/Shepherd mix (Bear) while we went on a family vacation. They asked all the appropriate questions and it was very clear they wanted to make Bear feel at home while we were away. They were responsive, flexible, communicative, and so friendly!! We got several picture updates while on our trip and it made us feel so comfortable with being away. Bear looked so comfortable and happy in the pictures. He was taken on so many walks and played with… We could tell he was shown so much love! When we picked him up, he was still giving love to Amanda! And she was soooo great in the information she shared with us and it reassured us that they all had a great time together. We are so thankful as this is our first Rover experience with Bear. Because of how awesome Amanda and Leif were, we are totally going to be back! If you’re thinking of booking your pup to be with them, absolutely do!!”

“We love Takenya! This was our third time boarding our dog Daisy with her and as always, she took wonderful care of her and sent lots of photos and videos. Daisy is always so excited to see her, which makes leaving her so much easier. Takenya will continue to be our go to sitter whenever we’re out of town.”
