“Erin was a life saver this week! With my husband out of town for a week and me with my hands full with a three year old and baby, getting out to walk our energetic and LOUD husky was going to be a challenge. Erin was always right on time and such a great communicator. I liked and trusted her immediately and Aurora Dog warmed up to her right away as well. She started waiting at the door for her in the morning. Thank you so much Erin!”

With a degree in horticulture, I also offer plant care while you're away, ensuring both your pets and plants are well-cared for. Recently, I lost my beloved Giant Schnauzer, Hansel, who lived to be nearly 12 years old. While it has been a challenging time, I’ve found joy in providing care and companionship to my clients’ pets. I began pet sitting for family and friends over seven years ago. After my first year, word-of-mouth referrals connected me with new clients, and now I’m excited to expand my services through Rover. With a flexible and open schedule, I’m happy to accommodate your pet care needs. I aim to make your pet feel safe, comfortable and loved in your absence. I’m experienced with administering pill and liquid medications and am happy to follow any special feeding or care instructions. Puppies receive potty breaks every two hours, while older dogs are walked every 4-6 hours, or as requested. I enjoy spending quality time outdoors with pets and going on walks. About: I'm an all-around animal lover and always have been. I grew up with dogs, bunnies, birds, turtles, guinea pigs and even had a snake. I currently am a fur-mom to Miley, a high-energy Rotty mix who has taught me how to handle dog-reactive dogs in many situations. I'm also fur-mom to Bubbles, my little holland lop love nugget. My time is flexible, as this is currently my only job. Care depends on your pets usual or desired schedule, and we go from there! I prefer to care for pets in your home for their comfort and safety, so they have an easier time getting to know me while surrounded by familiar things and routines. I can simply stop by for mid-day exercise and play sessions, walks, pickup and take to the park, or even do overnights that include some house sitting duties if thats what you need! And of course, I always make sure to send a reasonable amount of photos and/or text updates during your pets time with me :)

I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. I am more than happy to stop by and feed, clean the litter box, and snuggle/play with your feline friends. Currently I work full time on the West side of the cities, but I have Sundays and Mondays off to help with your animal needs. My hope is to expand my availability over time. My current weekend lines up with some weekdays. I spend most of those days out and about, so I'd love to check in on some cute animal while I am at it! Slow and steady is always best. About: I care for each pet as if they were my own. I walk, run and play with them. I treat every pet like a friend, offering comfort, attention and emotional connection. I bathe my dog about every other month. We have a routine in the morning with a walk before breakfast. Sometimes a walk around lunch time and another one after work is done. He is well loved and treated like a family member. I work full time Monday through Friday. I am in my office 3 half days and full time at home the other 2 days. I could stop at someone’s place on my way home to spend time with a dog and walk them. I can also stop over after work and later in the evening. In my home I have a fenced in yard that my dog can run free and play. If I am in a clients home I would make sure that there is nothing that the dog/puppy could get into after spending time with them/walking them.

“Kristine does a great job with my dog. He can be stubborn or get scared on walks and want to go home. If that is the case she will stay and play with him in the backyard. But she also gets creative and communicates with me on strategies to get him to walk and it has worked. Overall great communication and very timely. Would recommend her to walk or care for your dog.”

About: I’ve always grown up with a dog or two in the house. I’ve helped to take care of them ever since I was about 7 and I’ve helped train them since I was 18! Growing up I also dog sat and cat sat for our neighbors and friends. 4 years ago I adopted 2 cats and they are my whole world. Since then I’ve learned all about cat care including trimming nails and safe road trips with cats! I currently work four 8-hour shifts a week. Outside of that I’m available for your pet! I am home most evenings (may work 1/2 evening shifts a week). With 2 cats at home, I’ve learned to balance the play and feeding times before and after work so they are satisfied throughout the day.
