“A friend of mine told me about Rover.com when I talked to him about our predicament with finding a dog sitting solution during our daughters wedding with an over night stay. We also had another daughter with two dogs coming into town who also needed to find care for their dogs. So, after a few minutes on rover.com, I found Mike and felt this could be a nice fit for us. Mike and his family are very peaceful and relaxed people yet thoughtful and cautious with caring for a number of dogs. In our case we brought two Labradors and two lab/mix size dogs. Mike was very easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable as first timers with Rover and his family and his home. Our pets stayed with Mike for 24 hrs. From the time we dropped our dogs off, it want long and we had a photo of the dogs just relaxing and feedback from Mike that all is well. Several more pics came through during evening and next morning. Mike helped us totally focus on our daughters special day without any worry about our dogs. Both pups were clearly pampered and well loved in their home away from home, and got plenty of exercise in the spacious yard. If you need boarding for your furry family, you can't find much better than this! Jazmin and Mary will definitely be the first call I make next time I need boarding for my pups. I would also note that one of my two is an elderly, blind lab who is diabetic and needs shots twice daily, and that was no problem at all for Mary. Finding a boarder who is willing to administer shots is really hard, and I am so glad we connected!”

About: I care for each pet as if they were my own. I walk, run and play with them. I treat every pet like a friend, offering comfort, attention and emotional connection. I bathe my dog about every other month. We have a routine in the morning with a walk before breakfast. Sometimes a walk around lunch time and another one after work is done. He is well loved and treated like a family member. I work full time Monday through Friday. I am in my office 3 half days and full time at home the other 2 days. I could stop at someone’s place on my way home to spend time with a dog and walk them. I can also stop over after work and later in the evening. I grew up with multiple dogs; German Shephards, Dobermans, min-pin, etc. I currently have a German Shepherd mix. He’s almost 5 years old and is great around other animals. About: I have had pets my whole life and have such an unconditional love for animals. I had 2 sphynx that I cared for and loved like my children. July, 2019 my female sphynx went into heart failure. After being told she would likely not make it, I was devastated. I refused to stop fighting for her. As she spent 6 days in ICU,she fought so hard and it was a blessing that I was able to bring her home. Filled with excitement about her coming home also came fear. I was given a bag of medication I was responsible to dispense and I have never done that before. I also had her litter brother that I immediately got tested for heart disease and it came back positive and was placed on preventative medication. For the last 11 months I have been a cat mom and a caregiver to every need. Administering medication 2x or more daily, strict diets, schedules and multiple appointments. Unfortunately my baby girl crossed the rainbow bridge on Aug 1, 2019 and my sweet boy, May 4,2020. I remember how thankful I was to come to this site and search for people that were willing to help care for and love my cats. The peace of mind I was given to have someone care for them was a blessing. I never left them alone. Whether I was grocery shopping or going to work, someone was always caring for them. They were both given clean bills of health their whole life, they were given top of the line food and bathed weekly. I didn't miss a step to loving and caring for them. I provided and received such unconditional love. Knowing that no matter what I did, their HCM was silent, deadly and incurable. I would be honored to be able to provided a loving atmosphere for someones pet, as I grieve the loss of mine. I have administered medications , but do not have special training in it. I grew up around dogs and know getting their daily exercise is very important to their health. My husband and I just relocated to Michican, so my schedule is currently pretty flexible. “Dropping off my pup with John & Teri felt like leaving him with family. They are incredibly kind, and geniunely care for and love your dog like their own. It helps that they speak doodle, too. The one caution is if you leave your dog there for too many days, they might end up not wanting to come back home. If you have a doodle and need a sitter, you’re doing your dog a disservice if you choose anyone else! 11/10 recommend.”
“A friend of mine told me about Rover.com when I talked to him about our predicament with finding a dog sitting solution during our daughters wedding with an over night stay. We also had another daughter with two dogs coming into town who also needed to find care for their dogs. So, after a few minutes on rover.com, I found Mike and felt this could be a nice fit for us. Our quick feedback regarding the entire experience and Mike as a care provider for our dogs is this: Fantastic! Exceeded expectations! Highly recommended! Now the reasons we say that... Mike and his family are very peaceful and relaxed people yet thoughtful and cautious with caring for a number of dogs. In our case we brought two Labradors and two lab/mix size dogs. Mike was very easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable as first timers with Rover and his family and his home. Our pets stayed with Mike for 24 hrs. From the time we dropped our dogs off, it want long and we had a photo of the dogs just relaxing and feedback from Mike that all is well. Several more pics came through during evening and next morning. Mike helped us totally focus on our daughters special day without any worry about our dogs. When we picked them up, one of our dogs looked so content standing behind Mike as if to say; "I like my new pack, I think I'll stay here a while longer"! Lol! “Mary and her family were amazing! To be honest, I'm not sure the dogs wanted to come home. We got pictures everyday, and every picture showed happy, super content dogs. Both pups were clearly pampered and well loved in their home away from home, and got plenty of exercise in the spacious yard. If you need boarding for your furry family, you can't find much better than this! Jazmin and Mary will definitely be the first call I make next time I need boarding for my pups. I would also note that one of my two is an elderly, blind lab who is diabetic and needs shots twice daily, and that was no problem at all for Mary. Finding a boarder who is willing to administer shots is really hard, and I am so glad we connected!”

“Our experience with this wonderful family was just that, wonderful! The entire family helped care for Bailey just like she was their own. Lots of snuggles, love & attentive care. Our family had just lost our dear Betsy (our older blue heeler). We had to let her go in January of this year due to illness & age. It was very clear that Bailey was missing her. So when she met some new friends like these great people, she was in heaven. Along with variety of 4 legged friends. We received lots of updates and pics on our vacation and that really put our minds at ease.
