About: I have had cats in my life since I was a child. I have always loved them! One of the first things I did when I was out on my own (that was a long time ago!) was to adopt a kitten. I have been a cat mom ever since. My husband and I currently have 2 cats, Charlie, who is quite a character, and Reese, who is shy and sweet. Upon meeting her the next morning, all my apprehensions left! She was genuinely welcoming to me, but more importantly, to my pup, Bella. You know how you kinda wish your pet would look back and wonder why you're leaving them especially at a brand new place? Bella pranced right up to Kristine's house and was ready for the day's adventure. Clearly, I was more nervous than Bella. I have years of experience caring for my own cats and dogs, along with training experience through courses such as Puppy Training 101 and training for fearful/reactive dogs. I’m also an experienced foster provider for two local animal rescues. Fostering requires additional vetting, training, and an in-home visit, and I’m proud to help rescue dogs on their journey to finding their forever homes. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, and I’m happy to care for cats, too. For boarding, I’m unable to accept dogs who are aggressive toward people or other animals so that I can keep everyone safe and comfortable. I also telework multiple days per week, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks and plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether your pup wants walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a cozy place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their stay to what they enjoy most! 🐶💕 On weekends, I’m home most of the time. I also work from home multiple days per week, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I may occasionally be out for a short time for work, errands, or shopping, but I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, attention, and care throughout the day. In my home, your pet can enjoy a mix of playtime, walks, relaxation, and social time with our resident pup, depending on their personality and comfort level. For care in your home, I’m available for drop-in visits and sitting, including check-ins, playtime, potty breaks, and walks. I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual routine and needs. For boarding I will require proof of vaccination/current flea prevention. I will not accept behaviors or aggressive dogs in my home unfortunately.
About: Between my own family and my wife's, I've had alot of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I've house sat for elderly dogs and raised and trained our own puppy. I've rescued half a dozen lost dogs from our neighborhood. Every dog I meet gets lots of love and yours would be no exception! We already have our miniature poodle pup Winston, so your pup would fit right in with us! I am working from home the vast majority of the time and if I was gone, my wife would be there. As the kid who was always the first to notice when a dog needed to go out and do its business, I'm very attentive to the needs of all dogs. Your pup will be a part of our family during their stay and kept company by my whole family.
About: I’ve been caring for my current dog for 5 years, previously I had a pup that I cared for 2 years. Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk their pups, keep them fed on schedule. Those early experiences taught me how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s unique personality. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me, and that long‑standing trust from the people around me is something I’m really proud of. I am also a huge fan of training pets, though im not certified to do so as yet. This is currently my full time job at the moment as I transition in the workforce. That means more time for your pet, more time for play and fun or just naps. My space is clean, pet‑friendly, and thoughtfully arranged to keep every pet safe and comfortable. I’ve created a home environment where pets can feel relaxed, stimulated, and genuinely cared for. My neighborhood has beautiful, safe trails just a short walk away, so dogs get plenty of outdoor time, fresh air, and enriching adventures suited to their energy level. Inside, I’ve set up a designated nap room — a quiet, cozy space where pets can unwind, recharge, or enjoy some peaceful alone time whenever they need it.
