“Carrie was very responsive and took great care of our doggies! She gave them many walks and kept in touch with photos and updates. She navigated behavioral quirks of the dogs with grace and wisdom.”

“Sarah took great care of my dog. I got lots of photos of my dog having the time of her life. She kept me informed of how well my dog was doing and loved on my dog. Sarah took great attention to my dog’s special diet and her behavior problems which helped me sleep well.”

“We felt so comfortable leaving Katniss with Sarah and Richard. Right from our meet and greet we knew we'd have no worries leaving her with their family. You can tell that they (and their kids) have such love for animals. We received an evening update with photos and a video each night of Katniss' stay which showed us just how much fun she was having with their dog, Sadie. We will definitely be using Sarah and Richard again in the future!”

“It was our first time on the Rover site and we needed someone to board our sweet girls Betsy & Bailey for about 2 weeks. We were moving and we knew they would not do well with all the change at once. And what we found was the best! Jazmin and her great family took them in as if they were their own pups. The love, snuggles and support they received from the entire family was immeasurable. We will be doing this again soon! I’m talking about top notch dog people! We are truly blessed to have found Jazmin!”
“Emily and her family took great care of our dog. We felt at ease on our trip because of her reassuring updates. She handled our dog’s high maintenance feeding without question. We really appreciate the care he got.”

“Mike did such a great job taking care of my Romeo for four days. I got photos or a video of my dog each day and I could tell he was being well cared for and having a good time. Mike treated him like part of their family. I highly recommend him and will definitely let my Romeo vacation with him again. ??”

“Michelle was amazing with Arlo!! We got so many updates and she was very communicative. Our puppy is very energetic and she handled it like a pro. Even got him to start taking naps which we will be continuing! The whole family showed him love and we were so grateful to know he was safe and extremely cared for while we were gone. Absolutely recommend her!”

“James and Jennifer were great! I felt confident leaving my cat and dog with them. My shy dog even warmed up to James after a short time. They were super responsive and communicative. Will definitely book with them again.”

“Joanna and Brian did an awesome job with my pup. I appreciated the updates along with pictures they sent me of my dog smokey while I was away. The next time I need a pet sitter I will not hesitate to call on them again.”

“It may sound cliche, but in this case it also true that Robert truly enjoys being with and caring for your dog. He’s responsive, conscientious, and sent a few great photos of our dog relaxing on her bed - she appeared to immediately feel safe and cared for. Thank you!”

“Serah was an amazing person to have as our little Lita’s foster momma while we had an extended vacation. She kept us in the loop with texts and pictures. It was so reassuring to have our pup taken care of and loved as her own. Lita loved the fenced in yard and having Riley, Serah’s dog, as her playmate. We highly recommend Serah. We will definitely choose her again as our first choice in dog sitters.”

“Sally is the best! Beginning with the initial meet and greet, I could tell that my dog, Joy, felt instantly comfortable. Joy has a bit of separation anxiety, so Sally’s warm and welcoming nature made the stay extra enjoyable for Joy. By the end of the trip, Joy was not wanting to leave. Highly recommend!”

“Zema loves going to Bethany's house! They spend ample time together going for walks & playing in the yard (weather permitted) and snuggles on the couch. Zema always comes home happy and tired 🙂”

“I cannot recommend Mario enough!! I was nervous to leave my anxious senior cat but Mario put so much effort into making sure he was comfortable and relaxed for his entire stay! I received daily updates on how my cat was doing/settling in and will absolutely be boarding him with Mario for all future trips!”

“Jessica and her husband were great. My dog has separation anxiety, but she was in no hurry to leave their home. And, she's been relaxed since her stay with them. Communication was great. I will definitely use Jessica again!”

About: Hi! I’m a caring, dependable, and attentive pet sitter with firsthand experience caring for my family cat, Cody. Although Cody no longer lives with me, caring for him gave me valuable experience understanding a cat’s routines, personality, and individual needs. I’ve also been an experienced cat and dog sitter for friends and family while they’ve been out of town. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, providing playtime and companionship, taking dogs for walks, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I also live near a great local park that’s perfect for dog walks and getting some fresh air and exercise! I’d love to give your pup a fun, safe walk while you’re busy or away. I treat every pet in my care with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention. My goal is to make sure your pets feel cared for and comfortable while giving you peace of mind I work part-time, so I’m home most of the day and have a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for regular daytime check-ins, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship. I can also adjust my schedule around your pet’s specific routine and needs I live in a quiet, fairly empty apartment in St. Paul with plenty of open space. Since there isn’t much furniture or clutter, there are limited potential hazards for pets. I keep my home clean, calm, and secure so cats can safely explore, relax, and feel comfortable during their stay. There is nearby walkable park as well

Keyly was amazing! I can't say enough about how grateful we were to find her for our Piper to stay with for the weekend. She took time outside of the booking to make sure our dogs got along (she has her adorable boy Leo, who is the sweetest little gentleman), and I got twice-daily updates to make sure she was doing fine (which this nervous Nelly of a dog mom was grateful for). Piper acclimated well, and Keyly was understanding and patient with Piper's quirks. I 1000% will be reaching out to Keyly again for boarding Piper and any future pets we have.

Geri was wonderful! We booked boarding for Willard. Geri paid close attention to Willard for the weekend. She was very easy to communicate with and Willard was well taken care of. I will recommend her to anyone and will book her in the future when needed. We felt at ease leaving him in her hands.

Mandy was THE BEST with our dogs! She went over and beyond to provide the most incredible care for them. Our dogs didn’t want to leave they had such a good time and fit right in. Mandy was an excellent communicator and even sent us precious photos of our dogs making memories! She was very clean and just an overall trustworthy and kind person. I would recommend her any day!

Stacy and Michael are wonderful hosts! Their dog, Nina, is such a sweet girl and was great company for my Lyra! They watched her over the 4th of July weekend knowing my Lyra is a bit of a scardy pup. (She gets pretty spooked by fireworks and likes to go hide). They showed a lot of patience and kindness with her, even helped her get unstuck from one of her hiding places. When I arrived Lyra up, they were actively holding and comforting her. These two really care about their guests and I'm not going to hesitate to bring Lyra by again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
