“We were so happy with the care Claire took of our beagle, Lucy, while we were out of town for a week. She kept us well updated and it was clear that Lucy was being cared for and loved. Would definitely be comfortable leaving Lucy with her again in the future!”

“Carrie and Craig took such good care of Archie! Great pictures and communication the entire time we were on vacation. We are so lucky we found such a loving family to take care of our doggie when we were away.”
“Betsy was great! I left my giant German shepherd mix puppy who has separation issues with her for the weekend and she did an awesome job accommodating him. I felt at ease knowing she has many years experience and accepts that all dogs have their own quirks.”

“We received our happy dogs pictures everyday, and we can see our dogs are relaxed and having fun in videos and pictures! Highly recommend Mike to be your dog sitter!!”

“Rozalyn is our new primary dog-sitter. We finally found out sitter who share the same vision! Rosalyn is wonderful and caring! She took really good care of Kit, our senior chihuahua mix and included her in the family. Kit comes home happy and content!”

“I’ve never left my Smudge before. Kaitlyn you are a God send! Thank you for the videos to reassure me that he was happy. He obviously loves you! I will only call you for my baby! Highly recommend you for anyone that is nervous about leaving their pet!! ❤️”

“Janine takes such great care of our dog Blaze! She goes above and beyond our expectations everytime he is with her! We know he loves to stay with Janine because she really treats him like her own pet. He loves her too. As soon as he sees me pack his bag, he knows where he is going and can't wait. All I have to say is "You get to go to Janine's house" and he immeadiately is wagging his tail. Blaze loves all of the walks Janine takes him on with neighborhood dog pals and their owners. She also, plays with him alot. We know he is in safe, caring hands with Janine!”

“Winnie stayed with Tracy again for over a week and it was wonderful and perfect the entire time. Tracy is a phenomenal communicator and truly takes care of the dogs in her watch like they are her own. Winnie comes back happy, tired, and beautifully brushed. Winnie is going back for a weekend in May and we know it’ll be just as great.”

“Joanna and Brian did an awesome job with my pup. I appreciated the updates along with pictures they sent me of my dog smokey while I was away. The next time I need a pet sitter I will not hesitate to call on them again.”

“This was our first Rover experience and I couldn't be happier! We had open communication and photos the whole time. Carrie was great for Burt and even made special accomodations. Highly recommend!!”

“Ashley was amazing! Juno is very shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to strangers. Ashley was very patient with her and provided a calm and supportive environment. She also took Juno on at least 1 long walk a day - if not two and had a fantastic birthday celebration for Juno with a hike and raw bone!!! I would go back to Ashley in a heartbeat. I also really appreciated her daily updates with photos of Juno so I knew she was doing well and having fun.”

About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. I would love to have the opportunity to spoil your pet as well as give you a safe space to leave your furry friend! Over the summer I am out of work and home with my pups and kids. In late August I will be headed back to work at a school nearby but working relatively short hours. We love to go on walks, to the dog park, the human park or just lounge in the back yard. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a large back yard. It is not fenced in but I do have a long line. I have a 12 year old pup who is a calm, unbothered queen and a year old pup who loves everyone and everything. In addition, I have 2 kiddos that are incredibly respectful of other pets space and will love your pets as much as their own however they can be crated if needed 😉
“can't recommend Nicole & David enough! They took such wonderful care of our Lottie. From photo and video updates it was clear she was in loving hands. Lottie looked so happy and relaxed, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing she was being treated like family. Truly grateful for the care and attention—thank you for making her feel so special!”

“Giana was absolutely wonderful! Took amazing care of our Lily (5yo great dane with terrible separation anxiety), barely 1 week post op from a tail amputation. She was so sweet and compassionate with Lily as well as went the extra mile to make sure she was comfortable as well as making sure her meds were taken. Would 100% trust Giana with Lily and any other pet again in the future. Giana was a wonderful communicator who sent updates & pictures as well as responded quickly to any questions/messages. Can’t thank her & her husband enough, as well recommend them!”

“Bethany was so warm and welcoming and a perfect fit for my anxious very attached dog Hawkie. We were able to coordinate a visit in advance to see how he did and he did so well! I knew this was a perfect fit for my dog. I received photos and regular updates on how he was doing and it really put my mind at ease to know my sweet baby was being loved and pampered. I will definitely book with Bethany again in the future. She is a true gem! Thank you so much!”

“I was extremely happy with Louie’s Christmas stay with Jennifer and her family. She took the best care of him and he felt right at home. I was completely at ease my whole trip. She also communicated really well and sent photos the whole time!”

“Jennifer was fantastic with our dog, making her feel at home to the point she even cuddled. This is high praise straight from our dog, who is not typically a fan of cuddling. Jennifer updated us with pictures throughout the week which was appreciated. She has a lovely fenced in backyard. We will definitely schedule with Jennifer in the future!”

Ashley was perfect for our Freya. Freya was a little timid going to a new place, but as soon as we met and spoke with Ashley, I knew she would be in good hands. Ashley has a calming, caring demeanor. She welcomed Freya, who warmed right up to her. Her own dog was sweet and lovely and welcomed Freya as well. Ashley's home is in a very quiet neighborhood with nice walking areas. She sent photos of Freya on walks, resting on the sofa, and even performing a trick for a treat. I was very happy with her and will call her again next time we need a Rover.com. Lori M.

Julie and Jessie and their family were outstanding hosts for my dog Gigi. Communication was great, she sent photos and updates daily, and checked with me with things she wasn’t certain on to prioritize Gigis safety. It was clear to me that they had care for my dogs comfort and happiness while in their care. It was also awesome to have my dog experience a variety of people and company!

Jennifer was absolutely terrific! She cared for our mini-goldendoodle as we would have and beyond. We were sent updates and felt very at ease with leaving her for the first time. She even took our storm frightened dog into the basement for a cuddle and nap during a thunderstorm. Would definitely have Jennifer look after our dog again!

My dog was well cared for - even pampered by being allowed to sleep on the humans' bed. She came home happy and a little tired after a weekend with Danielle's 2 much younger, more active, but very gentle dogs. Danielle has a very large, secure yard for the dogs to play in and explore. Between the outdoor space and the young dogs to play with, Flicka got lots of good exercise.

Im a first time dog mom and this was my first time putting my pup with someone else while I was at work. The family was so sweet to my doggy even though he was super nervous and they were extra flexible in allowing him to stay an extra hour after my work meeting ran over.

Monika was GREAT with our 2 dogs! She watched them while we were off getting married and then off to our honeymoon. Over the 16 day long stay they had with her, Monika would send daily pictures and updates which we LOVED!!! She cared for my Bubbles even with a cruciate ligament tear in one of her knees. Monika had previous experience with her own dog and was able to care for Bubbles and her injury until she could get in for surgery. Overall, you can tell Monika LOVE animals and LOVES what she does. Leaving our dogs in Monika’s care is the best decision we could’ve made! :)

We had an amazing experience boarding Mochi at Roselyn’s home! From the very beginning, Roselyn was kind, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving Mochi in her care. Her dog and cat are incredibly friendly, and it was so heartwarming to see how much they loved Mochi. Mochi felt right at home and clearly enjoyed the companionship and welcoming environment. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Mochi was happy, safe, and well cared for. Rozalyn kept us updated, shared pictures and videos, and it was obvious she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We truly appreciated the love and attention Mochi received during the stay. Highly recommend Roselyn to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy dog-boarding experience. We would absolutely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
