If you know anything about a dachshund, they are loving, needy and can be barky and particular about new friends. We had previously never left our dogs with anyone other than family, but needed to find a sitter while we were away for our wedding for a week with family. Penny blew it out of the park from the moment we did our meet and greet. She has such a warm and calm presence that our dogs instantly became comfortable around (which is no small feat when you’re meeting a dachshund!). Kaiden was amazing!! It is rare to find someone that is good with both my dog and my cat but he rocked it out. He administered eye drops to my spicy cat and sent me the cutest updates! Laura house-sits for our dogs when we are away. She is great with them and they really like her. We hate to leave our dogs behind when we're travelling, but sometimes it can't be helped and knowing that Laura is staying at the house with them helps.
