“Heather did an outstanding job taking care of our dogs, Raisin and Hazel. She communicated with us daily and sent adorable pictures of our dogs playing and having fun. I will definitely use her in the future!”

“Judi was great with our nervous pup who hates to be alone. She was a very conscientious houseguest and communicated with us regularly about how our girl was doing. We're really happy we booked her.”

“No need to read through any more profiles, Kari is THE BEST! We had never hired a professional, or used Rover before, but Kari was amazing and we couldn't have had a better experience. I am a protective dog Mama, and we had never had anyone we didn't know care for our furry family member, much less for 12 days. Kari came for a meet and greet a couple weeks prior to our vacation (with a Christmas gift for Baxter!) and even agreed to come take a walk with us closer to the time we left so that he could see her again closer to our departure. She had a willing spirit the whole time and never made me feel like I was crazy for needing a little reassurance at the beginning. Kari stayed in our home for 12 days and never once did I question the care Baxter was receiving. She kept Baxter on his routine, (important because we have rescue dog that is very anxious when we leave,) administered meds, was extremely easy to communicate with, sent many, many pictures and updates, and even did the extras like shoveling and putting our trash out! She went above and beyond at every turn and we arrived home to a very relaxed dog. We have been really nervous to try these services because it's someone you don't really know staying in your home with your pet. Kari made us totally comfortable throughout the whole process and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone else needing her services. In fact we have already hired Kari again because we had such an outstanding experience! Hire her, you won't regret it.”

“Noelle did great staying with our husky who has separation anxiety. She took her for multiple walks and kept us updated with photos. We would not hesitate to have her watch Izze again in the future!”

“excellent gal and great pricing too! she really goes above and beyond her pay grade and puts in the extra mile to make my animals feel safe while i was away! will rebook when needed!!! Also the pictures she sent put me at ease 11/10”

“Pagie took wonderful care of our pets while we were out of town. We have one dog who is very shy and timed with strangers, Paige did a wonderful job with her and quickly made progress with her. I knew she felt comfort when I was getting updates about their walks, Lilly never wants to go on a walk with a new sitter until at least 3-4 days in, she's definitely a dog whisperer. She also handled our rambunctious labradoodle with ease and gave lots of love to our kitty who is usually hiding away from the dogs’ craziness. Paige provided daily updates and pics which put this dog mom at ease. We came home to a clean home and happy pets, what more could we ask for! We’ll definitely be booking with Paige again.”

“Kris did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Tommy! She met with us a couple times before we left for our vacation trip to get to know Tommy and his routine. She gave us multiple updates each day on their plan and what was happening. Also took good care of the house! We would not hesitate to book her again and highly recommend to others! :)”

“Lisa was super great watching our husky with separation anxiety for the evening! She kept her calm and happy for the evening, including taking her on a very cold walk. We will happily have her watch Izze again in the future!”
“Summer was a great choice when we had to leave for the night. She was a great communicator and very accommodating for our very hectic weekend. Would 100% recommend!”

“Geraldine did an excellent job watching my senior, diabetic dog, Oscar. She provided updates and was very responsive to questions. I was immediately comfortable with her after meeting her and seeing her interactive with my dog. She also took great care of my home - leaving it feeling cleaner than when I left. I highly recommend Geraldine!”

“Penny was very easy to work with and my dog was very relaxed around her. She had no problem doing anything I asked was very sensitive to my dog’s needs.”
About: I had pets (dogs and cats) for 25 years. When my last dog passed in 2020, I wasn't ready to commit to adopting a new pet, but I have loved taking care of my friends dogs. They have encouraged my to sign up for Rover and take my services to others. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule. On the days I have to go in to the office, I put in a half day in the office and come home at lunch for the remainder of the day. I don't have a fenced yard at the moment, but I do have a tie out that I use so the dog can do its business outside. I do not leave them out for more than a few minutes. Instead, dogs will get walked several times a day for varying lengths. A short walk (10 minutes) before work, a longer walk (30 minutes) at lunch, and another longer walk after work.
About: I have always been a lover of all animals! I have had so many pets growing up and have blessed to have them all in my life! I have been pet sitting for 8 years now and continue to fall in love with each new furry friend❤️ I have a job at a golf course this summer as I just graduated college and my 9-5 job starts in September. I have Monday-Wedensday completely free during the days. The rest of the week I’m open nights! I will always make sure to follow the instructions you leave me about ur pet because everyone’s is so different! I will make sure there is always a leash and have them as my number 1 priority!

“Alicja is truly a gift. She has such a way with our dog. Peace of mind has no price and that is what she gives us. Could not recommend more would give 10 stars if that was an option.”

“Stephanie took great care of our pets while we were away! She sent updates, kept in touch throughout the stay, and left our house in great shape. I would happily book her again!”

“David did a great job staying at our house and taking care of our pets and animals for eight days. We have a very energetic dog, two cats, a bird and chickens, and David handled it all with ease. I'd definitely book him again. There was a snowstorm while we were gone, and it was so nice to know that David was at our house taking care of everything. He made vacationing away so much more relaxing. You can tell he loves animals, and I know that our dog had many walks and play times. With the snow and cold, the chickens caused some unexpected problems (frozen door, problems with their water) and David problem-solved it all.”

“Liv was amazing in every possible way. She took wonderful care of our dog and left the house super clean. She even baked us muffins! I cannnot recommend them highly enough!”

About: I have been caring for pets since I was a teenager. From my animals on my parents farm to dog and cat sitting for friends and family, I have a wide range of experience with animals of all ages and energy levels. Having owned two German Short Hair Pointers, I am great with big high energy dogs. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule. When I am not doing school work, I am usually with friends or doing something outdoors. I am very gentle and loving when it comes to animals. Being raised on a farm I learned how to interact with all kinds of animals. From angry steers to sweet ducklings to very hyper puppies, I know how to manage all kinds of critters. I am very affectionate and playful with even tempered animals, but I can also coexist peacefully with more reactive animals.
“Rachel did a great job housesitting for our two kitties who are a bit demanding. She took care of our mail, trash, packages, and other people coming and going from our home while we were gone. Highly recommend hiring her if you want peace of mind while on your vacation. Will use her again for upcoming trips.”

Woodbury pet parents share their Rover experiences
Heather was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Bowie, who doesn’t always warm up to new people. She was patient, understanding, and clearly took great care of him. Our house was left clean and well cared for, which we really appreciated. Heather was very communicative both before and during her stay, keeping us updated and putting us at ease. She went above and beyond, and we felt Bowie was in great hands. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her.

Geraldine did an excellent job watching my senior, diabetic dog, Oscar. She provided updates and was very responsive to questions. I was immediately comfortable with her after meeting her and seeing her interactive with my dog. She also took great care of my home - leaving it feeling cleaner than when I left. I highly recommend Geraldine!

Vikki was a wonderful home and pet sitter, and great communicator. She took excellent care of our dogs, cat, and chickens for a long weekend. She left our home better than she found it, and was accommodating with scheduling to make sure we made it home with no delays. We hope to welcome her back, and highly recommend her!!

Rachel was wonderful! I could tell by the way my dog Ole reacted when she came back a couple of days later to retrieve something she'd forgotten. He went right up to her for cuddling. : ). Rachel sent updates and pictures of Ole and Panda and contacted me with questions. I will definitely book Rachel again!

Emily was kind and delightful. My dogs were apparently not very well behaved and I don’t know why but feel badly about it. Still she was understanding and patient with them. I am working on some manners training including them sleeping in the kitchen. We would love her back if she is willing!
