The best thing for your pet(s) is to keep them in the comfort of their own home while you are away. Less stress & exposure to other animals, illness, etc. I provide a service not all pet sitters do, I come stay overnight in your home to take care of your pet(s) & work from your home. It's also nice to have someone staying in your home for safety, keep an eye on things & I also do other things, besides walking them, play ball, give them meds, or other care, as needed, water plants, take in mail & even pickup poo in yard, upon request:) With my extensive experience & the extras I provide I charge a little more than some other sitters, but like they say, "you get what you pay for":) I work from home, doing real estate so my schedule is pretty flexible. "Have laptop, will travel":) As I can work from your home, I am usually able to spend the days & evenings watching & caring for your pets as needed, besides going on appts or meetings. NOTE: MAY NEED TO LEAVE FOR 4-6 HRS at a time, depending on my schedule. I live in Woodbury & prefer taking jobs close to home so I can check in on my cat. I'm a non-smoker & prefer sitting in non-smoker homes. I have been pet sitting for many years & love it! I have worked for pet sitting companies & also done on my own, for family & friends. I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. young & old, with special needs, small & large, from Yorkies to Bullmastiffs! So I am use to many types of dogs & comfortable with them (as long as they are not aggressive/not fixed:). I have given medications, so can do that as well if needed (as long as they will let me:). I have fostered animals in my home for a few years for different organizations, including Can Do Canines (a "Sitter" for them) & the humane society, so I have experience dealing with animals that have health or (non-aggressive) behavioral issues. I do not take client pets into my home, as it is not allowed as I live in a townhome community. I care for pets in your home based on your normal schedule & habits of your pets, ie. when they eat & need to go outside, whether fenced yard or need walks.
Ratings and reviews
Kari helped us out on super short notice after we had a death in the family and we could not be more grateful knowing she had some of her own stuff going on! She took great care of the dogs, left the house clean and had great communication/pictures throughout her stay.
We have used Kari many times for our older dog with some health issues. This time was over 2 weeks. Kari sent pictures daily and let us know everything was good at home. She takes excellent care of Bo and our home. Thank you Kari, you are the best!❤️🐶
Kari took excellent care of our dog and our house. Our dog had some health issues and Kari was very helpful in being sure our dog's needs were met. Kari is excellent at communicating and always sends updates and photos.

Schedule
As I mentioned, I work from home & am self employed, so I have flexibility in my schedule, for the most part. I can provide service as long as your pets can go 4 to 6 hours alone so I have time to go to meetings and showings during the day. I do have some commitments & also am on a Board, which takes one night a week, for a few hours.
