As I mentioned, I work from home & am self employed, so I have flexibility in my schedule, for the most part. I can provide service as long as your pets can go 4 to 6 hours alone so I have time to go to meetings and showings during the day. I do have some commitments & also am on a Board, which takes one night a week, for a few hours.

I do not take client pets into my home, as it is not allowed as I live in a townhome community. I care for pets in your home based on your normal schedule & habits of your pets, ie. when they eat & need to go outside, whether fenced yard or need walks.

I'd like to know if your pet(s) have any behavioral issues, or quirks that I should be aware of. Don't really have any breed preferences, I see all dogs as special & lovable in their own way! As long as they are fixed and not aggressive.
A typical day
I treat the pets that I care for as thou they are my own; they can sleep with me, or where ever they are most comfortable. As I said in my intro I mostly work from home, so I can be at the house where I am pet sitting during the day & evening, as needed, to let dogs out & walks with their regular schedule. I have a pretty flexible schedule & can usually plan my day & appointments according to the needs of the pet(s). I can take your pups on walks, play ball in the backyard, whatever their normal activities.

Pet care experience
The best thing for your pet(s) is to keep them in the comfort of their own home while you are away. Less stress & exposure to other animals, illness, etc. I provide a service not all pet sitters do, I come stay overnight in your home to take care of your pet(s) & work from your home. It's also nice to have someone staying in your home for safety, keep an eye on things & I also do other things, besides walking them, play & give them meds, or other care, as needed, water plants, take in mail, etc. upon request & even pu poo in yard:) With my extensive experience & the extras I provide I charge a little more than some other sitters, but like they say, "you get what you pay for":) I work from home, doing real estate so my schedule is pretty flexible. "Have laptop, will travel":) As I can work from your home, I am usually able to spend the days & evenings watching & caring for your pets as needed, besides going on appts or meetings. NOTE: MAY NEED TO LEAVE FOR 4-6 HRS at a time, depending on my schedule. I live in Woodbury & prefer taking jobs close to home so I can check in on my cat. (She now needs meds every 2 hrs.) I'm a non-smoker & prefer sitting in non-smoker homes. I have been pet sitting for many years & love it! I have worked for pet sitting companies & also done on my own, for family & friends. I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. young & old, with special needs, small & large, from Chihuahuas to Bullmastiffs! So I am use to many types of dogs & comfortable with them (as long as they are not agressive/not fixed:). I have given medications, so can do that as well if needed (as long as they will let me:). I have fostered animals in my home for a few years for different organizations, including Can Do Canines (a "Sitter" for them) & the humane society, so I have experience dealing with animals that have health or (non-agressive) behavioral issues. Kari stayed with our 2 dogs for 4 nights and took great care of them! She arrived at the time we requested an stayed until later in the evening as we had asked since our flight was arriving late.
