Care and Love While You're Away!
Leaving your four legged loved ones at home when you go on vacation is never easy. I strive to make sure they feel cared for and loved while you are away so you don't need to worry! I have over 18 years experience caring for animals of my own, rescue fosters, and shelter animals, and caring for other's pets while they are away. I am a lifelong animal lover with experience with cats, dogs, and small animals like ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, chickens, and more. I have cats and dogs of my own currently. Whether you are looking for a dog walker, a drop-in pet sitter (dogs, cats, other), or a comfortable place to board your four-legged (or more or less) family members, I can be of service to you. I live in a single family home with a fully fenced in backyard, and a separate dedicated nicely sized bedroom dedicate to boarding small animals. Whether I'm housing your pets or visiting your home, my goal is always to make them as comfortable and as happy as possible!

Monika does a wonderful job looking after our senior kitty who needs extra care due to diabetes. She really makes a connection and we can tell that our cat absolutely adores her. We know he's in good hands with her each time we need to be away!
My cats were well looked after and pampered while we were away. I loved all of the pictures of each of my kiddos!

Monika was GREAT with our 2 dogs! She watched them while we were off getting married and then off to our honeymoon. Over the 16 day long stay they had with her, Monika would send daily pictures and updates which we LOVED!!! She cared for my Bubbles even with a cruciate ligament tear in one of her knees. Monika had previous experience with her own dog and was able to care for Bubbles and her injury until she could get in for surgery. Overall, you can tell Monika LOVE animals and LOVES what she does. Leaving our dogs in Monika’s care is the best decision we could’ve made! :)

Monika took wonderful care of my Quinn. The fenced backyard is perfect for outdoor play! Quinn had a ton of fun with Mizzy, the resident dog. Monika was great with pictures and updates. Highly recommend!!

Schedule
I am a full time Rover, so I am home a lot, but I do leave for dog walks and drop-ins, though I am usually not gone for more than 2 hours at a time. I am available for boarding, walking, and drop-ins, on a relatively flexible schedule. I am also offering sitter pick-ups and drop-offs as a boarding add-on.

A typical day
Wake up with wagging tails and run out in the yard, come in for some breakfast. Go back out for some more yard time or settle down on a comfy bed and enjoy some pets. We can play ball in the yard, cuddle on the couch, or window watch!
