I understand that being in a new space can feel overwhelming, so I always give new dogs plenty of time to sniff, explore, and get comfortable at their own pace without feeling rushed. I have a friendly, confident dog of my own, and I take introductions seriously. When a new dog arrives, I keep my dog in a separate area so the new pup can explore and settle in independently before they meet. I believe in slow, supervised introductions and always pay attention to each dog’s body language and comfort level. I also take precautions to keep my home pet-friendly, prevent access to potential hazards, and ensure dogs have their own space to relax.
