“Monica was amazing as always! She kept my pup for 7 nights and sent me updates and pictures daily. It’s so nice to be able to leave town and know that your pup is well cared for. Thanks Monica!!”

“Maggie is always excited when we drive up to Steffanie’s. She is a great sitter and we feel so comfortable leaving Maggie there. It’s like Maggie’s vacation too.”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Grizzly. He came home happy and tired. We loved receiving all of the updates and photos. We will definitely be reaching out the next time we need a dog sitter!”

“Nicole did a great job caring for my sweet Penelope! She sent pictures and updates which I appreciate! Her cats were welcoming and being that my cat has never really been around others cats made me nervous but Penelope did pretty good overall! Thanks Nicole for keeping her safe and making sure she felt comfortable during her week stay! Much appreciated ♥️🐈”

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats. Experience with both. We lost our dog in March so our house is feeling empty right now and would love to have your fur baby over to keep us company. I am also available for walks or drop ins in the evenings and weekends. I currently work full time, usually 8-4. I can come home on my lunch break for potty breaks. I only work 7 mins from home. I do have a 7 year old daughter that is in the home as well. We have a fenced in yard that is great for dogs to run. We also have a lot of windows and bird feeders for cats to sit and watch the birdies.
“Dale and Betsy took great care of my little peanut I took comfort in knowing she was always with someone and sitting in someone's lap like she always likes to do they were really great!”

“Our pup loves staying with Katie and we love knowing she’ll be well cared for. Reese stays a couple times per year and seems excited when she gets to Katie’s place. She is super nice and was flexible with us during a tricky travel situation which was such a relief!”

“Stan was a wonderful caregiver to our dog, Harley. He made us feel comfortable by asking a lot of questions about the care and feeding of him. He sent a photo and an update each day. His home was well set up for dogs and it was a very chill place for Harley to relax. We would absolutely have Stan watch our dog again!”

“Tristan and Bill were AWESOME!! They are a great couple and you can just tell they enjoy taking care of your dogs. Dash and Ella came home and we could tell they had be taken care of just the way we take care of them. We we definitely use Tristan and Bill again and so should you. Thanks from Dash & Ella”
“Nikki was wonderful. This was my first time using Rover; I was a little nervous to leave my puppy with someone while going on vacation. Nikki made me feel very comfortable sending lots of updates and photos. She seems to know dogs very well. My puppy had a great time with her and the other dogs she was watching. Nikki was also very understanding and flexible when my flight got delayed and I needed to pick up later than planned. I will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“We were so happy with the care Claire took of our beagle, Lucy, while we were out of town for a week. She kept us well updated and it was clear that Lucy was being cared for and loved. Would definitely be comfortable leaving Lucy with her again in the future!”

“Russel & Linda were great! They accepted a last minute booking for Ellie so we could attend an out of town wedding. I got photos showing Ellie having a great time. Ellie enjoyed playtime with another dog that was staying the weekend. She was able to go out into the fenced backyard and play which she is always happy to do.She was very happy and well cared for when I came and picked her up which I really appreciate! We will definitely be bringing her back next time we need to go out of town.”

“Lucy loved being at Margaret’s and playing with Daisy! Margaret is very knowledgeable about elderly dog care, she put my worries to rest. I will definitely rebook with Margaret!”

“I couldn’t be happier about finding Shevon & Ian - they are a perfect fit for Loki. Very caring, very attentive and understanding of a young but very large dog’s needs (and quirks!) They have a wonderful house with a huge fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood, and their daughter and dog Warren are equally awesome. Shevon even went out of her way between visits to help us find a new vet when Loki was struggling with a severe case of pneumonia. Can’t recommend them enough!”

“Connie was great with my little boy Winston, he just had a dental before he got to Connie's and he came home perfect. I will definitely use Connie P. again! Thanks again Connie...Winston and Suzanne”

“Camille and Jordan are awesome! Riley had so much fun with them and was sad to leave her new friend Bella! Felt super comfortable leaving my boy with them. Will definitely book again!”

“Lan took great care of our dog Jorah, while we were away for the weekend, would 100% recommend Lan to anyone in need of a pet sitter and will utilize her in the future! She sent us pictures of Jorah every day and let us know how he was doing! She was always quick to respond as well.”

“Emily did a great job caring for my dog. She kept me apprised of how my dog was doing daily with photos and narrative. I recommend Emily and will hire her again. Thanks, Emily!”

“If you want your pet to be cared for and loved like their with you....Kelly and her girls are the BEST!!! My Wynnie girl was treated so well. I received texts and daily photos. I could not be more happy with the care that they provided. I will use Kelly for Wynnie when needed because I will not have to worry knowing my baby is getting the best care possible. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Saint Paul
Ashley was perfect for our Freya. Freya was a little timid going to a new place, but as soon as we met and spoke with Ashley, I knew she would be in good hands. Ashley has a calming, caring demeanor. She welcomed Freya, who warmed right up to her. Her own dog was sweet and lovely and welcomed Freya as well. Ashley's home is in a very quiet neighborhood with nice walking areas. She sent photos of Freya on walks, resting on the sofa, and even performing a trick for a treat. I was very happy with her and will call her again next time we need a Rover.com. Lori M.

Julie and Jessie and their family were outstanding hosts for my dog Gigi. Communication was great, she sent photos and updates daily, and checked with me with things she wasn’t certain on to prioritize Gigis safety. It was clear to me that they had care for my dogs comfort and happiness while in their care. It was also awesome to have my dog experience a variety of people and company!

My dog was well cared for - even pampered by being allowed to sleep on the humans' bed. She came home happy and a little tired after a weekend with Danielle's 2 much younger, more active, but very gentle dogs. Danielle has a very large, secure yard for the dogs to play in and explore. Between the outdoor space and the young dogs to play with, Flicka got lots of good exercise.

Monika was GREAT with our 2 dogs! She watched them while we were off getting married and then off to our honeymoon. Over the 16 day long stay they had with her, Monika would send daily pictures and updates which we LOVED!!! She cared for my Bubbles even with a cruciate ligament tear in one of her knees. Monika had previous experience with her own dog and was able to care for Bubbles and her injury until she could get in for surgery. Overall, you can tell Monika LOVE animals and LOVES what she does. Leaving our dogs in Monika’s care is the best decision we could’ve made! :)

We had an amazing experience boarding Mochi at Roselyn’s home! From the very beginning, Roselyn was kind, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving Mochi in her care. Her dog and cat are incredibly friendly, and it was so heartwarming to see how much they loved Mochi. Mochi felt right at home and clearly enjoyed the companionship and welcoming environment. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Mochi was happy, safe, and well cared for. Rozalyn kept us updated, shared pictures and videos, and it was obvious she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We truly appreciated the love and attention Mochi received during the stay. Highly recommend Roselyn to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy dog-boarding experience. We would absolutely book with her again!
We booked our first dog sitter via Rover with Connie. Excellent communication in advance of and during the stay. She took great care of our 1 year old. We appreciated that she was so flexible with drop off and pick up times and that she sent photos of our pup while we were away. As a dog trainer in training, she practiced with our dog who needs the help. As a groomer, Connie made sure that our puppy went home clean!

Jen and her family were amazing dog sitters! They took such good care of my dogs and sent me daily photo updates, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. I could tell my dogs were happy and well cared for. I truly appreciate all the love and attention they gave them. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
