I had a few dogs growing up (a cairn terrior and a yellow lab) and have been dog sitting for the last 6 years off and on from anywhere from a few hours up to 3 months.

This was my first time using rover so I was a bit nervous to leave my dog. But I’m so happy to have found Steffanie and her awesome family! Steffanie was amazing with our dog during our vacation! She made sure sofia got plenty of walks, kept us updated with great communication throughout the stay, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It was clear our pup was well cared for and happy. We’re super happy with the experience and would absolutely book with her again!

Schedule
I work from home Mondays and Thursdays and have a typical 8-430 schedule. My significant other, Jake, has a flexible schedule as well for drop off/pick up times. While working from home I am available to take doggos on walks/runs and play! For days that I am in the office, I am able to run home on lunch for potty breaks if the doggo needs!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a house with a large yard. While it is not fenced in, there is plenty of room to run and play on our 30 ft cable. I have a 12 year old son who loves to play with and love on doggies. I live near a lake and a park with a swimming beach if your doggo likes swimming! (I am more than happy to gives baths as well) I will also take lots of photos and have open communication so that owners can know their furbabies are having fun and in good hands!
A typical day
I am a runner (when the weather cooperates) so I enjoy taking dogs for runs with me either in the morning or after dinner. When the weather is cooler we go for walks up to the lake.

- I like to know if dogs are allowed on furniture and/or the bed. Also if they are good with kids and other dogs. Since I do want to run with the pups, it's good to know if they are good runners or pullers. It's also helpful to know if they are allowed any human food (or a DQ pup cup since we are blocks from one ?)
