I work full time from home so pet care fits so easily into my schedule. I have a fenced in yard so they can run and play and get all the fresh air they want and need! I also own several crates so owners wouldn't need to bring their own if their dog is used to being crated when they sleep or when we need to leave the house for a bit.

I do have a 7 year old German Shorthair Pointer who loves other dogs. We have had 21 fosters (and counting) come through our home in the last 2 years and he has gotten along with all of them. I am very aware of the signs of food aggression or dogs being a bit protective of toys and in those situations we put all chews/toys away to avoid any reason for scuffles. We live in a rambler home but the dogs are only allowed on the main level which is were we also spend all of our time, I like to keep them close so I can always keep on eye on them.

I love the high energy working/hunting breeds and fully understand that they must be physically and mentally challenged or they get indoor zoomies. I am totally up the challenge of these breeds! However I also understand the opposite as well and know some dogs are shy or very chill and just wanna be couch potatoes and I support that too!
A typical day
Your dog will get plenty of attention and lots of outside time if they want it. I do love going for walks on my lunch break or in the evening.

Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs and have had dogs of my own since I bought my first house. I love all animals and even attended veterinary assistance school. I have been fostering dogs in my home for over two years now and I absolutely love helping them find their forever home. I do love to travel and our dog goes to a boarder when we are gone but we know how much he misses us when we are away and that is what made me decide to open our home to other dogs who would do better in a home setting while their family is away.

Mandy was THE BEST with our dogs! She went over and beyond to provide the most incredible care for them. Our dogs didn’t want to leave they had such a good time and fit right in. Mandy was an excellent communicator and even sent us precious photos of our dogs making memories! She was very clean and just an overall trustworthy and kind person. I would recommend her any day!

Amanda accepted my dog on a short notice and took very good care of him. Sent me photos and updates which was great. My dog gets very nervous when I'm away but he quickly got comfortable with her, she has excellent patience. 100% recommend.

Teddy was happy to spend the day with Amanda, she gave him lots of love and attention. I was so relieved that Teddy was well taken care of. It's a plus that she has a fenced in back yard.

Titan loved his stay, we loved all the pictures! Thank you so much!!
