I’m detail oriented and will communicate with you via pics or text minimum of 2 times per day ( more if you’d like). All the dogs I’ve had in my life have shown me how much love can be given by a person who shows them care. Getting that connection to flourish is my goal. My thoughtful approach to supporting your pets routine and keeping notes for you of all their fun they have while they are with me is the transparency I would want if I were in your shoes.

A typical day
My dogs love to play hide and seek. I’d love to teach your dog the same game as it is great fun when it is too cold for a walk. Otherwise, I love to do walks in new neighborhoods that I’m familiar with so they can enjoy new sights and smells.

Katie is a great communicator and is incredible with dogs. Our dog is both people and dog reactive, and very slow to warm up to people he doesn’t know. She is incredibly understanding of the needs of a reactive dog, and has taken the time to meet him several times and slowly build trust. As a reactive dog owner, it is such a huge relief to have someone so understanding and experienced in our corner. I would highly recommend her!
She was great with my dog! Very professional and keeps your pet happy and safe on walks or drop-ins. She is very flexible with scheduling and she took very good photos of my dog on walks! Will hire again!
I was a bit nervous setting up Ebenezer (Ebb) with a dog walking service. He can be reactive sometimes, and has some other persnickety behaviors we are working on. But I really wanted him to build confidence in the world without me. Katherine was WONDERFUL! She met with us before his initial walk to make sure Ebb was comfortable with her and she started building trust and learning his behavior while talked. Ebb just got back from his first walk... He is a happy and tired pup! 10/10 would highly recommend!
