About: My favorite animal as a child was cats and I was blessed to be able to have and care for my own cat (Tiger Stripe) at the age of 7. I have many friends, neighbors, and family who have trusted me with the care of their cat(s). I have taken care of multiple cats who require medication and have special dietary needs. Our care for them has been fairly easy because they are very healthy cats, so I’ve never experienced caring for cats with extreme needs. About: I have experience working with various dog (and cat) breeds since my childhood through adulthood. I have experience pet sitting, fostering and raising/training dogs. I am experienced giving medications and taking care of fur babies with special needs or requests. I love taking bigger, more energetic dogs for runs, playing fetch, and getting their energy out through active play times. About: I grew up with dogs and they are truly my heart and soul. We currently have 2 dogs 2 cats, (although one dog is a part time since they follow shared custody with the teens). We would absolutely love to take in your dog. We both work from home so they would get plenty of loving and attention! I work from home full time, along with my partner who also works from home; so honestly I'm very open. Our own dogs generally are taken out about every 3 hours regardless if they go potty or not. The animals have free range of the house (minus our bed) 😊 I do have a yard, although its not fenced, we have a track or a ground post if your worried about them running away while being outside. We also love to take walks. If they stay close and listen well, I generally stay outside with them. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: Growing up, I became the neighborhood pet sitter for all the dogs and cats on my block-- I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it up once I started teaching! During the school year, I can watch your pets if they are used to being left alone during the workday. During the summer, I am free to give your pets as much love and attention as they'll put up with! As a sitter, my biggest priorities are safety, routine, and communication. When I am house sitting, I try to follow your routine as closely as possible to try and make your pets feel a little more at ease, and I send lots of pictures to try and make YOU feel a little more at ease! I also love to spoil the pets I'm watching, so be ready for me to ask if your dog or cat is okay to have a pup cup anytime I'm picking up coffee :) As I said earlier, I am available in the summer to spend as much time as you would like with your pets. When I am house sitting, I treat it like I'm moving in for that time and will treat it as my home base so that I'm keeping your pets company, even if they're just interested in lying on the couch. I available during the school year (Late August- early June) if your pets are okay with being left alone for 8 hours. I know that sometimes pet parents worry about being too "high maintenance" with their pets' needs or quirks, but I promise that that is not a thing in my book! Whatever your pets' little habits and routines are, I will accommodate them as much as possible.

“Ashley was incredible. Our puppy is a little high maintenance around other dogs and also has a very hard time being left alone. Ashley accommodated those needs readily and cheerfully. We were a little nervous leaving our puppy for such a long time but Ashley's confidence and frequent updates put our minds at ease instantly. She clearly knows a lot about dog personalties and training techniques and even sent a picture of her partner snuggling on the ground with our pup! Ashley was very responsive and and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our dog was in good hands. We would definitely use her again!”
