About: We have always had cats in our family, so I have been caring for them and getting to know all their lovable quirks since I was little. I have also cared for countless neighbors’ and friends’ kitties, many with special dietary & medical needs. I also have over 5 years experience volunteering in an animal shelter and working specifically with the kitties there. I have a beautiful baby calico at home named Claire, who lives with my partner’s majestic orange goon, Peanut. :)
“Alli was absolutely amazing! She was very responsive and did a fantastic job taking care of our cats while we were away. I would wholeheartedly recommend her and would be honored to have her as our rover again! :)”

I was apprehensive about hiring someone to watch our cat but Andrea put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We received daily updates of texts and pictures which we looked forward to seeing at the end of the day. I look forward to having Andrea take care of our cat in the future and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Penny was my favorite sitter so far. She was great at communicating before, during, and after the trip. She left my house almost better than it was before I left. But most importantly, she bonded with my cats. I felt completely at ease while away because I could tell by her messages and photos that she genuinely liked my cats. Bonus... She also has a sense of humor. I will definitely be booking with Penny again.”

About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 17, and I am passionate about them. I’ve cared for cats of all personalities, from shy and skittish to cuddly lap cats, and even those with special diets or medication needs. I know how to read feline body language, keep litter boxes clean, follow routines, and most importantly, create a calm, stress-free environment while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just quiet companionship, I adjust to each cat’s comfort level so they feel safe and cared for in their own space.

About: I great up in a household of mainly dogs. I adopted my first cat 8 years ago and instantly became a cat person. I am known by family and friends as the person who befriends cats anywhere I go. My cat obsession has gone so far as to invade my home decore and clothing
“Katie was great, she came through on a somewhat last minute request when my prior sitter was no longer available, and made it work! I came home to a pretty mellow kitty and had the ease of knowing she was getting some love while I was away. No complaints!!”

About: Hello! I am new to the area and live with my boyfriend and our two cats, Maggie and Phineas (“Finny”). I have always loved cats, even though I grew up in a dog only household. I have experience caring for cats with a variety of needs, including diabetes care, ear concerns, medication administration, and chin acne, as well as cats who simply need extra love and snuggles. Our own cats, Maggie and Finny, are rescues and have been through quite a bit, which has helped me gain experience and patience when caring for pets with different personalities and medical needs. I know how difficult it can be to leave our fur babies behind, and I would love to help provide peace of mind by making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

“Stephanie did a great job with my little Zena. She sent me a picture and updates on my baby to assure me how much fun Zena was having. I'd book with Stephanie again!”

About: Hi, I’m Caitlyn, you can also call me Wren! I have experience caring for several family dogs, one of which was a senior and had lots of mobility issues and pain, so I got comfortable helping her get around safely and giving her medicine. I have also watched many dogs of various sizes & needs for neighbors and friends. I love taking dogs on walks (if they are able), and am happy to match whatever their energy level is! I have a flexible schedule, working just part time and attending one college course, so I have plenty of availability to spend time with your fur babies! I am happy to provide extra services like grabbing mail & watering plants if you would like, just let me know!
“Sy has been a lifesaver helping me with Lilly during the week!! She was super quick to respond to my initial request, which I was so grateful for because I needed services suddenly. And to top it all off, Lilly loves her so I feel like she’s in great hands whenever I’m gone! She goes above and beyond, even helping me with her medication when I asked. And she seems to really care about Lilly’s wellbeing, like she’s her own. Definitely recommend!!”

About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. Whether it’s putting pets into crates, or active play, or if meals need to be more hands on, I feel comfortable caring for them in pretty much any situation. I don’t have much experience caring for dogs with special needs, so some animals who need that type of assistance might be out of the realm of care I can provide.
“When new military orders came, we found ourselves in desperate need of someone we could trust to take care of our two very kind, but sometimes very anxious doggos. Despite having only a short introductions, Katherine was an answer to our prayers. She was incredibly professional in communication, took photos of our pups on long walks, and even helped us when we needed last-minute additional walks. I can not recommend her enough!”

About: Growing up, I became the neighborhood pet sitter for all the dogs and cats on my block-- I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it up once I started teaching! During the school year, I can watch your pets if they are used to being left alone during the workday. During the summer, I am free to give your pets as much love and attention as they'll put up with! As a sitter, my biggest priorities are safety, routine, and communication. When I am house sitting, I try to follow your routine as closely as possible to try and make your pets feel a little more at ease, and I send lots of pictures to try and make YOU feel a little more at ease! I also love to spoil the pets I'm watching, so be ready for me to ask if your dog or cat is okay to have a pup cup anytime I'm picking up coffee :) As I said earlier, I am available in the summer to spend as much time as you would like with your pets. When I am house sitting, I treat it like I'm moving in for that time and will treat it as my home base so that I'm keeping your pets company, even if they're just interested in lying on the couch. I available during the school year (Late August- early June) if your pets are okay with being left alone for 8 hours. I know that sometimes pet parents worry about being too "high maintenance" with their pets' needs or quirks, but I promise that that is not a thing in my book! Whatever your pets' little habits and routines are, I will accommodate them as much as possible.
About: I’ve been around animals majority of my life. Mostly cats and dogs, how ever I have small animal experience aswell. I have always loved animals and become quick friends with them! I currently have a cat named Jerry and live with my mom and her two dogs. Throughout my life me and my family have had 9 cats and 5 dogs! I am an RN, I work clinic side pediatrics! I work m-f 8-5! Not gone super long and would able to give all my attention when back from work! I will respect your property and your schedule for how you have your pets in the home. I can and will let your pet out as often as they need and want. I can bring them for walks and play times. I know letting someone else in the home and taking care of your fur babies can be hard, but I can ensure trust and safety in your home and with your pets!
