About: We have always had cats in our family, so I have been caring for them and getting to know all their lovable quirks since I was little. I have also cared for countless neighbors’ and friends’ kitties, many with special dietary & medical needs. About: I’ve had 15 years of dogs in my houses and many pets in the family who have needed sitting. I’m also normally responsible for the puppy age :) My dog is a 6 year old black lab. We live along the river in a townhouse, so I’m always out taking him for long walks or to the neighborhood dog park. I’m currently unemployed so have lots of free time and in the habit of pet care! About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. About: Growing up, I became the neighborhood pet sitter for all the dogs and cats on my block-- I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it up once I started teaching! During the school year, I can watch your pets if they are used to being left alone during the workday. During the summer, I am free to give your pets as much love and attention as they'll put up with! As a sitter, my biggest priorities are safety, routine, and communication. When I am house sitting, I try to follow your routine as closely as possible to try and make your pets feel a little more at ease, and I send lots of pictures to try and make YOU feel a little more at ease! I know that sometimes pet parents worry about being too "high maintenance" with their pets' needs or quirks, but I promise that that is not a thing in my book! Whatever your pets' little habits and routines are, I will accommodate them as much as possible.
