Information Lisa G. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any medications or pottying issues so I can plan a daily schedule, is working on any particular commands you want me to practice, is toy/food aggressive (can’t take), or is a digger. Please send along proof of vaccinations and pet license after booking - this is good to have on hand in case of emergency and is required for dog park visits. Does your pet have separation anxiety? Though I spend most of my time at home, there is the need for an occasional errand or outing. I understand separation anxiety, and I want to be respectful of my neighbors. I do not host dogs that tend to bark when alone. I am a new homeowner, and the insurance I purchased prior to starting to board dogs unfortunately excludes the following breeds. I cannot host the following kinds of pups: Akita Husky Alaskan Malamute Pit Bull American Staffordshire Terrier Presa Canario (Canary dog) Chow Rottweiler Dalmatian Staffordshire Bull Terriers Doberman Pinscher Wolf-dogs and Wolf hybrids
A typical day
Depending on your and your dog’s preferences, I play fetch in the backyard, supervise doggy playtime, take the dogs out for a couple walks each day. My go-to park is Minnehaha Off-leash.

Long walks & lounging in the yard
Pet care experience
I love caring for pets, whether in your home or mine. I enjoy snuggling on the couch, as well as taking pups for walks, hikes, and dog park outings around town. Sliding scale available. Happy to work out something that works for you at our first meet & greet! I get up with the dogs around 7 AM (often earlier in the summer, as my pup responds to the sun!), let them out and give them breakfast, and then do playtime, a walk or outing to the dog park (please be sure to send me proof of their up-to-date vaccinations and that they are licensed in your city!). I do supper around 5 PM with another walk or dog park outing after that. Final bathroom break is before bedtime around 10. Your home: I have weekly as well as occasional clients for dog walking and drop-ins, so just let me know your preferences with access via keys/door codes/lockboxes, shoes on or off, and if I can help with mail or packages when I stop by. I have even been known to pitch in with shoveling when needed.:) My home: My yard has plenty of space for the dogs to run laps and play fetch, plus shady spots for lounging and chipmunks and bunnies to chase under the deck. My friendly pup loves to wrestle and play keep away with other medium-energy dogs, but most of the day she likes to lounge:) Fencing: The yard has chain link fence on two sides, a wooden fence on another side, and 5' high Tenax pet fence on the fourth side -- so please do let me know if you have an escape artist dog! The Tenax is enough to keep my dog in the yard, but she isn't a digger or a high jumper.
