About: No matter the size, breed or personality of your pet, earning their trust and friendship (along with your own trust) is my top priority. I grew up in a multi-pet household taking care of dogs, birds and small animals. Since then, I have taken care of horses, anoles, cats, parakeets and my curiosity for getting to know an animal's individual personality has only grown over that time. I currently have two dogs: an Australian shepherd and border collie mix, both of whom I raised from puppies by myself. We are an active family, walking/hiking and in general spending time exploring the neighborhood for hours a day, traveling together for camping or cabin vacations in our free time. It's cliche, but my dogs are truly my family and as a long-time Rover user on the customer side, I understand what it means to have a sitter/walker you can trust while you're away. I love finding people who strive to understand them as individuals and who are sensitive to their needs. My border collie is highly sensitive and I have learned to work within his limits, giving him the stimulation he needs by finding more isolated parks to sniff around, mental challenges inside, etc. that keep him entertained while reducing stress. Pet care is already at the center of my life, as I have two energetic herding dogs. About: I grew up with dogs and they are truly my heart and soul. We currently have 2 dogs 2 cats, (although one dog is a part time since they follow shared custody with the teens). We would absolutely love to take in your dog. We both work from home so they would get plenty of loving and attention! I work from home full time, along with my partner who also works from home; so honestly I'm very open. Our own dogs generally are taken out about every 3 hours regardless if they go potty or not. The animals have free range of the house (minus our bed) 😊 I do have a yard, although its not fenced, we have a track or a ground post if your worried about them running away while being outside. We also love to take walks. If they stay close and listen well, I generally stay outside with them. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. “Our pug LOVED his 4-day stay with Brenda and her family! Our little guy got along great with her two pit bulls and really bonded with their little boy. The dogs played and ran together in the fenced in yard. Our pug came home happy and ready to nap. Each day, I received a couple of photos with a brief update which I appreciated. This was a short-notice booking, and I am so grateful that Brenda was available. We will definitely arrange dog-sitting with Brenda in the future.”
“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! This was Zuri's first time staying away from home and Catherine went above and beyond to make her feel at home. Catherine sent daily updates and photos, which were much appreciated, and lots of special treats and special love were given. Zuri also enjoyed having another dog to play with, as she is an only child. I would highly recommend Catherine and will definitely use her again.”

“We are so lucky to have Trudy to take care of Sweetie Pie. SP perked her ears up and looking for Trudy and Trudy’s family and their dog when I mentioned their names! They took her for walks, letting her riding in the car, watching iPad, and most of all playing and talking to her, maybe just having discussions 😉. SP had truly wonderful stay with them. “Kyle took such good care of my baby Reba! Kyle had high communication with me regarding an ear infection that my pup was struggling with and even took her to the vet when she needed to be seen. My pup was at Kyle’s for over a week and had the happiest demeanor when I picked her up. It was clear to me that she was treated well and had a good time. I’ll definitely use Kyle again for Reba’s care.”

She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. “Perla took wonderful care of my cat for 3 days. She followed all of my feeding instructions carefully and kept me updated throughout his stay. She regularly sent me photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind. One of the things that stood out the most was seeing videos of my cat sleeping next to her daughter. To me, that showed that he felt comfortable, safe, and secure in their home. It was clear that Perla treated him with kindness and care. Frenchies definitely come with their own unique quirks and big personalities, but Ashley didn't skip a beat. It is such a relief to find a sitter who truly understands and appreciates your dog's individual personality. “Amanda and Leif are absolutely amazing!!!! They responded to us so quickly to doggy-sit our Rott/Shepherd mix (Bear) while we went on a family vacation. They asked all the appropriate questions and it was very clear they wanted to make Bear feel at home while we were away. They were responsive, flexible, communicative, and so friendly!! We got several picture updates while on our trip and it made us feel so comfortable with being away. Bear looked so comfortable and happy in the pictures. He was taken on so many walks and played with… We could tell he was shown so much love! When we picked him up, he was still giving love to Amanda! And she was soooo great in the information she shared with us and it reassured us that they all had a great time together. We are so thankful as this is our first Rover experience with Bear. Because of how awesome Amanda and Leif were, we are totally going to be back! If you’re thinking of booking your pup to be with them, absolutely do!!”
