“Catherine was excellent with our dog Misiu! She was incredibly attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos throughout our vacation. She allowed him to snuggle with her in bed, which he’s used to. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely rebook with Catherine. Misiu was a happy boy the entire time, we weren’t missed 😆”

“They took gentle and personal care of my baby girl pup, Rosie! Such a nice couple with a large yard and excellent communication. Love that they only take one rover family at a time. Will definitely book through them again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 10 years. I am very well trusted by friends, family and neighbors. I enjoy spending time with dogs in any capacity! I work full time and usually go into the office 2-3 times a week. I work 15 minutes away from my house and can be flexible with being home at certain times during the day. I try to stick to a similar schedule during the week. I have a fenced in yard and enjoy a clean living space. I do allow dogs on my furniture, but can accommodate to similar environments and rules in their own home as needed.
“Lan, Lucy and family were wonderful with Mochi! Lan is a kind and experienced dog caregiver. We were gone for about a week. Mochi came home happy, tired, and clean! Thank you so very much.”

“This was my first time using Wish and it was absolutely wonderful that by the time I got to Target drive up she had sent me a photo love the other two small dogs that my dog was playing with it totally put my mind at ease! She sent me other photos as updates and even a video. I absolutely loved her service it's close to my house convenient and I like that my dog got to play with her son also. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Angela was amazing! I have had lots of sitters with rover and with family and Angela is by far my favorite. I didn’t worry about my dog once durning a week long vacation. She kept me updated, sent me pictures and my dog loved her (maybe too much haha not sure if my dog wanted to go back to me 😊) I really appreciate Angela and all she did for Rosie. Definitely a great sitter, I wasn’t sure I wanted to write my review like this because of wanting to keep Angela as my little secret but my dog is old and not sure if I’ll need to use Rover anytime soon so I thought I’d share her 😉”

“John and Gretchen love Kirby as if he was their own pup! This visit he had a skin allergy flare up and they took excellent care of him, delivering his meds with love. Thanks again!”

“It was a pleasure to meet Ashley, and I couldn't have asked for better care for Miley, our pup. Ashley walked her several times a day, encouraged me to bring Miley's bed and comfort items to make the home familiar and comfortable, and sent pictures during the week. We returned home to a dog that was happy to see us, but clearly comfortable and well cared for. Our thanks to Ashley, we will look forward to having her care for Miley in the future.”

“We would highly recommend Howie and Betsy for dog care. They are so thoughtful and loving to our Piper. We were gone for a week and we received pics of our pup having a great time that made us feel so much better about being away.”

“Deanna took excellent care of Indy! She sent me pics and videos of how Indy was speding his day with her and her two dogs (going for a walk or playing in the snow). Deanna was flexible and easy to communicate with. Thank you, Deanna, for taking care of my boy!”

“Holly was so wonderful! She took the best care of our girl while we were on vacation. She sent lots of pictures and updates and made our dog feel right at home! I would definitely recommend and will for sure book with here again!”

“This was our first time using rover. Eileen was wonderful and made the process very easy and comfortable from beginning to end. It is very clear that she loves animals and without a doubt, she treated Chloe even better than we do! It was really nice to not have to worry at all about our dig while we were out of town and she sent pics and updates regularly. We will not hesitate to book with her again. Thank you Eileen!”

“Jen communicated well and was very flexible with our changing itinerary. She obviously has lots of experience with dogs. She shared her detailed observations about our dog’s behavior in a way that made it clear she was very attentive to his needs while he stayed with her.”

“Sara was wonderful with George! She took such great care of him while I was away and sent me pictures and updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. It was clear George was comfortable there and getting lots of love and attention. I came home to a very happy pup! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bloomington
Wendy was great with Lenny. She kept me informed about how he was doing throughout the day and sent me pictures of him. Most important, Lenny was comfortable in her home. He bonded with her husband Justin as well as her dogs. Thank you for a job well done. I would highly recommend Wendy.

Jen communicated well and was very flexible with our changing itinerary. She obviously has lots of experience with dogs. She shared her detailed observations about our dog’s behavior in a way that made it clear she was very attentive to his needs while he stayed with her.

Beanie had a great stay with Tyler and Ava! She loved the big backyard and all the walks. She got along great with Ava, who is a real sweetie pie of a dog - it was like they were sisters - haha! Tyler kept us well informed and was very easy to deal with in every way. We will definitely come back - This was a fabulous stay!
Allison and her family were so welcoming to our girl Fiona. We knew that Fiona would be in good hands while we were on vacation. We received daily updates and pictures which made us feel more at ease. Allison's home is not air conditioned which Fiona probably enjoyed the warmer house, since I keep ours at 68*. Also, Allison now has adorable mini humans and the home is now filled with kid toys and lots of kid/baby equipment making for tighter spaces but Fiona loves kids and a couch so it wasn't an issue for Fiona who would love to lay around and watch the world go by. We would consider Allison again for our future needs. She gave Fiona plenty of exercise with daily walks and outside time.

Julie watched our two small dogs during a long family trip. Because she works from home, she was able to take them outside frequently and spend a lot of time with them throughout the day. She also shared regular photos and updates, which we appreciated. Our dogs enjoyed spending time with Julie and playing with her own small dogs. They settled in well and looked very comfortable in her home. We would hire Julie again and recommend her to others looking for dog care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
