Loving home for your dog to enjoy
I owned my own kennel for 5 years prior to moving to the Twin Cities area. I also do foster care and have pets of my own. I have been doing pet care in some fashion for 15 years. I specialize in senior care; however, will sit for respectful dogs of all ages and breeds. Unfortunately, because I typically have smaller and older dogs in my home, I do need to limit the number of puppies and high strung or high energy dogs I can watch. My number one priority is the safely of all the dogs I have with me at all times. I can also administer medications including insulin, having adopted and fostered insulin dependent animals in the past.

Paisley and Allie had a blast with Wendy and Justin.
Second time leaving my dog with Wendy! She is super responsive and sends photo and video updates. My dog had a great time both stays! Will go with her whenever we need sitting.
Gracie had another fun filled and long stay at Wendy and Justin's. The updates, photos and videos showed her in true 180 form - from chill and cuddly, to speed ball chaser in their luxurious grassy back yard. And extra kudos to Wendy and Justin for accommodating an additional step in her daily dining needs. Thank you!! and We'll be back!!

We are so fortunate that Wendy and Justin were available to host Gracie again. The setting of their home, yard, doggie door and other pups keeps her happy and occupied. And even better - Wendy and Justin are so positive with their attention and time with our little hound, and communications with us. We've already booked a next stay.

Schedule
I work from home and my husband is home the days I am not. I am home in the evenings typically as well. I spend most my available time outside working in the yard, walking or playing with my dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in, secure, large yard for your pups to come play in. I prioritize everyone’s safely and comfort, therefore providing them with an environment that is safe and welcoming for them. I have a large home they are welcome to roam free in, just like if they were in their own homes. I have crates available for dogs who need that extra safe space or prefer to sleep in a crate. My dogs get along with other dogs, so play time is always fun. My goal is always to make your dogs feel like they are at home, where they get love and attention.

A typical day
We spend a lot of time outside playing in the yard on nice days. We also can go for walks, as I am an active person who walks several times a day. I also like to do training with them as one on one time (basic commands) to keep them engaged. We have sniff matts, toys and play time also.
