Hello, My name is Rachel. I have worked with animal rescues for many years. I am experienced in animals of all ages, medical and behavioral needs. I work closely with families to continue their schedule and care for your beloved pet while you are away. I am heavily experienced in all animal cares and have worked with all breeds and sizes. We love having over night guests and are able to provide their own spaces as needed. I am experienced at vetting animals and can assist in providing medical treatments such as medication, sub q fluids, etc. My daughter (18) loves to help and has been working with animals for most of her life. She and I partner up to make sure your pet is very well taken care of. We have 2 social cats who are happy to play with/co exist your pets or leave them alone (they follow cues). They are dog friendly and also familiar with pups that may be a lot for them, so have their safe places to go if needed. We have had over 400 fosters and would be happy to meet your pet before scheduling boarding. We do assist with helping continue training, schedule and provide proper socialization to your pet at their pace. We make sure that we are following your continued schedule and request for pet care. Our schedules are suited per pet. We have a quite room that is great if your pet needs a break or sometime away. This is our dog/cat lounge for when we are away with dog beds, kennels (only if needed) and plenty of toys and boxes if needed. If they are more comfortable roaming the house, we are suited for that as well! Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

My wife and I were very comfortable on our 10 days in France knowing Duffy was in good hands with Rachel--a dog-sitting veteran! She regularly sent photos & videos showing a happy dog which brought smiles. And except for a few incidents "involving mud"--in which Rachel had to bathe a reluctant little guy--things went smoothly. If you're looking for a reliable house-sitter, look no further than Rachel!
Rachel and her daughter were wonderful! My hesitant cat adjusted wonderfully and am so thankful she was cared for so well.
Rachel was easy to communicate with and scheduled a meet and greet prior to our first overnight boarding. We received pictures of our dog during her stay. We’re already planning to use Rachel again in a few weeks. Thank you, Rachel!!
Rachel house sitted with our 2 dogs and 2 cats for 6 nights. She was excellent and we will use her services again in the future. She sent us pictures and video and communication was great. She even cleaned while we were away and that was not part of our expectations. She definitely knows animals and was a great caretaker for our quirky bunch. We have a very timid Velcro dog that warmed up to her quickly and definitely the meanest cat that allowed her a few pets while we were away.

Schedule
We make sure we have the time and availability to continue the schedule you have with your pet. I work from home several days a week and also my daughter is home most of the time as well. Your pet will never go more than 4 hours without being let out/checked on through the day (this is for our in-home boarding due to having 2 sitters watching over you pet. For housesitting, please connect about timelines for let's outs and how often you pet requires *as one sitter is only available for these services*.

We will treat your pets like our own. We ask that you provide their typical feeding, exercise, sleep schedule, walking and potty routine and follow along the best we are able. We make sure your pet feels welcome and taken care of and you are provided with updates.

A typical day
I like to begin walks in the neighborhood to get your pet accustomed to me and I them. I will be happy to bring them on trails/parks at your discretion. We have lots of fun brain games we play with pups and are happy to continue whatever training you have started or looking to begin - even kitties!

- I prefer to meet pups and parents so that I can get a feel for the needs of the family. I will make sure to keep up any schedules and training you are working on. We have no breed restrictions and love giant pups as much as the littles.
