I have a large fenced-in yard with plenty of room to roam, plus a screened in patio. I have two rescue dogs that are great with other dogs. Both dogs are spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Information Dana K. would like to know about your pet
If your dogs are going to come in contact with our resident dogs we request your dog be up to date with all vaccines, as well as a flea/tick preventative during the spring, summer, and fall months. I also need to be made aware of any medical conditions and your preferred vet in case of emergencies. Lastly I like to know what, if anything, frightens or causes your dog anxiety and how best to comfort them.
A typical day
Typically we do two meals a day, twelve hours apart i.e. 5:30am and 5:30pm. Dog treats are given during positive reinforcement training, and throughout the day after given a command such as sit, stay, or shake. Our neighborhood is very walkable, plus there are several walking paths/lakes that are just a short car ride away. We also have a small kiddie pool we put in the yard on hot days.

Pet care experience
I started my pet care journey when I took a job at Chuck and Don’s in 2012, where I learned about pet nutrition and specialty diets. Then, in 2017 I started work with the Animal Humane Society as an adoption coordinator. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and needs including my own 120 pound Newfoundland that passed away of old age in 2021.
Reviews

Thanks Dana! The dogs were so glad to see you when we dropped them off!

Thanks Dana! Our pups were relaxed and happy when we picked them up!

Mystic had to do daycare alone without his doggy sister today and Dana made sure he had a great day! He came home tired and happy - highly recommend Dana's great care!

Dana is awesome! There is so much comfort in knowing she’s taking care of Miles when I have to be away. I’m so grateful I found her on Rover!
