An at-home mom who loves animals
I'm a full-time stay at home mom who loves animals and has lots of flexibility in my schedule to care for animals. While we don’t have any pets now, I loved growing up with both dogs and cats, and I will give special attention to your furry friend and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are in my home. Our home is a safe and clean environment for pets. We have a large fenced-in backyard where your pet can get ample supervised exercise and fresh air, and my children (ages 18, 16, 14, and 12) have tender loving spirits toward animals and are eager to help by offering a gentle helping hand and lots of love and attention, and we'll love to cuddle and play with your dog while they are here. We live in a quiet neighborhood where I can walk your dog on sidewalks, and we are also walking distance from nature-filled walking paths and the Minnesota River Valley trails, where I can take your leashed dog to explore nature if they'd like that. We are happy to follow the feeding and activity schedule that your dog is accustomed to to help them feel at ease and reduce stress. I want you to feel carefree knowing that your pet is in watchful, gentle hands and is happy and safe while you are away. We love having repeat clients and developing lasting relationships with dogs (and their owners). We look forward to meeting you and your furry friend when you need us!

Schedule
We homeschool, so we're around most days and evenings to provide plenty of attention morning, noon, and night to the dogs we board in our home.

Safety, trust & environment
We keep safety in mind for your pet: we have a large and secure fenced in yard for dogs to run and play (we always supervise outdoor time), and our home is a comfortable, tidy, and friendly place for dogs as well. We keep any potentially hazardous plants and household items safely out of reach, and we gate the kitchen to keep dogs safe from any foods they shouldn't get to. We always have your dogs nearby so we can keep loving watch over your pet throughout the day.
A typical day
Our family loves to engage dogs with regular exercise (leashed walks in the neighborhood and in the nearby river valley for dogs that might enjoy that), backyard play and running, and we love to play tug and ball inside and outside, work on tricks with treats you provide, and of course, cuddle. We steer clear of dog parks to eliminate unfamiliar situations while your dog is with us.
