About: I have been raising my two Labradors since they were puppies and have also cared for older/elderly dogs of my friends and family. I have lots of energy so can handle energetic dogs. My daytime job is flexible and I often have time in between tasks so that I can be available during the workday, evenings, and weekends! One of my two Labradors lives with me (the other lives with my ex-partner, but he visits from time to time). While we no longer kennel/crate, I do have a crate set up in my living room, if needed. I don't have a fenced in yard, but love taking the dogs to dog parks to run, play, etc.

I would love to go exploring on a long walk or nice (slow) jog with your pet, but am equally happy to spend time showering them with plenty of belly rubs or games of fetch. I work from home, so I am able to take dogs out frequently and reassure anxious dogs who just need someone around. I live in a townhome community with trails nearby that my dog and I like to walk and would love to show your pet too, whether that walk is 5 minutes or 50! My 12-year old rescue Westie Truman is working on his training and gets along very well and easily with other little to medium sized dogs. That said, if you have a bigger pup we may not be the best fit, as Tru can still be scared of bigger dogs sadly (we’re working on it with his cousin Eddie). About: We are a dog-loving family, especially of the small variety! I have been taking care of dogs for most of my life and began sitting through Rover three years ago. We are a homeschool family, so my 9 and 7-year-old daughters enjoy helping with feeding, playing with, and cuddling the pups. We also have a one-year-old son, so the doggies we take must be ok with small children. Our 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Dulce, also really enjoys having doggy company, and we only accept small dogs to accommodate her. We promise to treat your sweet pup like he/she is a beloved member of the family! We homeschool so someone is usually available for a quick potty break or belly rub! Walking outdoors (in nice weather) is a favorite family activity so we try to take the dogs out daily. In the event we don’t make it out on a walk, the pups get their exercise and sniffs in by playing in the backyard. Our dog Dulce loves to have a partner in crime chasing squirrels our large fenced backyard! We are an active family with two girls (ages 9 & 7) and a 1-year-old son who also love to play and interact with the dogs. Our house has hardwood floors for easy cleaning. Guest doggies are welcome to sleep next to our bed on their doggy bed, or if they sneak up to find a cozy spot next to our feet we won’t complain!

“Jennifer is terrific! Our meet and greet went great and our Willa immediately bonded with Jennifer and her dogs. It was obvious visiting with her that she loves dogs and Willa would be well cared for by Jennifer. During Willa’s stay, Jennifer sent us a couple of videos and a photo of Willa enjoying her visit and told us about Willa’s 2 hour visit to the dog park. Will definitely contact Jennifer the next time we need a caring and safe place when we take a trip where Willa can’t go with us.”
