About: I grew up on a farm, so animals have always been a big part of my life. My family has had dogs for most of my life, and although we’re currently between dogs after losing our two longtime companions, we love having new four-legged friends in the house! About: We are a dog-loving family, especially of the small variety! I have been taking care of dogs for most of my life and began sitting through Rover three years ago. We are a homeschool family, so my 9 and 7-year-old daughters enjoy helping with feeding, playing with, and cuddling the pups. We also have a one-year-old son, so the doggies we take must be ok with small children. Our 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Dulce, also really enjoys having doggy company, and we only accept small dogs to accommodate her. We promise to treat your sweet pup like he/she is a beloved member of the family! We homeschool so someone is usually available for a quick potty break or belly rub! Walking outdoors (in nice weather) is a favorite family activity so we try to take the dogs out daily. In the event we don’t make it out on a walk, the pups get their exercise and sniffs in by playing in the backyard. Our dog Dulce loves to have a partner in crime chasing squirrels our large fenced backyard! We are an active family with two girls (ages 9 & 7) and a 1-year-old son who also love to play and interact with the dogs. Our house has hardwood floors for easy cleaning. Guest doggies are welcome to sleep next to our bed on their doggy bed, or if they sneak up to find a cozy spot next to our feet we won’t complain!

“Our pug LOVED his 4-day stay with Brenda and her family! Our little guy got along great with her two pit bulls and really bonded with their little boy. The dogs played and ran together in the fenced in yard. Our pug came home happy and ready to nap. Each day, I received a couple of photos with a brief update which I appreciated. This was a short-notice booking, and I am so grateful that Brenda was available. We will definitely arrange dog-sitting with Brenda in the future.”
“Kelly did a great job watching my two toy Aussie’s! The dogs immediately got comfortable with Kelly and her two beautiful greyhounds. They loved the large fenced in grass yard— they were in dog heaven! Kelly sent photos and kept me posted on how my pups were doing. “Amanda and Leif was absolutely wonderful! They welcomed Boba right into her home and even let him sleep on the bed, which he loves and helps him feel totally comfortable. He got plenty of walks, lots of playtime with her little boys to keep him busy, and he came home tired out, happy, and clearly very well-loved. Amanda was also super communicative and sent lots of photos throughout his stay, which really put us at ease since it was his first time staying with her. We definitely will be using Amanda and her sweet family for future stays!”
