My Daily Routine Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout much of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and walks without them feeling like they are simply being left alone. I typically start the day with potty time, breakfast, and some attention or a walk before settling into work. Throughout the workday, I take breaks to check on the dogs, let them outside for potty breaks using a leash or tie-out, other walk as needed to give them attention, and make sure they are comfortable. They are welcome to relax near me while I work, and I can adjust my routine based on each dog’s individual needs. I do occasionally need to be away from home for work or other commitments, but I’m very flexible and plan my schedule around the dogs in my care whenever possible. I’m comfortable adjusting feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications, rest time, or other routines to match what your dog is accustomed to. My goal is to provide a calm, loving home environment where your dog can feel comfortable, included, and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to work with their individual personality, age, energy level, and routine. I treat every dog in my home like one of my own, while following the routine and preferences their family has established for them with love, attention and affection.
