About: I am certified in first aid and cpr for cats and dogs! Caring for pets has been such a joy for me and I will always go the extra mile for them. I've gained valuable experience in ensuring the happiness and health of household animals like cats and dogs, as well as farm animals like chickens and goats, enjoying every moment spent with these furry and feathered friends. I do my best to be flexible around my busy schedule to help others and their pets! I prioritize each pet's needs throughout the day. Caring for someone's pet in their home involves maintaining their routines and providing plenty of attention and affection. When pets stay in my home, I ensure they feel comfortable and loved while sticking to their familiar routines and introducing them to enriching activities. In both settings, my goal is to create a stress-free and enjoyable experience for the pets under my care.

Wow! Ed has been just amazing. I came back from knee surgery and just wasn’t able to walk my dog . Ed has been so kind. Consistently prompt and incredibly dependable, Ed always was flexible when I needed a schedule flex. He offered really helpful insights for my dog’s aging (he’s almost 17), was always on time and so thoughtful. Ed even brought me a cookie and hauled my empty and full garbage cans to the curb and back! My dog really loved him and I appreciated the updates. I’ve so enjoyed having Ed’s assistance with walking and would highly recommend him for any help you may need with your pets.

About: Family of 4 animal lovers! We’ve had pets our entire lives and for the past year have been helping with dog fostering. Our two daughters love to help so your pet will receive plenty of attention, love, and playtime in our fully fenced backyard! I work from home so your pet will rarely be alone and will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. Pets are family here and are welcome to any furniture during their stay. We’d love to care for yours like one of our own! Our backyard is quite spacious and fully fenced in. If you’d like, we can definitely take your dog for a walk as our neighborhood is in a quiet suburb of Prior Lake without through traffic (our kids bike around with no fear). We also have two friendly cats who mostly keep to themselves (or cuddle with each other!) and will happily give your dog space.

About: I have had a passion for caring for animals since I was 12, when I started volunteering at my local nature center to care for the reptile habitats. Since that first job, I spent much of high school and college pet sitting and owning a variety of animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, fish, and birds. I have experience caring for old and young animals, a variety of breeds, and administering medications. Whatever your needs may be, you deserve to have peace of mine while away from home. My pet sitting style is “there is no such thing as too much information!”. Before any visit, I will come meet you and your pet to help your pet recognize me, give us the opportunity to get to know each other, and discuss any details pertinent to your request. Throughout the visit, you can anticipate a plethora of pictures and videos of your pet, detailed updates on how your pet is doing, how their appetite is, how their bathroom habits are, and anything cute they've done in the stay! Reach out to me for your pet sitting needs, and enjoy security that your pet is in kind, competent, and caring hands. My schedule is incredibly flexible. I have a full-time job where I work from home, which allows me to be available anywhere I can bring my laptop and connect to wifi! Whether your needs are for day time visits, evening visits, overnight stays, or a combination of days and times, I am incredibly flexible to be where you need me when you need me. I will always treat your pets as though they are my own. I am committed to giving your pet the same standard of care that you would give them yourself. If there is a special request you have for your pet then by all means, ask! I understand firsthand how important those special routines are to our pets. If your dog needs someone to lay on the floor next to them while they eat, then I will make sure I am not wearing white so I can get down there.

About: I have taken care of dogs the last 5 years from walking dogs to staying overnight in others houses! Having dogs come here to sit makes me so happy and excited:) I have a 5 year old lab-husky mix who loved walks:) I have loved animals forever and know how to handle difficult situations! I’m currently working part-time as a restaurant server/bartender and my hours are no longer than 7 hours a shift on a long night. Other than that I currently have no commitments and have plenty of time to care for some puppers!! Lokkee is great with other dogs! We have a large yard, however, not fenced in. I have a spacious home with plenty of room for some doggy friends!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was able to drive. I have grown up around them and have pet sat for multiple family friends at least once a year. I have done some therapy dog training in middle school and have carried that with me when interacting with new pets. I am attending Normandale to complete my prerequisites in order to attend Pharmacy school at the University of Minnesota. Having a flexible schedule allows me to make sure I have time to get my work done. If your pet needs company, I am happy to sit and read a text book to them or play with them/take walks if I need a good break. As of fall 2026, I am only taking 2 classes which leaves plenty of time to come play with your fur baby! I believe smell and actions are important on first meetings. I am very gentle and will always let them smell me before I attempt to pet or play. Not all animals are trusting of people and I believe slow and steady does the trick. I lived with a Blind Shih Tzu for 2 years and at first she was always shaky and scared of everything. By the time her owner moved out, she wasn’t even afraid of storms anymore as I was able to work with her and give her confidence.

About: -My own friendly dog loves hosting and provides great company and socialization for your pup. -A fully secure, fenced-in yard means worry free playtime. -Whether your dog needs high-energy puppy supervision and routine reinforcement, or a gentle, patient hand for senior medication and slow walks, I adapt my home to their specific life stage. -You’ll get daily photo and text check-ins so you never have to wonder how they are doing. Because I work from home very limited hours, pet care is seamlessly woven into my entire day. Your dog will have constant companionship and supervision. My routine revolves around the pups: we start the morning with a potty break, then breakfast, and a fun play session in my fenced yard. Throughout the day, I will play fetch or let the dogs out for a sunbath. Evenings are reserved for neighborhood walks, dinner, and wind-down cuddles on the couch. Because I am always here, your dog will never have to wait long for a bathroom break, a fresh bowl of water, or a belly rub. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family during their stay. They will have full access to a comfortable, climate-controlled home and a large, fully secure, fenced-in backyard. Safety is my top priority, so I always do a thorough sweep of the fence line before any new guest arrives, and I never leave dogs unsupervised in the yard.

About: My husband and I have grown up with dogs and you will receive tons of pictures throughout the day! We have flexible jobs where we can work from home so your dog will always have someone to hang out with. Our house has a very large fenced in backyard where the critters can run around and chase all the rabbits and squirrels out. Your pup will have full access to the entire house including all of the furniture and beds. Please let us know if you would like to set up a meet and greet to ensure that all our furry critters get along. We basically schedule our days around dogs and their daily needs. Just let us know what their routine is and we will stick with what they’re used to. My husband and I both work hybrid/remote and someone will always be home with the dogs to hang out with them, let them out, etc.

Wr are always so thankful when Keith is available to help out with the pups. He’s prompt, professional and our dogs love him. Pops is still young and can get rambunctious but Keith is always patient with her. They have spent enough time together that he knows her quirks and works well with her.

It's always great to have Ann walk my Howie! Howie is about 75 pounds and is reactive with other dogs, so I will ask walkers to try their best to steer away from crossing other dogs' paths. Ann does this every time and gives me an update on Howie did on the walk. I greatly appreciate her.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
