I am retired and am free most days. In the mornings I leave for about an hour to go exercise and sometimes I babysit my 2 grandkids after school. That leaves plenty of dog time. And if I have to leave usually my husband is home.

If training is requested I would love to do that and I would walk them around our quiet neighborhood circle of all newer homes. Feed them in the kitchen and let them sit on the sofa with us when we watch tv at night.

I would like to know if they are prone to chewing, biting or having accidents in the house ahead of time. I like small dogs. Especially Schnauzers and prefer non or light shedding dogs. I don’t mind brushing them or training them, either on a leash or just tricks.
A typical day
I would like to spend time walking on a leash around the neighborhood. Training to walk on a leash is a favorite thing to do. There is a nice walking trail in our neighborhood. Playing fetch or other games with toys in the house would be part of our daily plans.

Pet care experience
I have owned dogs most of my life and have taken many thru dog school and was awarded trophies for training. I had miniature schnauzers and loved training them. Sadly we had to put down our last one right before we moved to MN.
