I have lifelong experience in animal care and will love and treat your pets as my own. My mother is a veterinarian, and I grew up surrounded by a diverse array of loving dogs, cats, and other pets. She trained me on important techniques like feeding routines, clean-up and bathing, wound care, and reading body language -- but most importantly, she taught me the art of loving animals for who they are. Recognizing and respecting your pet's unique needs and personality will be paramount to me, and I will try my best to make them feel safe and comfortable during our time together. My friends, family, and coworkers have all trusted me to care for their pets. I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all kinds with a diverse range of personalities and habits. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priority, and I will try my best to make our time together as stress-free and paws-itive as possible! Some more specialized skills I have are experience raising puppies and kittens, administering medications for aging pets, and following strict food and exercise regimens. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon!

Schedule
I currently have a teaching position that requires me to be on-campus 4 days a week. I am still available to board, but am out-of-the-house for 5-8 hours at a time most days. I am also available to board most weekends. Please refer to my calendar for my updated availability.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's comfort and safety are my priority. When House-Sitting: I will request instructions for any specific care needs for your pet and will follow them closely. I have supplies for dog-related care (extra poop bags, toys, treats) that I can bring to assist if needed. When Boarding: I have a 6ft privacy fence in the backyard with ample room to romp and play. I have one dog of my own (Rowan, 4yr-old Labrador Retriever) who loves to meet new furry friends. Rowan is crated when out-of-the-house, and I have additional space to crate your pets (if needed). I also have multiple dog-beds available for comfortable snoozing.
Pets
A typical day
When home with your dog, I will give your pup plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Boarding rates include 1-2 walks per day (weather-permitting), as my schedule allows multiple walks. My home also has a large fenced backyard with ample room for your dog to romp and play. I have a handful of dog toys on hand for 1:1 play or for group play with my dog, Rowan, and other playmates.
