Hi, I'm Kayla! I’m an experienced cat sitter who has been caring for cats for friends and family for more than 10 years. I love that every cat has their own personality, and I enjoy earning their trust and helping them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I have also volunteered with cats at the Humane Society, where I worked with cats of many different personalities, including shy cats, nervous cats, and cats who need extra patience to warm up. I’m calm and attentive and let cats move at their own pace so they can feel relaxed in their own home. I have experience giving cats medication and caring for cats who need extra attention or medical care. In college I cared for my organic chemistry professor’s diabetic cats and administered their medication while he was away. I have also given medication to other cats I’ve cared for over the years. During visits I make sure food, water, and litter boxes are taken care of, and I spend time playing with or keeping your cat company if they’re interested. Sometimes they just need somebody sitting in the room with them. I’m always happy to send photo updates so you can see how your cat is doing while you’re away. I have two cats of my own, Merlin and Kronk, so I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pet. I’ll do my best to make sure your cat feels comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.
