Hi there! My name is Rachel. Cat sitting is more than a side-gig to me. I am passionate about cats. They bring me so much happiness. I love spending time with them & seeing them open up & be themselves. I grew up with cats of varying personalities ranging from grumpy & shy to affectionate & cuddly. My mom was the lady who would help the ferals & that’s what sparked my love for cats. I have experience scooping litter, feeding, brushing & playing with cats. I volunteer at a local cat rescue a few times a month. I love snuggling with cats, but also respect the boundaries of shy cats, letting them warm up at their own pace. I also acknowledge some cats prefer their alone time & I love those kitties just as much! I adopted my senior boy a few years ago. I have a special place in my heart for senior cats, giving them a safe and loving home to live out their golden years. I promise to care for your cats in the same way I’d want my own to be treated. Your cat will be in good hands with me! I’m also happy to bring in your mail, water your plants or fill bird feeders if needed☀️

I’ll be respectful of your space. I’ll make sure to sweep up any tracked litter, clean up messes and take care of anything else that needs attention. Please let me know where your cleaning supplies are before the visit.

Wow! Rachel was so nice and caring to my cats while I was away. She took the time to ensure my shy cat got some pets and treats - I appreciate that the shy cat wasn't overlooked! I would rebook Rachel in a heartbeat. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter!

Rachel is absolutely amazing! She took such good care of my cat Jack. This was my first time leaving him and I was nervous but her communication and genuine love and care to make sure he had a great experience put my mind at such ease. She was even kind enough to do a meet and great before I left him and Jack warmed up to her instantly and I knew he was in great hands! She not only made sure he was fed and taken care of but that he got all the pets and attention his little heart wanted. She sent pictures so I could see how great he was doing and even swept up the litter he tracks around! She went above and beyond for my boy and put this anxious cat mom’s heart and mind at ease. I can’t say enough great things! 10/10 recommend for any one looking for top notch care for your fur babies!

Schedule
My regular job is flexible. I have large chunks of time off. On days that show availability, I am free to stop in at any time!
- CatsRachel can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- I would love to know if your cat has any special needs and what their boundaries are. Is your cat reactive? Shy? Do they like pets? Please also let me know about any health issues. I’m happy to give medication in pill pockets, but I do not give meds where the cat needs to be held down.
