About: I am also a pet sitter on the app TrustedHouseSitters and really enjoy the journey of pet sitting! I grew up LOVING dogs but was never allowed one and only grew up with cats & a bearded dragon of my own, so I would only get the chance to be with dogs when it came to friends having them. As I got older and attained my own place, I took it upon myself to dog sit for my friends, family, and sometimes neighbors. I’ve been doing this for 4 years now, in my home and their homes as well. The longest I have dog sat is for a year for a family friend while they were away in the military. (The dog was untrained and very hard to take care of lol) I have an unconditional love for all animals! About: Dogs have always been my passion, I love caring for my dogs and others!! I have experience with puppies, geriatrics and special needs. I’ve taken care of my own dog and friends and family members’ dogs that have come in all different breeds and sizes. Allison took absolutely stellar care of my cat, Zelda, for just over 3 weeks with drop-in daily visits and I couldn't be happier with how thorough and communicative she was! Zelda can be a bit touchy with people she doesnt know and eats a prescription diet to combat urinary crystals, which tend to breakthrough the medication when she becomes stressed, typically when I'm on vacation. Thanks to Allison spending most of the visits playing with Zelda, there were no breakthrough flare ups at all while I was away, a first! Allison also alerted me that Zelda's autofeeder ran out of food at one point and refilled it during her visit. It's easy to tell that Allison really cares about the well-being of the animals she visits and it was an iverall pleasure to work with her - thanks Allison!
Adrianna has done one extended stay and one drop in with our 3 dogs- plus our foster dog. We do not have easy dogs. She has been great. Definitely understands how to work with dogs of different temperaments. She is quick to respond and has always followed through and been on time.
We had such a great experience with Jada! She was prompt, incredibly kind, and took great care of our husky, Bosco. I really appreciated that she sent pictures during every visit—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Tim is a contentious cat sitter. My cats look forward to getting treats and wet food when he visits. He brushes them and plays with them in addition to the liter box duties. He checks the fountain for fresh water and makes sure the auto feeder has food. He lets me know if they have left hairballs, etc. he also turns on different lights every day. I recommended him to my sister. He spends about a half hour with them each visit so all the boxes are checked.
Evelyn has been absolutely wonderful taking care of Yoko. She consistently checked in, kept me updated, and communicated with me throughout the entire time I was away. As someone who worries a lot about leaving my cat for several days, Evelyn gave me complete peace of mind. Knowing that Yoko was being cared for by someone so reliable, attentive, and compassionate made all the difference. I truly appreciate the care and attention she provided, and I always felt reassured that Yoko was in great hands. Erinn was able to stop by today for a last minute drop in request. She spent some time with Buddy and took him on a walk in addition to the regular duties. She is very responsible, attentive and communicates so well. We look forward to being able to have her stay with Buddy in the future since we had to cancel her weekend booking due to a medical situation for me. She was very understanding!
I just utilized Michelle for a long weekend for my Lab for x3 visits per day. She is full of great energy! When we came home my lab was happy and acted like we’d been gone for a few hours instead of days! Michelle made the separation during a trip enjoyable for everyone. Melissa is exceptionally caring and had a wonderful approach with our Great Dane, Kota. She left the perfect level of details after each of her visits and was thoughtful about our dogs knee (recovering from surgery) while still giving her plenty of time to play.
